The war was just declared on Russia, the last standing country in the entirety of the European and Asian battlegrounds. Since all the vanquished countries retreated the most they could of their militaries to the giant of Europe and Asia, Talon would have to fight an extended war.

But fighting an extended war never was in Sniper's intentions. He knew that the biggest mistake made by military commanders throughout history was to fight an extended war. The Russian war will be what he would call "operation peaceful tyranny". In other words, the war would only take 3 days.

Vice-admiral Hammoum's 22nd fleet and the 13th army led the charge by attacking the forces guarding the Russian border through Mongolia.

The first wave of bombing raids started with 12 squadrons of bombers and 14 squadrons of fighters, up to a total of 528 aircraft.

The bombs dropped like rain upon the cities, destroying houses and enemy positions. The army of 300 000 men soon followed the bombing to clean up the remaining forces on the ground.

The current casualty rate is 1 dead Talon soldier for 20 dead allied soldiers.

The modern blitzkrieg tactic proved to be more effective than during WWII against enemy defensive positions. The city of Kyzyl soon declared surrender to Hammoun's forces with around 890 000 allied and civilian casualties and 91 000 prisoners.

The other 4 Talon fleets quickly formed a defensive perimeter around Hammoun's fleet by taking down the city of Irkutsk, Ulan Ude, Abaza and Blysk.

All the actions were accomplished in the spend of 6 hours, with minimal Talon casualty in the process.

As panic spread through the country, the government ordered all forces throughout the lands to repress the incoming invasion. Both sides were exhausted, 3 years of war, 3 years of brutalities, 3 years of a war no one ever was prepared for except for Talon.

The order was the last big mistake made by the government since, hours after the allied armies departure, Talon's 26th, 19th, 25th and 15th fleets massacred through the coastal defences in Okhotsk and took in hostage the Russian East cities.

The situation was more than dire, the allied forces were now facing off against Talon forces that are closing upon them like a huge mouth.

All of a sudden, in moments of distress, Talon's 2nd fleet attacked the city of Smolensk only about 400km away from the Russian capital of Moscow. The government and the allied now realized that the invasion was a distraction and now Talon can freely advance toward the capital.

Since their fleets were so far away from Moscow, the Allied commanders agreed on deploying the home fleet of Moscow to fight off the invaders. But this was just another trick up on Sniper's sleeve. Once the home fleet engaged in a fierce battle with the 2nd fleet, admiral Valentine's 5th fleet easily flew through the empty lands with little to none resistance to Moscow.

The military commanders in Moscow finally understood the entirety of Sniper's plan when they stared in horror at the 5th fleet upon the skies of Moscow.

The sh.i.p.s' shadow reigned upon the St-Basil's cathedral while the battlecruiser's laser cannons destroyed the remaining defences who tried desperately to defend against the invading forces.

The allied commanders were in a total state panic. At this stage, in despair, one of the commanders called the home fleet back to Moscow but in its retreat, the home fleet's mothership was destroyed by the 2nd fleet's fighters, essentially dooming the home fleet.

[Valentine] - "It's up to you, Mike, do your best! "

The hatch from below the ship opened up and Mike flew into the battlefield. The young man landed in front of the droid army who stood like hundreds story buildings in front of him.

At first, the droids pilots laughed at Mike who thought he could stand up to them but soon, they realized what kind of power they are dealing with when Mike blasted a huge hole inside one of them with a single punch.

*Inside the Moscow Kremlin

A general entered the military meeting room and closed the steel door behind him. Putin and several other country leaders sat around a small table where a map of Moscow was displayed.

[General Winston, while pointing his finger on the map] - "The enemy is currently advancing toward the governmental building, their ultimate weapon, commander Mike is destroying our defence droids, we won't have long. "

[Viktor Putin] - "The 12th and 13th fleets will come in reinforcement, they will take care of Valentine's 5th fleet. They have Rev. troupers, they can hold Mike off. "

One of the Russian generals glanced at Winston who hesitated before reopening his mouth.

[Winston] (in a trembling voice) - "Mister president... the 12th and 13th fleets... "

[General Vitaly] (in a composed voice) - "The 13th fleet surrendered to Talon and the 12th fleet was sabotaged by traitor aboard the sh.i.p.s. "

The president slowly removed his glasses while trembling in anger and rage.

[Viktor Putin] (in a calm manner) - "Marshal of the Russian federation Alyosha, general of the army Ivan, minister of defence Lev and marshal of the air force Maks shall stay. The rest, take your leave, please. "

The rest of the command staff immediately left the conference room without hesitation and when all of them took their leave, the door was shut tight behind them.

[Viktor] (in an enraged tone) - "What is the meaning of this? The army is still present on maps, how are they wiped out or surrendered? "

[Lev] - "Mister president, our radars and satellite systems were all sabotaged a few hours ago! This map only displays what was there 3 hours ago. "

[Viktor Putin] (in anger) - "What do you mean sabotaged? Everything was sabotaged! Are our defences and men made out of butter? "

The president was in such a frenzy that his voice could even be heard outside the metal door.

[Viktor Putin] - "I ordered a defensive counter-attack! That is an ORDER! Now disobedience fills the ranks? I should probably just purge the rank like Stalin! "

[Alyosha] - "Mister president, we did all we could do to prevent... "

[Viktor Putin] (in a fit of rage) - "Shut the f.u.c.k up! Such incompetence amongst the ranks, at this rate, even a homeless guy could infiltrate our building and assassinate me with a butter knife! "

[Chinese president Deng Xian] - "Calm down, mister president, there is no need for such an outburst. "

[Viktor Putin] (in a more enraged voice) - "Don't f.u.c.k.i.n.g touch me, you cowardly peasant! You abandoned your own country and people behind to save your own skin! "

Shocked by the president's reaction, the Chinese president sat down in silence.

Putin smashed his fist on the table while his red face burned like a bomb that's about to explode.

[Viktor Putin] (in an anger-filled expression) - "Such monstrous betrail of the Russian people! All those years of greatness and our great country are ruined by incompetence and failure. But don't worry, these traitors will pay with their blood! "

The room remained in dead silence for a few seconds while the ground shook due to the city's bombing by Valentine's army.

[Viktor Putin] - "Declare surrender to Talon already! This war is lost, our capital is taken, so don't let those brave soldiers on the frontline suffer anymore. The United States didn't even blink when they saw our situation, they were too heartless to know what pain we endured. "

The commanders sweated nervously upon hearing the president's orders.

[Viktor Putin] - "You may now evacuate the building. As for me, I shall stay here until the very end, I won't run, I will stand for the Russian people. Do what you must, for I'm no longer in charge. "

Valentine's aircraft carrier approached the Moscow Kremlin and pointed its guns toward the governmental building.

In a panic, the men left the conference room except for Putin and the four high ranking members of the army who understood their mistakes and decided to accept the full consequence of their incompetence.

Putin stood up and stared at the massive cruiser without fear through the glass windows.

On the other hand, Valentine was stared back at Putin from his ship bridge received news of the Russian surrender.

[Valentine, while holding the surrender treaty on his hands] - "So they declare us the winner? "

[Officer] - "Yes, sir, I received it a minute ago from the Russian government! "

[Valentine, with an evil smirk] - "How ironic, the Russian forced Germany into surrender about 125 years ago but now, us, a fleet mostly composed of German troupes, forced Russia into surrender. "

Valentine looked at the Moscow Kremlin with eyes filled with malice.

[Valentine] - "But a war isn't without humiliation for the losing side. "

[Officer] - "What are your orders, sir? "

[Valentine] - "Fire at will at the Moscow Kremlin! Reduce it to ruin like what they did with the Reichstag building a hundred years ago. "

Upon seeing the cannons readying for fire, Putin closed his eyes and prepared himself to face his ultimate fate. But just before any of the guns could open fire, Mike suddenly jumped into the bridge through the window.

[Mike] - "Hold your fire! Not a single person on this ship moves! "

As Mike ordered, all the guns stood ready but did not fire a single shot. Mike approached Valentine and stared right his eyes in frustration.

[Mike] - "They already declared surrender! What's not clear about that? "

[Valentine] - "None of your business! "

[Mike] - "It's over! Officer, send out help for the wounded down there! "

[Officer] - "Yes, sir! "

[Valentine] - "Don't interfere with my business, this is my fleet, those are German. This ship represents our nation, you have no business commanding around here. "

[Mike] - "I see the German people as honourable as all other people but don't make the people think of the German as the bad guys again. "

[Valentine] - "War comes with destruction, you cannot deny it! "

[Mike] - "This fleet is composed of honest German men but their commander is a dumbass who wants to repeat history. I will not see you again for a long time but if ever you make everyone look bad, I will deal with you personally. "

With that said, Mike left the bridge through the window and headed back to Nepal to meet up with Sniper.

[Valentine] (in a whisper) - "I want a Talon flag and German flag raised on the building's top after when Mike's gone. "

*Somewhere else

The news broadcast announced that Russia has declared surrender and that most of the world is under Talon occupation and control.

In front of the TV screen stood an old man in scientist gear and clothing.

The TV soon showed Sniper making a speech to the people under Talon's military control.

[Sniper] - "The last country, Russia has fallen but this is news to tell you that you are slaves to the new order. But Talon promises you all... "

The old man's hands clenched into fists as he kept on listening to the broadcast.

[Sniper] - "...That all citizens will be free to live their old lifestyle... "

The scientist shook in anger and frustration as he kept on hearing Sniper's speech.

[Sniper] - "... There will be no oppression, fake promises or corruption. The new governmental system will guaranty help, jobs, economic stability. Today, it's not your imprisonment but the world's rebirth. Freedom cannot be trusted if it's not in your hand but I'll give it to the people! "

[Ethan] (in an anguished voice) - "You told them lies, as you did to me. "

The old man turned away from the television and stepped into the shadow of his laboratory.
