Chapter 155: High Ambitions (4)

He Han pretended to be oblivious. “What sort of plans?”

Old Madam He waws anxious. She didn’t beat around the bush and went straight to the topic.

Otherwise, based on her grandson’s character, she won’t get an answer out of him even till morning.

“Han.”

Old Madam He sighed. “You know that granny is already getting old. I want to see you start a family.”

“Granny knows you young people aren’t in a hurry about this, but it’s been so many years and you haven’t even brought home a girlfriend.”

Even though He Han was in the entertainment industry, he was always clean of any gossip.

It was hard to blame Old Madam He for being in such a hurry. After all, she’s not old-fashioned. She just hopes there’s going to be someone to watch over He Han and vice versa.

He Han became independent quite early, and living alone wasn’t easy either.

Old Madam He said, “Have you made any considerations yet?”

After she said that, Old Madam He thought about it. Would she have to remind him more often?

But unexpectedly, He Han did not remain silent as usual. He suddenly spoke.

“Sure.”

He Han’s calm voice emerged in the room.

Before Old Madam He could react, she went on to nag.

“It’s hard for you to live out there alone. Granny just wants…”

“What? Sure?” Old Madam He raised her head abruptly, her face filled with disbelief.

The look on He Han’s face softened considerably. He smiled and repeated what he just said.

“I said sure, I can make a consideration.”

Old Madam He tossed everything aside and quickly probed, “Have you found a girl you like?”

What surprised her even more was, He Han did not deny it.

He nodded. “I’m pursuing her right now.”

He Han added, his tone sincere. “She’s a very nice girl.”

Old Madam He was overjoyed. Her grandson has finally found love!

But then she began to think. He Han had never dated anyone before. Does he know how to pursue a girl?

She struggled for a moment. “Then, do you need granny to teach you?”

He Han had a bitter smile on his lips. He rejected the enthusiastic Madam He.

“Don’t worry. I’ll bring her home to see you when the time comes.”

The next day, Old Madam He reverted that to Cheng Ping.

He Han’s mother died early, but he and Cheng Ping were close.

Old Madam He couldn’t settle down. She was worried.

She was afraid that He Han wouldn’t be able to handle it so she quickly told Cheng Ping.

Cheng Ping also paid quite a lot of attention to He Han’s affairs.

Cheng Ping called He Han over to her home that day.

“When did it start?”

Cheng Ping had wanted to introduce Ye Fan to He Han, but unexpectedly, Ye Fan already has a child.

Cheng Ping rested her ideas.

Now, He Han said that he was pursuing someone!

However, he didn’t reveal anything about that girl at all.

He Han knew it would be impossible to hide it, but he wasn’t planning to either.

“A few months ago.”

Cheng Ping thought to herself, isn’t that during “Lurking in the Bund”?

And it was during the time when He Han was working with Ye Fan.

However, she didn’t think it was possible that He Han was talking about Ye Fan. He didn’t even know that Dudu was Ye Fan’s son.

What’s more, the two of them never interacted in private.

Cheng Ping didn’t ask in detail. She believed that He Han would be able to handle everything himself.

At that moment, after a quick knock on the door, Dudu walked out of the room.

“Auntie.” Dudu called out in a sweet voice.

Dudu was just playing with Yan Xiaoxiao in the room when he seemed to have heard Uncle’s voice.

So, he came out of the room.

Unexpectedly, Uncle really was here.

Dudu quickly ran over to him. “Uncle.”

Dudu’s eyes lit up. That Uncle who lifted him up finally came.

Dudu grabbed onto He Han’s leg and looked up at him.

His eyes were like two bright jewels. Clear without any impurities.

He Chan leaned over to look at Dudu.

When he did, their eyes met.

There was a faint glimmer in He Han’s eyes. He leaned a little closer and kept on staring into Dudu’s eyes.

Dudu tilted his head to the side. Why does Uncle keep staring at him?

A confused little voice sounded, “Uncle?”

He Han was a little distracted as he looked at Dudu. Looking into those eyes felt like déjà vu.

An impossible thought suddenly popped up in He Han’s head.

At that moment, Ye Fan’s firm but exceptionally clear eyes flashed across his mind.

Ye Fan. Ye Duo.

Were those two names really coincidences?

He Han’s gaze deepened. He suddenly spoke up and asked.

He softened his voice.

“Dudu, what is your mama’s name?”

Dudu did not notice the changes in his mood. Scratching his head, he stared at He Han with his round eyes.

The voice of a three-year-old child was soft

“Dudu’s mama is called Ye Fan.”
