Colonial Suit
#554 - A man who doesn't know how to give up
Rumbling sounds filled the sky as a massive amount of void lightning struck down continuously. The entire continent's energy was being stirred by the Blood Pupil, resulting in varying degrees of chaos. The ground shook violently, and a huge rift, spanning dozens of kilometers, appeared. The bottom of the rift was unfathomably deep, like a massive abyss.
If anyone were beneath the continent, they would discover a similar massive rift there as well. Large amounts of earth and rock were peeling off and scattering into the endless void.
This attack from the Blood Pupil undoubtedly pierced through the entire continent! It almost destroyed the main structure of the continent.
What terrifying destructive power this was.
Don't forget, the Blood Pupil was still being interfered with by the disordered binary energy rules. Even so, he caused such severe damage. If this were a normal universe, the force of his attack would have been enough to penetrate deep into the Earth's core! It could even trigger a devastating chain reaction!
The purple lightning in the sky became even denser, and an unforeseen storm swept across the entire land. Giant rocks, the size of small hills, were uprooted and then pulverized by the purple lightning in the air. Blood Pupil stood on a giant rock at the edge of the abyss, gasping for breath. But his face remained expressionless.
Beneath him, the pitch-black abyss seemed bottomless, with the light of purple lightning flashing within. Faintly, the rumbling of energy riots could be heard.
Shadow had completely disappeared.
However, Blood Pupil didn't think he had achieved victory. He knew very well that he hadn't posed an absolute threat to Shadow.
Shadow's power was simply too strong. The layer of black light enveloping his body seemed subtle, but Blood Pupil discovered during the attack that no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't break through this barrier. And as he increased his power, the barrier would send back an equal amount of rebound force, causing his fists and legs to bleed profusely.
It should be known that Blood Pupil's physical body was probably tougher than a warship... even he was rebounded to this extent, which showed how strong Shadow's barrier was.
So in the end, Blood Pupil had to pierce through the anti-space at all costs. Only then did he break through that barrier. But the final result could not be guaranteed.
Standing at the edge of the cliff, Blood Pupil silently pondered, while slowly gathering the energy within his body. At the same time, he fully extended his thought sense...
He wanted to find Shadow and capture his position.
But just as he released his thought sense, a chilling sensation suddenly surged into his heart, and Shadow's figure appeared behind him. His right hand opened and closed towards him.
"Distortion Surface!"
With a 'zzt' sound, a black cage made of black light instantly appeared around Blood Pupil, and before he could even struggle, the cage contracted violently, squeezing Blood Pupil's body hard towards the center. An unprecedented force acted on Blood Pupil, instantly causing his bones to creak.
Theoretically, Blood Pupil's physical strength had reached a limit value, making it almost impossible to be overwhelmed by the physical forces of a normal universe. But in this cage made of black light, he was still shrinking his body little by little, incredibly.
So strong, what strange power!
In the cage, Blood Pupil's lips were already bitten through. But he still couldn't resist the shrinking force of the cage. And in this state, he felt that not only his body, but also his spirit was being bound, compressed, and swallowed little by little.
The image of the sky began to blur, and Blood Pupil felt that he was about to lose his mind... vaguely, scenes from the past flashed through his mind, like a movie.
He saw himself struggling in the sewers of X35.
He saw Li'er giving him the food she had earned with her body, bit by bit, so that he could live.
He saw his first mission when he left the doomsday and became a space mercenary.
He saw Leia.
He saw the corpse in the sewer, and how he obtained the colony equipment for the first time.
Finally...
He saw himself.
A humble life trapped in a cage.
"This kind of thing." A burst of rage suddenly surged into Blood Pupil's heart. Even his soul trembled. Unconsciously, he straightened his back again, like an ancient roaring wild beast, exuding a terrifying aura. Visibly, Blood Pupil's muscles suddenly swelled more than three times, and a large number of blood vessels and veins bulged, almost bursting his combat suit.
Who is he!?
He is Blood Pupil!!
From the apocalypse, from the ruins, from the bottom, the humblest of lives!
But... this doesn't mean he carries the humblest of souls!!
From nothing to something. From small to big, from weak to strong! Blood Pupil's life has been in battle, relying not on strength, not on his body, and certainly not on his spirit, but only on his will! An unyielding will!
He can be defeated. He can die. But he can't bow his head, even if his bones are shattered and his body collapses, his will will surely pierce through the sky. Piercing the firmament.
How could such a person be trapped? How could he shrink humbly?
"Ee... ya..." In the cage, Blood Pupil's aura suddenly increased, instantly reaching a dangerous point. The energy of his whole body poured crazily into every cell. As the energy was embedded, he felt that his body was about to burn, and every inch of his skin and every bone burst out with terrifying power.
"This kind of thing..." He grinned, revealing a mouthful of bloodshot teeth. "How could it trap me."
"Give me..." Blood Pupil took another breath, and suddenly his figure soared. His arms propped up strongly.
"Get out of here!"
With a loud bang, a powerful red shockwave centered on Blood Pupil suddenly spread out, engulfing everything in its path like a tsunami. Visibly, swaths of rock were gasified, instantly annihilated into undetectable molecules. And the black cage that enveloped him was shattered into countless pieces like leaves in a storm.
"Good!" Even Shadow couldn't help but be moved by this. But the movements of his hands were merciless. He raised his hand again, pinched two fingers, and rubbed.
"Folding Surface!"
A black light flashed, and the whole world suddenly stopped silently. It was as if Blood Pupil's position had suddenly been thrown into a mirror, changing from three-dimensional to two-dimensional. It was unspeakably strange and horrifying. And as this mirror surface was completed, the destructive energy that Blood Pupil had unleashed came to an abrupt halt, and he could no longer destroy anything.
Visibly, a strange scroll appeared in front of Shadow, and the figure in the painting was Blood Pupil.
"This is, a space seal!?" Robbie in the distance was startled and his face turned as pale as paper.
Space Seal, as the name suggests, is a power that manipulates space. It locks and folds the designated space, and its effect is like being able to cut space at will. It is simply the strongest cage in the universe. From the distant Great Chaos to the present, this ability has always been considered one of the most terrifying abilities in the universe. I never thought I would see it here.
This... How is this possible??
But at this time, Robbie could no longer intervene. Shadow, who could even use space seals, probably had reached an unimaginable level of strength. Not to mention Robbie alone, even if everyone attacked together, it wouldn't be enough for him to look at. He didn't even need to take it seriously, just throwing out another space seal would be able to seal everyone into a flat space. Thrown into an endless cycle from which they could never be freed.
The air was filled with the smell of scorching heat, and Shadow's face returned to calm. He revealed an admiring gaze.
"Looks like you are more impulsive than I thought. Leia has found a good successor. But..."
"If you want to achieve your goal. These things alone are far from enough."
He quietly looked at the flat Blood Pupil and sighed softly. "Crodyll never tolerates the weak. No matter how pure your will is, without enough power to cooperate, it's just an empty dream. Unfortunately, I still can't agree with you."
As he spoke, he raised his hand and covered his head with the hood of his cloak again. At this moment, his figure actually seemed a little desolate, like the endless years of the past, exuding a sense of loneliness.
Then he turned and walked towards Robbie and the others. "Don't worry, I'm just letting him calm down, and I'll let him out when the energy in his body returns to calm. But I think your journey ends here. If you continue, I'm afraid no one can guarantee your safety."
"You should know that the next guardian is not as easy to talk to as I am."
"The next guardian?" Robbie opened his mouth slightly, revealing a look of surprise. "How many guardians are there, and what are you guarding?"
"How should I put it?" Shadow raised his head and quietly looked at the void lightning in the sky. A look of reminiscence appeared on his face. "I shouldn't have told you this, but since you are this kid's companions, it doesn't hurt to tell you."
"The name of the planet you entered is Crodyke, it is our trial star. Five guardians are arranged on this planet, guarding five altars respectively. Every trial taker who enters this place must fight us one by one, and only after obtaining our approval can they continue to move forward."
"Five guardians!?" Robbie's pupils shrank sharply, and he exclaimed in shock.
One guardian was already so terrifying, and there were four more existences like Shadow behind him? This... is this even possible? No wonder the space mercenaries and space pirates made such a big scene in this mission. Even the stellar level was sent out.
But judging from the current situation, even if the stellar level, or even the magic warrior of the energy civilization, appeared, I'm afraid it would be impossible to reach the end.
The first guardian, Shadow, alone is so powerful, and the guardians behind him are truly despairing to even think about.
But, what is the purpose of such tight protection? What does the trial mean?
Robbie couldn't figure it out. Just as he was about to ask again, he suddenly froze, and a horrified look flashed in his eyes.
"What, you still don't want to give up?" Shadow noticed Robbie's gaze and finally became a little impatient. In fact, it was already an anomaly that he could say so much to Robbie and the others based on his personality. If it weren't for Blood Pupil's sake, he wouldn't even have the interest to see Robbie and the others and would have thrown them into a flat space. Let them never be free.
Now that Robbie showed such an expression, did he want him to let the water go?
Slightly angry, Shadow was about to speak when he suddenly heard a crisp breaking sound behind him.
Immediately afterwards, a large hand grabbed his head and slammed him hard into the ground.
"I, will never give up."
Black flames rushed into the sky, and Blood Pupil's voice was like thunder. (To be continued. If you like this work, you are welcome to vote for recommendations and monthly tickets. Your support is my biggest motivation.)rq!!!
