Filipino has type of English, the lazy English...
First Language Influence ---->
* This happens when your first language influences your second language.
First language influence affects four things:
1. Pronunciation
2. Intonation
3. Word Choice
4. Sentence Construction
In Filipino, there are 5 vowel sounds.
*In American English, there are 20 vowel sounds.
**And 12 pure vowel sounds
**8 diphthongs (combination of 2 vowel sounds)
