Colonial Suit
#395 - Legendary Man
Under Term's guidance, Blood瞳 approached the planet and soon arrived at a massive structure. He expected to stop, but instead, driven by a mysterious force, he passed directly through the wall and entered the building's interior. It was magnificent, with shimmering energy conduits everywhere. Tendon tissue and energy conduits were perfectly integrated, forming a unique architectural style.
His final destination was the building's lower level, a vast space spanning tens of thousands of square meters. Countless modulation nests were neatly arranged on both sides of the space, each containing a bio-suit.
These bio-suits had their outer shells removed, exposing the tendons and exoskeletons beneath, giving them a menacing appearance. Some had developed bone spurs, while others remained at the most basic cellular stage. Countless bio-conduits connected them to the modulation nests, delivering unknown fluids. Outside the nests, numerous staff members in white robes were busily working, constantly adjusting the nests' configurations.
These staff members closely resembled humans, but Blood瞳 knew they were Clodiers, or 'Sages,' as they called themselves.
Like a ghost, Blood瞳 passed through them and quickly arrived at the rear of the modulation nest sequence. Here, a row of unique, large-scale modulation nests stood tall, each containing a massive skeleton.
"This is where I was born. Clodier Civilization, 75th War Zone, Mednick Star. Because the front lines were fierce, the Clodier Civilization urgently needed a Tier 2 bio-suit to bridge the gap between high and low-end combat capabilities. So I was modulated as a test subject," Term said in Blood瞳's ear, his voice calm and deep.
Through the modulation nests in front of him, Blood瞳 saw that these skeletons had begun to grow tendons. Many of them had strange crystals installed inside, making them unique.
"These are autonomous crystals," Term explained calmly. "Because time was short, our modulation used many immature technologies and templates, resulting in extremely high instability. To ensure our safety, autonomous crystals were essential."
"Autonomous crystals?" Blood瞳 asked, puzzled. He had never heard of this.
"This isn't Clodier technology. Autonomous crystals come from the Morta Civilization. Our King exchanged a great price to obtain them," Term said softly, his tone filled with regret. "Unfortunately, even this advanced civilization's product couldn't prevent the tragedy that followed."
The scene shifted, and the image before Blood瞳 changed. He was now above a vast plaza, where dozens of the giant bio-suits he had seen before were neatly arranged. Below, some strong warriors were making contact with them as instructed by the Sages. As bright red lights flashed, the giant bio-suits began to disintegrate, attaching themselves to the warriors like living things.
They donned the giant bio-suits.
But what happened next shocked Blood瞳. The first warrior to put on a bio-suit had just stood up, and before he could take a few steps, an inhuman howl came from under his faceplate. He then rushed towards those around him like a madman. He tore apart both fellow bio-suits and Sages along the way, and blood instantly dyed the ground like a lake.
This wasn't an isolated incident. Almost all the warriors who donned the giant bio-suits lost their minds, attacking every moving object around them almost frantically. Although they had no weapons, they were incredibly strong, like bloodthirsty behemoths from ancient times, and in an instant, they tore the entire plaza into a living hell. When the last Sage was torn apart, they began to attack each other. Blood splattered everywhere, and bestial roars echoed through the sky.
Their fighting was so barbaric and primitive, yet filled with a bloody and violent aura. Blood瞳 watched as one giant bio-suit was torn apart, and its enemy squatted down to pick up its limbs, devouring them like a beast. The sharp mouthparts on the bio-suit's cracked faceplate were as terrifying as a demon.
This frenzy soon ended. The mutual attacks of the giant bio-suits caused unimaginable destruction. The entire plaza was riddled with craters. When the final victor, a giant bio-suit that had grown bone spurs, stood up unsteadily, an even more terrifying scene occurred.
It actually began to melt amid a shrill howl, like steel in a furnace, and soon turned into a pool of flesh. During this process, the tendons on its body were still wriggling frantically, constantly biting and devouring each other.
What a terrifying scene that was… Even a battle-hardened warrior like Blood瞳 couldn't help but feel a chill down his spine at this moment. Watching the horrific scene of a giant bio-suit rapidly melting in minutes, he was unknowingly covered in cold sweat.
"This is…"
"Autonomous crystal collapse, uncontrolled bio-suit cell mutation," Term replied. "For some reason, the Clodier Sages underestimated the enhanced cells they had created. These new cells, known as 'Children of the Devil,' possessed destructive power far beyond common sense, but also an invasive nature far beyond common sense. Even with autonomous crystals, they couldn't stop their gluttony for food. The out-of-control 'Children of the Devil' could devour each other in minutes, along with their hosts, and self-destruct due to rapid metabolism."
"This is the only type of enhanced cell in the history of the Clodier Civilization that dies immediately after losing food. Their hunger for food can't even wait for more than a second, and they eat everything. No known creature can imagine their appetite."
"So, this experiment ended in failure. The Mednick Star负责人 ordered the Sages to destroy the remaining test subjects, recover the cell material, and permanently seal the design blueprints."
Term narrated calmly, finally sighing. "It should have ended here, but no one could have imagined that someone would change everything."
The scene shifted again, and Blood瞳 returned to the magnificent modulation center, still the underground modulation nest sequence. A group of Clodier guards were rushing in to destroy the remaining giant bio-suits. But when they arrived, they found a burly man standing there, silently watching the giant bio-suits in the modulation nests.
The guards were stunned. One of them cautiously stepped forward and said something, seemingly asking the man if they could destroy the bio-suits.
The man waved his hand and replied indifferently.
"It's mine. I need it."
With just that one sentence, one giant bio-suit was spared, and the rest were destroyed.
"That was me, and he… is my master!"
Term's voice suddenly rang in Blood瞳's ear, filled with fanaticism and intensity! At that moment, Blood瞳 even felt that it wasn't a core, but a passionate warrior who had finally been given the chance to rush onto the battlefield after waiting for so long. That fanaticism and intensity were so thick that they could almost drown a person.
The following scenes changed extremely quickly, all showing the man's combat performance after obtaining the giant bio-suit. He was as unrestrained as thunder, frantically sweeping across the battlefield. No one could stop his attacks. Although his giant bio-suit had no weapon systems, he relied solely on his fists and combat skills to knock down one powerful enemy after another. In the end, when he swept across the battlefield, the entire battlefield would be under his shadow. Enemies would quickly collapse, and comrades would cheer fanatically.
That was the sound of victory, the Clodiers' worship of the strong. Seeing these scenes, no one would doubt the man's strength. He didn't even need to use words to express his will. Just one look, one breath, and the enemy would flee without a fight. His giant figure was not only the epitome of strength, but also a guarantee of victory.
He swept across the land, and the land would tremble.
He flew through the sky, and the sky would tear apart.
His strength could destroy planets, and his will could burn the sea.
"He is my master!!!"
Term shouted again, trembling with fanaticism. "One of the greatest men of the Clodier, the great legendary warrior, Leia! He is the king of the battlefield, the embodiment of all power. His power can make planetary-level tremble, and his will can penetrate the universe! Moreover, he is also one of the most outstanding geniuses in Clodier history. He solved the hemophilia problem that has plagued the Clodier civilization for thousands of years! He is the real Sage!"
"What!?"
Hearing this, Blood瞳 was suddenly stunned, sensitively noticing a term Term mentioned. "Are you talking about hemophilia?"
"That's right," Term replied proudly. "The Clodiers' greatest weakness, a self-destructive genetic terminal illness. My master found a solution. If it weren't for my master, the Clodier civilization would never have been able to develop to the later stage."
Speaking of this, Term's voice suddenly became dim, like a disappointed pet.
"But my master… still encountered setbacks. In the later stages of the Clodier civilization, we encountered the most dangerous war in history, with as many as tens of thousands of civilizations declaring war on us at the same time. Among them were our former allies. My master… the great Leia, had to face the legendary warrior of the Morta, who was also a super civilization at the time. Although he eventually won, he was also seriously injured. I was almost defeated."
"Originally, he should have rested at this time, but he also received a secret mission from the Clodier royal family. In order to ensure the mission was completed, he had to abandon me and change his bio-suit."
"And then, I never saw him again…"
Term's voice gradually weakened, eventually disappearing without a trace. And at this moment, the man in the scene had just defeated a group of enemies, standing on top of a cloud-piercing mountain peak, removing his bio-suit.
This was the first time Blood瞳 had seen him face to face. But he was struck by lightning!!
Because… he had seen that face…
The almost invincible man who had appeared in his battlefield nightmares!!
The true owner of the Unyielding Battle Stance!!
