He Han’s eyes were deep and gloomy. He seemed to be looking somewhere afar but seemed to be concentrated on Ye Fan at the same time.

His thin lips parted and he suddenly curled his lips up.

“We’ll see each other in the future.”

After the competition, Ye Fan returned home.

The night of, Ye Fan received He Han’s call again.

But not long from before, she had just met He Han.

Ye Fan picked up the call. “He Han.”

“Are you home?”

He Han’s voice rang from the other side.

Ye Fan slightly furrowed her brows. She couldn’t explain what was strange.

But He Han asked the question naturally as if the two had known each other for a while.

Ye Fan answered, “Do you need something?”

He Han didn’t mind Ye Fan’s faint tone either. Instead, he lightly chuckled. Ye Fan’s attitude didn’t influence his mood in the least bit.

From this, it seemed like Ye Fan was the immature one while He Han didn’t mind.

He Han exclaimed, “I want to talk to Dudu.”

Ye Fan rubbed her brows and dropped her phone to the side.

Ye Fan said to Dudu kneeled by the side watching the goldfishes, “Dudu, your Uncle He is looking for you.”

Dudu was originally staring fixated on the goldfish but he immediately got up from his wooden stool upon hearing Ye Fan’s words.

He wore his little slippers and ran over, click-clacking.

Dudu’s eyes were bright and sparkling, a smile floating on his face.

Dudu’s running footsteps rang on the other side. He Han could hear it clearly. A smile couldn’t help but appear on his face.

He could hear Dudu’s voice from the phone in the next second.

“Uncle, are you coming to Dudu’s home?”

Dudu said excitedly.

He Han answered, “I have time tomorrow but I’m not sure whether your mother has time or not.”

He Han clearly knew that Ye Fan had put the speaker on but he had to beat around the bush and ask her through Dudu.

Dudu lifted his head to look at Ye Fan.

Ye Fan did have time but He Han was coming to her home that soon?

She hadn’t even mentally prepared herself yet.

But on her way home, Ye Fan already told Dudu that she had time for the next few days and that she could spend it with him.

She clearly couldn’t deny it now that she’d already exclaim it.

Dudu glanced at Ye Fan before responding for her, “Mommy told Dudu before that she will spend the day with Dudu tomorrow.”

Just like before, Dudu professionally sold out his mother again.

He Han meaningfully sighed. “Oh, I see.”

He Han clearly only said a few words but Ye Fan kept feeling like something was off.

He Han stated, “Then uncle will come tomorrow. Dudu, remember to wait for me.”

Dudu responded childishly but he acted proper, “Dudu will definitely wait for uncle to come.”

After hanging up, Ye Fan dragged the excited Dudu to the bathroom to shower.

After showering, it was about time for Dudu to sleep.

Ye Fan leaned by Dudu’s side and lightly patted his stomach, starting to coax him to sleep.

Although Dudu closed his eyes tightly, his trembling long eyelashes gave him away. He clearly didn’t fall asleep.

Ye Fan didn’t know whether to cry or laugh. She bent over slightly and asked softly, “Honey, why aren’t you sleeping?”

Dudu opened his eyes right then. The moonlight outside shone in and Dudu’s eyes sparkled.

“Mommy, uncle is coming to our home tomorrow.”

Ye Fan responded, “Yeah. Dudu, you should sleep soon then. You’ll get to see uncle tomorrow.”

Dudu nodded his head and closed his eyes again.

Not long later, Dudu opened his eyes again.

“Mommy, mommy, I get to see uncle tomorrow.”

Ye Fan was helpless. She patted Dudu’s head. “Yes.”

When Dudu tried opening his eyes to look for Ye Fan again, she softly covered Dudu’s eyes with her hands.

He blinked and his long eyelashes tickled Ye Fan’s palm.

Ye Fan pinched Dudu’s nose with her free hand.

“Quickly go and sleep, little chubby bun.”

Because Dudu’s nose was pinched, his voice was stuffy.

“Goodnight mommy.”
