"Darren, get up!" Amanda shouted.

Darren's heart was gloomy. He was not happy being criticized by Amanda, but he also knew that his decision was too unreasonable. But because of the male chauvinism, he had never admitted mistakes. He had never yielded to others. Even if he did, it was in the past. As a man, he had to be tough in front of a woman. So he didn't say anything and only kept an eye on Amanda.
