The next day, inside the meeting room.

Fendrel and his subordinates were having a meeting and all of them had a gloomy look. Because of some unforeseen incidents, the plan that Fendrel had was not put into action.

However, thankfully it didn't affect the whole plan. And even helped him a lot.

"So... What happened?" Fendrel asked lowly, though he already has an idea what it is.

"I don't know Your Majesty. After we arrived the two sides were already in a crazed battle. Especially on the enemy's side, they look like they are cursed." Lavender opens her mouth.

"That's right they were cursed, the good news is Romarod already has a spell to cure the curse"

"That's good!! Your Majesty!!" Franco exclaimed in excitement, he was so worried that those guys would remain cursed. If that happens his Majesty's plan would crumble.

Hearing it, everyone heaves a sigh of relief. But that didn't take long.

"However... The number is not satisfactory at all. Originally our plan was after the two sides sustain enough damage. We will then attack them by surprise to detain each party... And then the cursed thing happened, the other party becomes aggressive and crazy, that they wouldn't care about their own lives and attack like a crazed dog, making each party sustain a heavy loss."

Fendrel was helpless, he wants to obtain as many soldiers as he can for him to fight the two races that occupy this land.

However, because of the curse accident, he only got 300 people in each tribe. Furthermore, there were eight tribes in this conflict. So, all in all, he caught at least 2400. Although it sounds a lot, Fendrel was sure that this number was nothing compared to the two towns. Considering the other party send a thousand soldiers to him. He was not sure how many soldiers the other party had. However, since they send a thousand just to kill him a nobody to them, so they must have a lot of soldiers, he thought.

"Lavender, come with me. We are going to the prison, to visit Romarod." Fendrel suddenly said.

"Ye- yes, Your Majesty." she was startled because she was thinking of something when Fendrel suddenly talk. However, her face already returned to normal. So Fendrel didn't see her blushing, if not she would really die in embarrassment.

It didn't take long for the duo to arrive at the prison, the two guards then see them coming greeted them, and let them in.

The prison was not that big, and it was far from accommodating the two thousand plus prisoners. That's why each cell has too many people, which is sad to see. Well, Fendrel can't really do anything about it, he doesn't have any money left after he bought four magic canon.

Seeing Fendrel coming, Romarod and all the acolytes stop what they're doing to greet Fendrel. However, Fendrel raised his hand and stop them, and let them continue what they were doing.

"Continue what you are doing, I'm just here to see how much progress we made." Fendrel said after he got close to them.

"We already cured at least half of the cursed monsters, Your Majesty." Romarod said.

"That's great, just continue what you are doing."

"It's this way, Your Majesty. The first person we cured was the chief of the Harpies.." Romarod said, then ordered someone to lead His Majesty since he have something to do.
