Daisy in the Marvel Universe

Chapter 5 Obtaining Superpowers

This underground city seems to be composed of many concentric circles from the inside to the outside, and the center of the circle is its own goal. Daisy walked for an hour and felt that even a road nerd would not get lost as long as she walked along the straight path.

However, she did not relax her due vigilance. Just like what she saw on TV, whenever she passed the intersection of an arc and a straight line, she would draw an arrow on the ground as her direction of travel.

In the empty passage, there was only the sound of her footsteps. In order to keep herself focused, Daisy stopped every two hours to rest, drink water, and regain her strength.

In this way, she walked down the sentry tower at twelve noon, and now the mechanical watch showed that it was already eight o'clock in the evening. She just felt that she had been walking.

I was sitting on the ground eating compressed biscuits. I took two bites and threw them back into my backpack. I really couldn’t eat any more! Too dry! She didn't want to consume too much drinking water, so she had to be careful with the water. After all, she was not a superman, and she had to go back the same way after gaining super powers.

She closed her eyes slightly to relieve her nervousness. She found that as long as she held the obelisk tightly, she would recover some of her physical strength. Although it was not much, it was very precious in this hellish place.

Gritting his teeth, he stood up and continued walking inside.

Even though she didn't see a ghost along the way, she still held the pistol tightly. This was her only way to save her life at the moment.

At twelve o'clock that night, I still had plenty of physical strength, but I was already very exhausted mentally.

Daisy had to end today's trip.

After taking a short rest, she sat down with her back against the wall, put her backpack in front of her, held the obelisk in her hand to keep her body warm, closed her eyes and fell asleep.

This silent and dark underground city, which had not been inhabited for thousands of years, was not a good place to sleep. There was no comfortable big bed, no pillows or quilts, so she curled up in a ball like a refugee.

Her consciousness was sometimes clear and sometimes confused. Between sleep and rest, one moment I dreamed that my new book had been beaten horribly, and the next moment I dreamed of being knocked to the ground by Thanos, with blood flowing all over the floor.

I slept intermittently for three hours. When I woke up, I found that I was indeed bleeding. It just had nothing to do with Brother Thanos. It was purely a "self" problem...

With his face full of embarrassment and confusion, he relied on his previous memory to tidy things up. Unable to sleep, he decided to continue walking to the center of the city.

...

"Oh my god! We're finally here!" Daisy was now disheveled. Not to mention a sixty-year-old beauty, if it weren't for her long hair, her gender would be almost impossible to tell. After three days of stumbling around, we finally arrived at the center of the city.

Six tall stone doors were distributed in a ring, two meters apart, supporting the inner stone chamber. There was a one-meter-high stone platform in the center. Daisy looked at the top and wondered how the structure was designed. The strong light falls on the stone platform through several refractions.

After rubbing her stiff cheeks, Daisy first observed her surroundings.

Once the ritual in the memory begins, the surrounding stone doors will automatically close to form a sealed environment, and the obelisk will begin to shed its metal shell, revealing the Terrigen crystal inside and spreading a mist.

She is now worried that once the evolution is completed, these stone doors will open automatically, and will they not be closed forever?

After looking carefully for a long time, the research results were inconclusive. There was no mechanical transmission and no power supply. She really couldn't see that these stone gates would move on their own after the ceremony started!

As a woman, you should be cruel to yourself. If you don't understand something, don't think about it in advance. If you have superpowers, you won't be afraid even if the stone door is completely closed. Those who have evolved useless abilities need to worry. You don't need to worry as a dignified shockwave girl!

He took out the last two bottles of water, poured some into the palm of his hand, and wiped a handful on his face to look more energetic.

Daisy placed the obelisk in the center of the stone platform, took two steps back, and waited for the ceremony to begin.

Amidst the "rumbling" sound, the six stone gates began to move slowly according to a certain predetermined trajectory. After three minutes, they completed fitting each other. The indoor area was reduced by half, and the sealed environment was completed.

The obelisk merged with the light projected from above, and began to rotate together with the stone platform in her excited eyes.

With a crisp "click" sound, the metal skin of the obelisk scattered around, revealing the light blue crystals inside. The crystals were like living creatures, automatically sprouting many branches, from a single crystal to turning into a crystal cluster. Just ten seconds.

Daisy was so nervous as she watched the crystals surge, veins popped out on the back of her hands, her nose twitched slightly, and she stared at the crystal clusters without blinking. The original time and space was divided into half of the crystal energy by another stranger, and then the evolution crystal was broken by a kind person. It can be said that the shock wave girl was far from reaching the high point she should have.

Now that I have this evolution all to myself, everything will be different.

Daisy waited in silence. After a short time, the stone platform stopped rotating, the skyrocketing crystal clusters also calmed down, and there was silence all around, without any abnormality.

Is this the end? She couldn't believe it.

She took a step forward, and something happened.

The light in the stone room was a bit dim, and Daisy couldn't see very clearly. It seemed that the crystal seemed to emit a stream of gas from the inside. The gas fermented rapidly in this sealed environment, giving off a sour smell.

The air is a bit dirty. Daisy can guarantee that the PM2.5 here will definitely be off the charts. She doesn’t know if it is harmful if inhaled into the lungs.

When she was thinking wildly, she only felt a little numb in her body. When she looked down, she saw that she was starting to become petrified from her fingers to her wrists.

If you don't understand the truth, you will definitely be scared to death...

In fact, she was not much better at this time, her body was getting stiffer and stiffer, and black and gray stone objects were climbing rapidly on her body.

Calm down, it's okay, this is all a routine! She was trying to cheer herself up, but her mind went blank. She was petrified very quickly. She lost her perception of the outside world and turned completely into a stone statue.

The ritual did not stop, the crystal was still emitting mist. In this sealed environment, the mist had nowhere to go, and in the end most of it was inhaled into Daisy's body.

Until the crystal ran out of energy, it unscientifically evaporated in the air, and the stone room fell into silence.

"Dong...dong..." I don't know how long it took, but a subtle heartbeat came from the stone statue, and it became increasingly clear.

"Crash" "Crash" The stone statue began to break, starting with the fingers. After a few days of hard work, the fingers that were originally stained became white again, with a hint of luster.

The cracks are getting bigger and bigger, from fingers to palms, arms, and to cheeks.

Daisy felt that the whole world had changed in her perception, but it was not clear where the changes were, and there was something more in her body, but all of this was blocked by an uncomfortable layer of stone skin.

"Ah! -" She shouted, and a force burst out from her cells. These forces were like floods that had been accumulated for a long time. Once mobilized, they were filled to the point of being irresistible. It was like a thunder blast on the ground, and the stone skin burst from the ground. It exploded violently from the inside out.

The status still needs to be adjusted in two days, so for the new book issue, I shamelessly ask everyone for your favorites and recommendation votes~
