"Little Bun...Don't run so fast!" Su Wan helplessly sighed while running after the little boy.

"Mama...Catch me! Haha..." The boy shouted in his tender voice followed by his delightful laugh and he started to run faster.

The little boy was running through the trees without any sense of direction while Su Wan lost her sense of direction as her only concentration was on the boy who was running like an Akhal-Teke horse.

"Little Bun...Don't go far...stop there…"

"Haha….Catch me...Mama!…"

No matter how much, Su Wan shouted to stop the little boy, but he didn't seem to listen to her as he was enthralled in his own world of running around.

The little boy didn't seem to stop nor did the path of the forest seem to end. They were running and running without being worn or drained out.

The sun was moving from east to west, crossing millions of clouds with the birds flying in the same direction as the sun.

All this time, neither the little boy and his laughing stopped nor did Su Wan stop chasing him and her worries over him.

However, suddenly, the darkness engulfed everywhere and that is when the laughter of the little boy came to a halt.

"Little Bun…" Su Wan called out to the little boy but he was nowhere to be found.

"Little Bun!" Su Wan's scream was echoing everywhere but the little boy was still nowhere in sight.

Su Wan didn't stop. She continued to call him and tried to find him despite the fact that there was nothing but darkness to be found everywhere.

No one knew how long had passed but then suddenly…

"Mama!!!"

Suddenly, a little boy's body slumped in front of her.

"Thud!!!"

The blood started to flow out with his face buried into the ground. His body was lying surrounded by a pool of blood and his soul seemed to have left his body.

"Little Bun!!!"

Su Wan screamed and abruptly woke up from her apparently long sleep.

"Wan…" Li Yan immediately strode to her and took her in his embrace. "Everything is alright. You are safe." He softly comforted.

"Our baby?" Su Wan subconsciously put her palm on her stomach.

"Our baby is completely alright. Everything is alright!"

Hearing his confirmation, Su Wan sighed in relief while she took deep breaths to calm down her heartbeats.

Then Su Wan realized that the sky was still dark and that was just her dream. "What's the time?" She asked.

"2 AM."

"Why haven't you slept then?"

Why didn't he sleep yet? Because he was worried that something would happen to her as his heart still wasn't able to calm down.

"I will sleep now! Are you hungry? Do you want to eat something?" Li Yan blurted a lie and changed the topic.

"Alright! You should sleep for some more time then."

Li Yan stood up to make her sleep by helping her lay down back but she tugged on his hand. "Sleep with me…"

His arms around her were providing a sense of security. However, now that Li Yan suddenly stood up, she was starting to feel uneasy.

"Okay!" Li Yan readily agreed with her demand and laid down with her.

As soon as Li Yan's head hit the sack, he started feeling drowsy which he couldn't fight against, and soon, he slept dreamlessly.

Su Wan also slept securely in his arms which were wrapped around her till the morning, when she felt movement in the room.

Su Wan opened her sluggish eyes to find her mother-in-law come in with an unknown man whom she hadn't seen before or maybe she had but she didn't remember it now.

"Xiao Wan, you are up! Do you want to eat something?"

Now that Mother Li asked, Su Wan indeed felt hungry. She meekly nodded and wanted to get up then she realized that she was tightly secured in someone's arms.

Li Yan seemed to be tired from yesterday's activity but he still didn't sleep till late at night. Now, he was in deep sleep but he didn't lose his grip around her. Su Wan didn't understand how she had slept in close proximity to him? In fact, she slept so well that no nightmares had come to trouble her sleep.

However, seeing that Mother Li and that man had seen them sleeping so close, Su Wan blushed as she didn't sleep in close proximity with him before. Though now Li Yan slept while hugging her, still there was a little bit of a gap was there.

Su Wan cautiously tried to remove his hand from her wrist which caused him to jolt up from sleep.

"What happened? Are you hurt somewhere? Did you have a nightmare again?" Instant questions came from him.

Su Wan was embarrassed to see him still close to her. In fact, now the gap between them had decreased to the point that even air couldn't pass through them. "I...I... alright. Mom brought us breakfast. I am hungry."

It was only then that Li Yan noticed his mother and father's presence in the room.

"Xiao Yan, come to have some breakfast. Why are you looking so tired? Didn't you sleep last night?" Mother Li asked while setting up breakfast on the table with her husband and ignoring the closeness between her son and daughter-in-law.

"Why don't you sleep for some more time? You look tired!" A concerned voice brought his attention back to Su Wan.

"No. I am alright. Let's have breakfast then we will call the doctor to do some more tests on you."

Li Yan immediately got down from the bed before she could say anything. With a sigh, Su Wan also fresh up, had breakfast, and did some tests.

Once all her tests were done and she didn't show any serious problem, then only Li Yan was ready to take her back home.

****

After a few days.

"I have no plan to come back. I have started my company here so I want to live here happily without any kind of pressure."

"Since Xiao Yan and Xiao Wan are living here, what will I do in City B without them? I also want to live here!"

Li Yan and Mother Li had clearly shown their disinterest in going back to Country X with Father Li.

"Xiao Yan, you don't have to work hard on this new company when you have Li Corporation and if you really want to go on with this company, you can merge it with Li Corporation. I have realized my mistake. I won't pressurize you again ever for anything. Please come back with me."

Hearing the words "Xiao Yan" from Father Li's mouth, Li Yan felt conflicting emotions but he didn't reveal those emotions and stood firm on his point to not go back.

Getting no reply from Li Yan, Father Li turned to Mother Li. "Old Shin, please come back to your home."

"My home is here with my son and daughter-in-law!"

Mother Li finally got her self-respect and self-confidence back, she didn't want to lose them to live a life worse than a slave.

Seeing that the mother and son pair continued to be stubborn, Father Li was feeling helpless but he couldn't do anything as he had been pursuing them every day still they had the same answer.

"Fine! Since you don't want to come! I will stay here with you!" Then Father Li came up with an idea which stunned Mother Li and Li Yan.

Though they didn't believe Father Li's words, his actions made them believe him.

With that, Father Li started to live with them and spent his entire day with his wife doing household chores which were completely contradictory to his nature and their expectations from him but this was the reality even though they were feeling awkward.
