Hi, welcome to the final volume of the main storyline of the Crystalline Universe series.

Before we dive into the details, I'd like to thank you for reading this far into my story. I never expected my weird little fanfic to grow and gain views like this but thanks to you, this fictional story didn't become a failed attempt of mine at writing fanfic. SETTING:

The brutal Judge managed to take control of the empire due to the power vacuum left by Sniper's untimely death. The men around him didn't like him but they had to obey him since he controls the Armato-XX. Terror will be the menu of the day for every single person living in the empire. A megalomaniac obsessed with Sniper's ideology, people referred him to Himmler for his policies of extermination toward the people he considered enemies of the state. A mad tyrant without regard to the lives of the populace, people called him the Stalin of modern days for his well-being and fortune paid for using the blood of the innocents.

The worst news of them all is the one concerning the Judge's ability.

Out of devotion and respect for Sniper, the Judge refused to use his ability when around him but now that Sniper is gone, the terrifying nature of his ability was revealed to the world. The Judge possessed an ability that is classified in the unnatural category of abilities.

Abilities such as Karson's punches, Mergiann's bubbles or Mazzatello's gravity manipulation are considered physical abilities. Abilities such as Kadyn's mind connection or Mike's seismic location are considered mental abilities. Finally, abilities that tap into the unknown such as Azur's Blue dream ability that sends her sapphires into a wormhole or Ellie's pocket dimension ability are considered unnatural abilities.

The Judge possessed an ability that defies the laws of the crystals. His ability allows him to cancel out all types of abilities within his radius of effect, meaning that all abilities will be nullified as long as their effect comes in contact with the Judge's ability. This is a bad piece of news for Mike. If he wants to overthrow the Judge, he'll have to do it the old-fashioned way with the help of the military. The radius of effect of the Judge's ability is 1000 km or 622 miles for American readers.

With this information in mind, we shall continue our journey into the final chapter of Mike's story.

SIDENOTE:

Now, I don't want to disappoint certain of you waiting for the new volume to begin but I have to announce the obvious problem that I'm facing right now. You see, my very old chapters are... well, not very appealing. They contain a massive amount of grammar mistakes, inconsistencies with the storyline and bad writing in general and I want to go back and make changes to many of them so new readers to my book don't get disgusted by the looks of them. I need to make sure that every single one of them is an official chapter marked with a star.

Feel free to read the updated chapters from the very beginning of my story as many of them are completely rewritten. Do not worry about the plot holes that could be caused by the remade chapters since I'm careful enough to restructure them without changing the story as a whole.

But don't worry about having to wait forever to read the new story! If I do have some extra time, I will post a new chapter to the new volume.
