Colonial Suit

#73 - Fight

“Looks like you escaped a calamity.” Watching the figures of the siblings walking away, Hector turned around and said grimly.

Blood Eye didn't answer him, but instead murmured in a seemingly self-talking voice, “Beware of shadows, what does this mean?”

Hector's face became even more unsightly. He spat resentfully, waved his hand, and a loud bang suddenly came from the assault pod below. A silver-white metal box ejected and landed right at his feet. Hector slapped the metal box, and with a crash, the box disintegrated.

Revealing a complete set of armor.

“What it means is not important anymore. Blood Eye, what's important is that you will be like Zero and Heng.” Hector said venomously. Then he glanced at Blood Eye's already blackened right hand. “Looks like it will be difficult for you to escape today's misfortune.”

“Is that so?” Blood Eye also glanced at his right hand. The corner of his mouth slightly hooked, revealing a smile that was not quite a smile. “This question… is really hard to say.”

“Then let your blood speak.” Hector quickly took a step forward and dived into the opened armor. Immediately following was a series of dense mechanical closing sounds, and the entire set of armor was assembled. The speed was as fast as lightning.

His armor was very different from what Blood Eye had seen. It was not completely humanoid in appearance, but rather a combination of a mantis-like upper body and a human lower body. There were two huge compound eyes on the head, and a narrow blade on the outer edge of each hand. Although there were no wings on the back, there were two sharp tail wings, the edges flashing with a sharp light.

Perhaps because of the protection of the armor, Hector's aura was even stronger. He glanced at Blood Eye disdainfully and said with a sly smile. “Hehe, it looks like you didn't even bring your armor with you. How can you struggle on your deathbed? If I'm not mistaken, your armor is in the ruins behind you, right? How pitiful, what's the difference between an unarmed mercenary and an ant?”

“Maybe.” Blood Eye was still the same as before, not at all alarmed by losing his armor. He quietly looked at the fully armed Hector, a flash of sarcasm in his eyes.

“Then, what are you waiting for?”

“Bastard!” Hector was finally enraged. He really couldn't stand Blood Eye's disdainful gaze. This kind of gaze made him feel that the weak one was himself, not Blood Eye.

Damn it, I'm wearing armor now, a mid-level armor in the Sixth World. Why is this guy ignoring me? Mocking me? Just because of his body without armor?

Anger accelerated Hector's blood, and a fierce light burst out in his eyes. Suddenly, he lowered his body and pounced towards Blood Eye. A dazzling trail of light sprayed out from under the tail wings on his back, allowing him to reach maximum speed in an instant! He stretched out his right hand, and the blade on the outer edge of his arm slashed diagonally towards Blood Eye.

His speed was extremely fast, completely different from the armor Blood Eye had seen before. It seemed that he was not good at strength, but at speed!

But he would never have thought that Blood Eye had not lost his armor, but simply didn't have one. Because he was using another set of armor that Hector had never heard of.

Tropke…

“Bio-Implant!”

A low shout rang out in the ruins. Immediately following, a ball of blue light burst open in front of Hector's eyes, stimulating him to open his eyes as if blind. Immediately following, he felt a blur in front of him, and the sure-kill blade actually missed?

“Damn it! What happened?”

The experienced Hector immediately felt something was wrong and moved sideways abruptly. With the maneuverability of his 'Mantis' armor, this only took less than half a second.

But this half second was enough…

Almost at the same time as Hector moved sideways, a demon-like figure had already shot over close to the ground, following him like a shadow. Before Hector could react, a pair of iron-钳 like hands grabbed his ankles.

“This is!” Hector was shocked. Just as he was about to fight back, he felt a lightness under his feet and was actually swung up directly by the other party. He slammed heavily into a broken wall not far away.

With a bang, the broken wall immediately shattered. A large amount of soil, rocks, and fragments scattered and shot out. Hector shot straight out like a cannonball, and destroyed two more broken walls before stopping. The intense shock did not hurt him, but it also made him dizzy. He couldn't get up immediately. Immediately following, his armor's intelligent brain sent out crazy alarms.

But it was too late…

In the smoke and dust, Blood Eye shot over with a strong whistling sound, in an almost barbaric posture. He crashed headfirst into Hector's arms. The shoulder impact armor burst out with tremendous power. With just one hit, Hector was lifted up. At the same time, his back suddenly sprayed out a long trail of light, and the speed increased again, actually catching up with Hector who was still floating in the air in an instant. The eyes under the mask burst out with a cold light. He punched the other party's soft ribs.

Impact Joint, Activate!

A blue light flashed at the wrist, and a terrifying force exploded. Hector only felt a numbness in his ribs, followed by a sea-like pain. In the corner of his eye, the armor's warning system was fully activated, and the graphic representing the damage to the ribs was a bright red.

“What is this thing, this is definitely not armor!”

Hector roared wildly in his heart, his eyes wide open. With his rich experience, he could definitely see that Blood Eye was not wearing any armor, but an equipment he had never seen before. This set of equipment was stronger, faster, and more domineering than the armor he had seen!

And what was even more terrifying was that Blood Eye was definitely not the rookie he had always thought he was, but an experienced and brutal beast!

That's right, a beast.

Apart from this word, Hector simply couldn't use anything else to describe Blood Eye. Because in such a short period of time, he had been continuously attacked by Blood Eye no less than three times. Each time, he hit his soft ribs. Although he also fought back, Blood Eye seemed to be crazy and completely ignored it. He actually managed to break through his armor's defense! Hector had only seen that kind of almost crazy obsession in some beasts.

At this moment, Hector's heart was filled with regret. If he had known from the beginning that Blood Eye was so difficult to deal with, then he would never have been careless. And he wouldn't have revealed a flaw as soon as he made a move.

But it was too late. With Blood Eye's habit, once he succeeded in one strike, how could he easily give up the remaining opportunities?

Seeing that Hector was floating in the air, he launched three consecutive punches, hitting him higher and higher. Then he jumped up, and in mid-air, he directly spun his body, and kicked Hector down. The powerful force turned Hector into a cannonball, directly blasting a large pit with a diameter of three meters on the ground.

With a bang, soil and rocks splashed. Hector was deeply trapped at the bottom of the pit. Blood Eye turned around in the air with the force, and his knee protruded. He pressed down like a meteorite!

Knee Press!

Blood Eye's movement was very similar to the knee smash movement in Muay Thai. In the air, using the momentum, he pressed his knee down with the strength and inertia of his whole body. Once it hit, it would be an almost fatal kill!

“Not good!” In a flash of lightning, all the hairs on Hector's body stood on end. A feeling of extreme danger surged in his heart.

Although he didn't know how much damage Blood Eye's movement would cause. But even looking at the other party's such smooth attack, he knew that this blow would definitely be a sure kill. In an instant, he couldn't care about the dizziness anymore, and suddenly let out a shrill scream.

“Ah!”

A shock wave invisible to the naked eye suddenly erupted, instantly blasting the ground within a radius of tens of meters. With Hector as the center, all objects were shattered in an instant. The scene was actually very similar to Lille's sonic attack back then. Blood Eye's pupils suddenly contracted without warning, and he suddenly curled his body together.

In the next moment, he was pushed out by a terrifying sonic wave. While his body was still in mid-air, a large amount of body fluid spurted out from the gaps in the bio-implant, forming a cloud of blue-green gas.

This was the first time Blood Eye had been injured since entering the battle.

But this injury was not serious. The scream that Hector made was obviously similar to Lille's, and belonged to a special sonic attack. But Blood Eye was not the Blood Eye he was back then.

Through ten times the gravity training, the strength of Blood Eye's body at this moment had already greatly surpassed that of the past. And he was also wearing a full set of Orthos armor. How could the defense be summarized by just one word 'strong'? To put it bluntly, right now, he was even more outstanding than Hector's armor in terms of defense. This sonic wave, which was enough to shatter the ground within a radius of tens of meters, only damaged his skin.

However, in this way, Blood Eye's fierce combo was also interrupted. He could no longer defeat Hector in one go.

After staggering a few steps, Blood Eye finally stood still about a hundred meters away from Hector. The gaps in the armor flowed out with blue-green liquid, but it returned to its original state in an instant. A faint blue light flashed, and the core's prompt came from his mind.

“Bio-implant received a strong sonic weapon attack, energy absorption system operating. No internal damage. Slight cracks appeared in the muscle junction, repaired. Preliminary assessment, Sixth World level. Low threat.”

“Ch…” A cloud of white gas sprayed out from the air outlets on both sides of the bio-implant's mask. Blood Eye's eyes lit up.

The bio-implant, is it already this strong?

This was the first time he had officially fought against a mercenary subordinate, but he did not fall behind at all. This couldn't help but excite Blood Eye. He knew that the other party was a strong man who was about to become a trainee mercenary, and even Zero and Heng were not his opponents. He could suppress the other party, wouldn't that mean that his strength had also reached the level of a trainee mercenary?

“Hehe… hehehehe…”

A strange laughter suddenly sounded in the field. At the bottom of the deep pit, Hector slowly climbed up. His body was in a mess, covered with gravel and dust. But he exuded an extremely dangerous aura.

“I underestimated you, Blood Eye…” Hector smiled coldly, the armor's compound eyes slowly emitting a purple light…
