Daily Life of a Villain’s Mother
Chapter 334
Ye Fan didn’t think that anything was amiss. She saw Dudu behaving awkwardly beside him as she bent her lips and smiled, “He Han, you haven’t managed to coax him yet?”
He Han was helpless, “Probably because he has the same temperament as you. To be fair, I think he is more stubborn.”
Dudu shook his little head and stretched out his chubby arms, “Mama.”
Ye Fan picked up Dudu and asked He Han casually, “You still have to film tomorrow, so when are you leaving?”
He Han’s eyes kept following Ye Fan, “I wanted to wait until you came home.”
He knew that Ye Fan’s emotions were uncontrollable when she sang ‘Light’, so he wanted to stay behind to see her. Now, it seems that Ye Fan has recovered.
Ye Fan nodded, “I’ll look after Dudu, so go back quickly.”
He Han said solemnly, “Okay.”
At this time, Dudu was already falling asleep in the warm embrace. Ye Fan rubbed Dudu’s little head and softly induced him.
“Papa is leaving, does Dudu want to say goodbye?”
Dudu’s little hand grabbed the air subconsciously before it dropped onto his mother’s frame. He laid in Ye Fan’s arms and said two words in a daze, “Papa…”
It seemed that because he was too tired, after Dudu finished speaking, he fell asleep.
Ye Fan and He Han looked at each other and smiled.
This stubborn and awkward little cutie.
The next morning, as soon as Ye Fan got up, she received a text message from He Han.
“Are you awake? I’m downstairs.”
Yesterday, Dudu told Ye Fan that he wanted to go to Sister Xiaoxiao’s house, saying that he hadn’t seen the auntie and sister for a long time.
Ye Fan and He Han both thought that Dudu wanted to go out and play, but they didn’t know that he had other thoughts. He had a little secret he wanted to reveal to Xiaoxiao and the others.
He Han came early because he wanted to meet Ye Fan and Dudu before going to the set. Then, he would send them to Cheng Ping’s house.
Ye Fan walked to the edge of the cot as Dudu leaned back and shrank in the quilt.
“Mama,” Dudu looked at Ye Fan with big eyes. Hearing Ye Fan getting up, Dudu quickly woke up.
Ye Fan touched Dudu’s face, “Papa is downstairs and wants to take us to auntie’s house. Does Dudu agree to that?”
Dudu lifted the quilt on his body very imposingly and sat up from the cot, his little hands on the edge of the bed.
“Dudu wants to go,” Dudu wanted his father to take him there, but he didn’t say it. Fortunately, his father was the one who took the initiative to come.
Ye Fan had predicted Dudu’s answer long ago. She took Dudu out of the cot, helped him wash up and had breakfast before she started putting a coat on him.
It was late winter and the temperature was extremely low. The air was cold as a shallow mist would form by letting out a breath. Ye Fan was afraid that Dudu would catch a cold, so she naturally armed him against the chilly weather.
Ye Fan newly bought a dark blue down jacket for Dudu as he obediently stretched out his hand and tucked his arm into the sleeve.
Ye Fan also bought a cartoon mask for Dudu and she hooked the straps on both sides to his ears. Ye Fan pinched Dudu’s ears, “Okay, it’s done.”
Ye Fan brought Dudu downstairs. The closer he got to the first floor, the more excited Dudu became.
He Han was already waiting downstairs. As soon as Ye Fan walked out of the door, He Han got out of the car. Because of the cold weather, there were not many people in the community at all, so it was deserted.
Ye Fan held Dudu’s hand and walked to He Han.
He Han squatted down, his eyes at the same level with Dudu. He smiled at Dudu, “Dudu, good morning.”
The lower half of Dudu’s face was hidden under the mask. He thought that Ye Fan and He Han wouldn’t be able to see it, so he smiled secretly. However, his round eyes had narrowed slightly, revealing his true emotions.
Neither Ye Fan nor He Han exploited Dudu’s thoughts.
Ye Fan squatted down, “Do you want Papa to carry Dudu into the car?” She discussed it with Dudu. Dudu must have wanted it to happen in his heart, but he wouldn’t say it out loud.
Sure enough, Dudu didn’t agree and looked at Ye Fan, “Mama carry Dudu.”
Ye Fan poked his chubby little belly, “Today, you’re wearing a lot of clothes, so Mama might not be strong enough to carry you. Can you ask Papa to help Mama?”
In order to make Dudu and He Han closer, Ye Fan talked about Dudu’s weight again.
