Hu Manjun had played a part in a movie as an assassin. In the movie, Hu Manjun just so happened to wear a body of black like her too.

The assassin was icy cold and wore an incomparably indifferent temperament. No matter when, she maintained a gloomy look.

Ye Fan thought that since she chose this outfit, it was the same as choosing to be an assassin. Her appearance and expression needed to perfectly adjust to the role.

Ye Fan seemed to understand the meaning behind this stage.

If the clothes you picked didn’t match your role or temperament, it’d barely have a satisfactory effect when shooting the set costume photos.

Ye Fan knew that she made the right decision.

She closed her eyes as the makeup artist applied makeup for her. She was slowly done creating the look.

It was complete.

Ye Fan opened her eyes to see her handsome face.

She had a pair of pitch-black but shining eyes, carrying a bit of a stern look from the outer corner of her eyes.

She had a small chin coupled with a thin pair of pale lips which revealed a cold aura.

There was still a portion of people whose makeup wasn’t done. Ye Fan sat down and quietly thought.

If she was an assassin, what would her expression be right now?

Ye Fan’s eyes darkened and there was a cold glint inside.

Although she wore no expression, the tip of her brows was raised to reveal a biting cold aura.

Ye Fan smiled. This was the effect she was looking for.

Ye Fan looked at the makeup artist and politely stated, “Sorry for troubling you.”

Yue Shao also finished her makeup. She turned to look at Ye Fan, freezing slightly.

Ye Fan wore the same expression but her temperament was completely different.

Icy cold.

Yue Shao couldn’t describe it. Right now, she found Ye Fan to be very unfamiliar and shocking.

Ye Fan suddenly laughed and her cold aura dissipated.

She recovered her indifferent expression again.

Yue Shao let out a relieved sigh. She probably misimagined it. It was unclear why but she felt a bit ill at ease.

Everyone finished applying their makeup and Qi Shu brought everyone to the filming location.

The first one up was Chang Su.

Chang Su was worthy of being an experienced senior actress. She was older than everyone present so she naturally had more abundant experiences.

Once the cameras were on her, she immediately became immersed.

Ye Fan stood by the side and paid attention to the filming too.

Everyone had changed their clothes. Ye Fan recognized the origin of some outfits.

Each outfit represented a role.

Since Hu Manjun debuted as a young lady, she had been assiduous and filmed countless works, leaving many classical movies for the audience.

These clothes represented Hu Manjun’s role in every work.

Ye Fan knew this because she had spent the night watching all of Hu Manjun’s movies before attending this reality show.

In order to better analyze the characters’ personalities, Ye Fan even watched some movies several times.

Chang Su played the role of the final generation empress.

She wore western style clothes. Though she was just standing there simply, everyone could see her emotions through her eyes.

She seemed to be deep in thought, her expression complicated.

Chang Su slightly straightened her back. Even after experiencing a series of shock, she still kept the elegance and gracefulness of a daughter from a noble house.

While watching, Ye Fan took note of her acting skill. She hoped to recognize her insufficiency from everyone in order to improve herself.

“I knew the pictures would come out great.”

The directors were at the filming location too. They were really satisfied upon seeing Chang Su’s performance. Even Xiong Lan who was known for his sharp words praised her too.

“Yue Shao, your turn.”

Chang Su had finished filming and stepped to the side. The director had Yue Shao prepare.

After seeing Chang Su’s filming, Yue Shao wasn’t as calm as she was. Even more, she was the next person after her. The latter’s performance affected her more or less.

But Yue Shao thought that Ye Fan wasn’t any better than her, so she calmed down again.

Ye Fan stood not far from them. Yue Shao carelessly glanced at her.

She knitted her brows subconsciously. Ye Fan reacted differently from her imagination.

She didn’t see any sort of panic on Ye Fan.

Ye Fan’s black outfit was extraordinary too. Paired with her cold temperament, it was surprisingly attractive.

Ye Fan stood there quietly and that alone, gave Yue Shao a strong sense of pressure.

Yue Shao paused. She started panicking again.

Ye Fan had been paying attention to her so she naturally saw the gaze.

She slightly curled her lips up, not placing Yue Shao’s gaze in her heart.
