*The year is 2072, 3 years after the start of the war

I looked upon the skies filled with battlecruisers and jet fighters and stared down at the ground littered with destroyed tanks and dead men. Never the world thought there will be another war after the omic crisis. Never, the world thought why is there a 4th world war. Never, they looked back at what they did.

Rotten, indebted, corrupt, messy, greedy, filled with nonsense, ideas that shouldn't exist and power-hungry... That's what the world is today.

I'm tired of it, I hate it! A world dominated by failure, a once glorious planet ruled by democracy and peace now in ruin. War today is not a death sentence or a crime, it's liberation and chance for reborn.

They said that our society is based around freedom but,... "You can't trust freedom when it's not in your hands! "

My name is Mike G. Mundy and where I'm standing, is the ruin of China's capital, Beijing. Another country liberated, Russia is next to go.

On the distorted streets filled with smoke and destroyed buildings, a small boy walked amounts the dead while carrying on his shoulder a wounded Chinese soldier. The Chinese government has yet given the order to retreat or surrender and even though the war was lost, the Chinese forces kept on fighting with everything they have left.

Mike rapidly landed in front of the pair and advanced to help the injured soldier.

[Mike, while giving the man some pain killer] - "It's fine, I'm not here to harm you. Let me take you to a medical center. "

The man, impressed by the young man's kindness, took the medicine without any doubt.

[Soldier] (in pain) - "I'm Marshal Li Yi, I command the local army group and who are you, young man? "

[Mike] - "Mike, battle lead of Talon's armies, general of Talon's 22nd army. "

[Li Yi] - "I see that we are both the commander of the opposing force here... since the war is lost, I guess I will give you my armies' surrender. The casualties are high, it's pointless to struggle at this point, I don't want more unnecessary death. "

Mike stared at the man in shock and hastily, he alerted through his intercome his fleet's vice-admiral that the enemy declared a cease-fire.

[Mike, through the intercom in his helmet] - "The enemy declared a surrender, vice-admiral Hammoum, order all soldier to stop the fighting and start rescues toward the civilians and hurt enemy soldiers. "

[Li Yi] - "My men, they don't know about the surrender! "

Mike opened his communication system and bent over the general.

[Mike] - "What's your army's frequency code and MRS number? "

Soon after, every soldier from the Chinese army received the surrender call from their general. The conflict finally came to an end and China fell into Talon's hand. All the allied forces are being pushed back to Russia where the country stands as the last place in Asia and Europe unoccupied by Sniper's army.

Mike used the rest of the hour to rescue people and soldiers who were injured in the invasion.

But during this time, a rogue Chinese pilot decided to keep on fighting against Talon's jet fighters.

Seen the situation aboard the battlecruiser, the gunnery crew arranged their cannons in an attempt to gun down the rogue fighter. Unfortunately for the Chinese pilot, the rain of laser cannon shots soon hit his fighter's wings and caused him to crash. The man closed his eyes and prepared himself to accept his fate. Suddenly, he was saved by Mike who flew in and exited him from his crashing fighter's c.o.c.kpit.

Afterward, Mike slowly lowered the man to the ground and told him to leave the place.

[Pilot] (confused but thankful) - "Why did you save me? "

[Mike] - "Because you are fighting a war you don't deserve to be dragged in. "

When the dust dissipated, the pilot was fine without a scratch on him but Mike, on the other hand, had his leg injured. The crystals on his forearms extinguished its blue glow as he withdrew his shielding ability.

The gunner who fired the shot could even see Mike stare at him from below from his visor.

[the other gunner] - "Oh snap, man, you messed up! "

A few minutes later, Mike confronted the gunner by grabbing him by the tie and lifting the man in the air. The gunner shook in fear and panic and even peed himself while the young man stared menacingly into his eyes.

[Mike] (in a cold tone) - "If you fire again on the unarmed without a direct order, I will make sure that you will be the one standing in the blast! "

In anger, Mike threw the gunner on the floor and stepped away without any more delay.

In his march, he walked passed the medical bay but instead of calling the doctors to heal his wounded leg, he decided it would be best to let the medical staff work on the more severely injured men.

The young man found a place to seat, gathered around some disinfectant and bandaged his leg. While he's at it, the young man glanced at his watch to see the time. His eyes were wide open when he realized what date it is today. Even before applying the disinfectant on his wound, Mike rushed down the hallway toward the hangar.

In his path, he crossed an armoured executioner that suddenly called him out.

[Executioner] - "Hey, Mike, what's the rush, mate? "

[Mike] - "Something that I forgot, I'll catch up with you later, Karson. "

In front of the crewmen working at the hangar, Mike jumped into the abyss and activated his crystals. As everyone looked in confusion, Mike flew into the distance at a speed faster than a fighter jet.

*Inside the vice-admiral's office

[admiral McCain] - "Report, vice-admiral Hammoum, what's the matter? "

[Hammoum] - "Sir, Mike left the ship without a warning and he's wandering toward enemy territory. "

[McCain] (in a surprised manner) - "He what? "

*Inside Sniper's office

McCain abruptly entered the room after been permitted to intrude and hastily marched toward Sniper's desk.

[McCain] (respectfully) - "With all my due respect, sir, sorry to bother you at a time like this! But supreme commander Mike wandered into enemy territory without proper motives, please give us your instruction. "

The 5 generals and 5 admirals present in the room glanced at the sweating admiral in a mocking grin. One of the generals even couldn't hold it anymore and let out a slight laugh.

[McCain] - "What are you laughing about? What's so funny about it? "

[Admiral Valentine] (in a german accent) - "Sorry about thiz disrespectful act, fellow Azmiral McCain but you look surprised to learn a piece of news that we all gotz an hour ago. "

[McCain] - "My lord, what should we do then? "

Amidst the military commanders, sat Sniper, Talon's military supreme leader, who stared down at a satellite map that indicated Russia's current state. The supreme commander's face was hidden behind his signature red-white executioner helmet.

[Valentine] - "My Führer, should we tellz him about our plan? "

[Sniper] - "I know this may be the first time you meet me in person, admiral Valentine, but I'd like to be referred to as something else than the term "Führer". It reminds me of another dictator that shared an entirely different ideology than mine. This war is not Mein Kampf but the battle of the people. "

[Valentine] (in a respectful voice) - "Yes, supreme leader, I apologize for thiz misconception. "

[Sniper] - "Now, McCain, as for Mike, we'll have to wait and see. He will determine if we should end this war in Asia now or wait. "

[McCain] - "What does that mean, my lord? "

[Sniper] - "It means that he will be the one to light up the flame of the war depending on his action. Your fleet is currently in repair so that's why we didn't invite you. "

Beside him, the secretary handed to Sniper a file report of the army and air force status.

[secretary Judge] - "Sir, the armies are ready. 5th army, 9th army, 11th army, 1st army, 12th army, 21st army, the 5th army and 2nd army. 6th, 4th, 7th, 12th special XX armies. Aircraft carriers: The Continental, The Compass, The Ravager, The Conqueror and many others. Battlecruisers: The Inquisitor and The Dissector and many more to name. Plus an extra of 3 200 000 soldiers, 35 770 jet fighters and 50 780 bombers all at your command. "

[Sniper] - "Good, gentlemen, you'll soon witness the end of this war. As for you, McCain, I have other assignments for you. "
