Crystalline Universe: Team Fortress 2/ Overwatch

*NOTE: the current story takes place 10 months after the late chapter « Dusty despair (part 1) »

" I hate to admit this, but I want to beat the crap out of the mad man. What can I say, I survived 10 months up until now with my generator damaged. Life's hard around here, I know the mad man would camp the toilet, the kitchen and the prison-house knowing that I would show up at these places. He even made himself some allies so he could catch me with more ease. Talking about food... "

Kadyn paused for a second in her writing. Silently using her hand, she smacked the ground and caught a rat in her palm. Cutting the rat with her crystal tail, she quickly started a small fire with a piece of wood.

Reopening her diary, she continued:

" I ate rat for dinner, worms for supper and drink pipe water used for mining, judge me if you want. The hole's currently deep enough for me to climb up to the guards' residence up there. I have yet to figure out how would I get the mad man up there with me and how can we escape once we get up there. I hope today will not be a bad day. "

Slowly crawling up the tunnel, She slowly made her way up to the buildings up on the mountain wall. Climbing out of the wind conduct, Kadyn carefully made her way inside the facility searching for the boss's office. Walking amount the guards, she soon found herself in front of the boss's office. Taking note in her small notebook, she made sure that the route was clear as ever. Ending her expedition, she slowly descended the tunnel back to her hideout. Hearing the second bell ring, it was dinner time for the prisoners. As the labours made their way to the kitchen house, Kadyn quietly came out of her hole preparing her next move. The place was quiet as a graveyard, taking a small knife she stole from a guard, she hastily ran toward the elevator leading to the mining shaft. Pushing the down button on the control panel, she dropped to the underground where the miners were on break. Quietly walking amount the resting miners, she rapidly grabbed a piece of mineral and ran back to the elevator. The mineral is called Novarotium, the material used to construct artilleries for battlecruisers. Its explosive power can bring down even the toughest of sh.i.p.s and crack the toughest armour. The mineral can be ignited by friction with something harder than itself. Placing the piece in a contraption, Kadyn removed the crystal inside her c.h.e.s.t and place it inside. The bombe was done, all that was left it's to put the plan into action.

By detonating the bombe later tonight, the explosion will set panic and chaos inside the camp and during the alarm, she will knock out the mad man, drag him to a cargo ship and escape. For ten months, she dug, for ten months, she endured the pain and suffering without saying a word.

Finally resting on the floor, she closed her eyes and relaxed for a few minutes. Suddenly, a man appeared and sat beside her.

Kadyn (reopening her eyes) - Oh, it's you...

Man - Yeah, you know, I should thank you for helping me out.

Kadyn - It's fine, you deserved it after all.

Man - You know, I have never seen someone beautiful like you.

Kadyn- Really?

Man - I'm telling the truth.

Man - You know, you dug for 10 months and I kept it a secret. Don't you think I should get something in return?

Kadyn - What do you mean?

Man (Putting his arm on Kadyn's back) - You know what I mean! The gang (The mad man's gang) was searching for you and I denied your presence under my bed. I should receive an award for this right?

Kadyn - Freedom is all you can get! Now, take your hand off me!

Man (trying to kiss her) - Obey or I will tell them about you, I haven't touched a woman in years, I want you!

Kadyn, using her crystal tail, slashed the man through the arm. Blood spat everywhere while the man screamed in pain and promptly ran outside the building. Now covered in red, Kadyn stood still as she knew what will happen next. Running toward the exit, she swiftly ran toward the kitchen house where she hid the explosive device. Once inside, Kadyn looked around, seeing no one in sight, she continued toward the janitor's cabin where she put the detonation switch. All of sudden, three men jumped out of the cabin and grabbed her arms and legs while holding her back to the dinner table. Opening the main entrance, the mad man entered the place with the bleeding man to his side.

The mad man (in a sadistic voice) - Well, well, well, what did we catch here?

Kadyn - Let me go, you bastard!

The mad man - No, no, no, we are going to enjoy this. You managed to escape for 5 months since I last caught you. Now that I finally got you, I'm gonna enjoy torturing you!

The mad man (holding the man by the shoulder) - You told me about her location and her plot, I must thank you for all this.

Walking up to Kadyn, the mad man ripped off her remaining clothes and pushed the man toward her.

The mad man - Enjoy yourself!

Man - Thank you, mister!

Kadyn, seeing her situation, was suddenly reminded of her past where she was still a slave. The rage slowly built up inside her as the man approached her. Her eyes were filled with flame as the man grabbed her t.i.t.s.

Kadyn (enraged) - No, you don't!

The three other men can only watch in horror as the rapist's head fell on the floor along with his body. Using her crystal tail, she proceeded to cut the throat of the three men holding her in place.

In a few acrobatic moves, she jumped in front of the mad man and with a fiery rage, she kicked him in the face which sent him flying out of the building.

Kadyn (angry) - You can beat me, you can torture me but my body, I only allow one man in this world to touch it, you bloody wanker!

The mad man (punching her) - I'm gonna beat you to death, you little bitch!

Kadyn (in her mind) - (I'm going to die like this? I guess maybe this is the end for me...)

The mad man (punching her) - Die! Die, already!

The crowd - Do it! Yeah!

Kadyn (In her mind) - (No, Mike's last wish is for me to live, he wanted me to live, he wanted me to LIVE!)

Grabbing the mad man's hand, she snapped his arm until the bone can be heard cracking.

The mad man (in pain) - Aaaargh!

Using her finger, she stabbed the mad man in the eye socket while with her knee, she kicked the mad man the abdomen. The mad man tried to attack her again only to receive a punch to the ear that rendered him deaf. Launching the mad man to the floor, she proceeded to jump on him and barrage his face with punches from all directions.

Kadyn (while smashing the mad man's face) - YOU LIKE THIS? YOU LIKE THIS? THIS IS HOW I FEEL! DIE, YOU BASTARD!

Kadyn (still punching) - Give me back Mike! GIVE ME BACK MIKE!

The mad man (with blood in his mouth) - hahaha! HaHaHa! HAHAHA!

The mad finally laid on the floor silenced, he soon stopped moving and his eyes slowly closed. As the crowd cheered, Kadyn cried with her head facing the floor and her hands bloodied with the blood of the man she loved. Disappearing into the crowd with her invisibility power, she soon regained her hideout in tear. Deciding that it will be best for her to leave this place at once, she packed everything she had and prepared to escape.

Climbing inside the hole, she kept on crying her eyes out. Suddenly, missing her grasp, she fell hitting a rock that pushed the piece of metal in her abdomen deeper inside her generator.

System: Status critical, shut down required.

Before she could do anything, her system failed on his own and slowly she fell to the ground. While looking at her bloody hand, she smiled as she remembered all the good times she lived with Mike before everything went black for her. Her lifeless body laid peacefully on the soil as her crystal tail's light slowly faded away leaving the tunnel in darkness.
