Colonial Suit

In the black mist, a terrifying figure vaguely revealed its outline.

Its size was similar to that of a normal person, but it sported a pair of enormous black wings on its back, shimmering with an indiscernible, crystalline material. Behind it, a scale-covered tail swayed gently, with glimpses of sharp, bony thorns. Though scales were sparse on its body, they were overlaid with a layer of black, armored carapace, with conical protrusions on its shoulders. The exposed parts of its limbs were covered in scales, and its hands and feet resembled the claws of a wild beast. Its head was encased in a hideous black crystal visor, its eyes gleaming with cruel, dangerous light.

"What… what is that!?"

Trius stared dumbfounded at the figure, unable to comprehend what this transformation meant. Was it a new type of armor? Or a drastic mutation of the human body?

But he didn't have time to ponder further, for the monster moved the moment he showed his astonishment.

With a single motion, it shattered his photon cage. In a flash of black light, the photon cage, which had concentrated all of Trius's power and been amplified countless times by the will of the universe, instantly crumbled into countless glittering fragments. Trius felt a sharp pain from his chest and involuntarily spat out a mouthful of crystalline light.

As his vision darkened, he only saw the monster rushing towards the sky… towards that enormous vortex.

The universe's will suddenly erupted, and the entire world seemed to freeze in that instant. Planets ceased their orbits, time stopped. Endless positive energy transformed into an indescribably huge bolt of lightning, slamming down on the monster!

At the same time, the immense pressure turned into a grinding disc, as if to crush the monster into dust in this void!

All of this happened in an instant. Trius only heard a deafening roar, and his body trembled violently, even its basic structure becoming unstable. The monster collided with the lightning, exploding into a dazzling ball of light in the sky.

Gods witness, Trius had never seen such a terrifying sight.

The entire heaven and earth seemed to be occupied by this giant lightning bolt, with one end connected to the vortex and the other grasped in the monster's hand. Its claws twisted in the lightning, seemingly on the verge of being dissolved by the positive energy, yet they couldn't be weakened in the slightest. On the contrary, the lightning bolt, which had concentrated endless positive energy, was being pulled down from the sky bit by bit.

The lightning, in its hands, seemed to become tangible, able to be kneaded and stretched. It slowly, bit by bit, pulled the lightning out of the vortex, while the surrounding pressure crushing down on it couldn't even breach its armor, being forcefully repelled by a layer of spreading black mist!

"The… the Abyss rules!"

Trius cried out uncontrollably…

What did he see?

He saw the true nightmare of legend! That terrifying place, the deepest and darkest part of the universe, the root of endless danger and destruction!

Only the Abyss rules could form a self-contained system without relying on the framework of the universe's rules, and only the Abyss rules could completely oppose the universe's rules, even destroying them. From the day the universe appeared, the Abyss was its antithesis, a true mortal enemy! The universe's will might be powerful, but suppressing the Abyss was extremely difficult!

Or rather, it not only couldn't do it, but might even be at a disadvantage, because the Abyss was the root of the universe's destruction!

Of course, it would have the means to deal with the universe's will!

In the void, the battle continued, but clearly Blood瞳 had the upper hand. The crushing force of the positive rules was almost ineffective against it, and with the support of the Abyss's power, it didn't need to rely on the universe to survive at all. At this moment, Blood瞳 was feral, lacking reason and thought, pursuing only its most primal instincts. Its current state was less like a simple Blood瞳 or a simple Abyss, and more like a combination of both.

A terrifying aura of the Abyss surged within it, and Blood瞳 felt as if it possessed infinite power. Not to mention pulling down this lightning, it could easily shake the sky and the universe!

Moreover, a wave of disgust welled up from the deepest part of its heart, a disgust for this world, a disgust for this universe. It wanted to destroy, to conquer!

The violent emotions stimulated it, and suddenly, it let out an uncontrollable roar. Its hands suddenly exerted force, actually tearing the lightning down. Then, black runes flashed fleetingly on its arms, actually corroding this huge, tangible lightning bolt. The lightning began to turn black, emitting a terrifying aura.

"This is impossible!"

Trius was going insane. He couldn't imagine what kind of existence could contend with the universe's will, and not only that, but also turn the universe's will into its own power. What was this if not robbery? But who was it robbing? The universe!?

It was too absurd!

Trius felt that his common sense was about to collapse, but he couldn't afford to think too much about it. Since he had decided to stand with the universe's will, he was the enemy of this monster. If he allowed this monster to develop, wouldn't he be killed?

This was absolutely unacceptable!

Shaken to the core, Trius suddenly rushed towards the sky, once again spewing out a massive amount of original light force, transforming it into an ultra-large spear.

This was formed from his core original light force and definitely possessed the power to harm Blood瞳.

The universe's will also seemed to sense Trius's actions. Suddenly, the rules changed, magnifying the light spear hundreds of times, making it look like a mountain peak!

On the battle line against the Abyss, the two were on the same side.

Unfortunately, although Trius was fast, Blood瞳 was even faster!

Almost at the same time as the light spear took shape, Blood瞳 had already flung out that black lightning, piercing it violently into the vortex in the sky. At the same time, it stretched out its arms and actually grabbed the void, tearing it as if it were tangible! With a loud crack, the entire heaven and earth shook. Trius immediately felt the universe's will blur, as if it had suffered an injury.

Not good!!

Trius's heart was about to break. He dared not hold back any longer! As he threw the light spear, he desperately urged his spirit, releasing all of his mental puppets in one breath, swarming towards Blood瞳 in a dense mass.

He could no longer delay. The universe's will was his last resort. If even the universe's will was harmed, wouldn't he be less than a hair on Blood瞳's head? If he didn't take advantage of the universe's will to help strengthen his attack now, was he going to wait until Blood瞳 drove away the universe's will before killing him?

Trius couldn't forget those eyes filled with ferocity and a sea of blood.

In an instant, the world changed color. The light spear, carrying a fierce whistling sound, pierced towards Blood瞳 along with thousands of mental puppets. The universe's will also rotated again, mobilizing the rules to seal off the space around Blood瞳.

The next moment, the light spear collided with Blood瞳, exploding into a dazzling sun in the heavens and earth!
