Danger Zone
Chapter 128 - His Farewell
Aiden continues to stare at Daime as if he is crazy to his sudden decision of running away from his family and to Aiden's future. He looks at him as those silver eyes pleading him to hold his hand and comes with him.
Aiden stumbles backward, making Daime lowers down his hand and clenches it behind him. He shows unbothered smile to Aiden before chuckling.
"I was just kidding."
Aiden looks at him, assuring that he is telling the truth. Daime laughs at Aiden reaction and shows his hands up to see that he is not pissed and he is just playing.
"I am seriously just kidding. Why would we run away when you are this happy?"
Daime smiles at Aiden but the older male feels like there is something that Daime knows but won't tell him. He wants to ask Daime but Aiden is not sure what to ask him.
Daime walks away from Aiden as he puts both of his hands inside of his pocket, hiding away the feeling of guilt and frustrations.
His plan is already on its way and there is nothing he can do anymore. He will fly away from Aiden is that's what his heart wants.
No matter how hard it is, Daime wants to get away from the latter. Letting Primo have Aiden all to himself and will not be on their way to happiness.
Yes, Daime can do it. He just needs to erase his existence to Aiden's life by hiding away and do not return.
He looks back at Aiden, showing him his sweetest smile and holds out his hand again.
"Let's explore more of this place before the sun sets."
Aiden can only nod at him as he takes Daime's hand and holds it tightly. Unknown to Daime's plan, Aiden hopes that this will not be the last time that Daime will take him to this place.
He also wishes to bring Primo in this place. It will be awesome to have them both here. Aiden is also thinking what if both of them proposed at the same time, he will definitely go straight to heaven.
They walk down the flowery paths of the garden when Aiden decides that he wants to watch the sunset with Daime. The younger man nods at Aiden's request and leads him towards the open space where they can watch the sunset.
"The sign said we can sit here."
Daime points at the bench in the middle of the open field and waits for Aiden to sit down before sitting down beside him. Aiden is still holding his hand while smiling at Daime's direction.
"Happy Birthday, babe. I am sorry that I don't have any gift for you."
Daime smiles at the Aiden as he lifts Aiden's hand and kisses the back of his hand sweetly. This can be the last day that Daime will be able to do something like this, so he decides to enjoy it all.
Aiden blushes profusely at the gesture while he moves to side until his left arm touches Daime's right arm. Daime lets go of his hand and puts it behind his head, securing his place beside him.
Aiden leans his head on Daime's shoulder while the younger holds Aiden tightly beside him. Daime can see how Aiden smile as he looks forward for the sunset.
"Having you here beside me is already a gift. So, thank you accepting my offer to spend time with me."
Daime kisses Aiden on the top of his head as he breathes in Aiden's scent that he will be missed when he is away. Aiden can feel something vague inside of him but can't quite understand what it is.
He feels pain and thorns that keep on prickling his fragile heart but he can't quite figure out why it is happening. He shrugs at the feeling and enjoys the sunset with Daime.
After the sunset, they decide to eat dinner at a local restaurant. Aiden is enjoying his meal when Daime suddenly receives a phone call from a familiar number.
Aiden looks at him and tilts his head, asking Daime about the caller when the latter just shrug his shoulder and hangs up. Aiden did not care about the caller but he is intrigued that someone knows Daime's personal phone number other than him.
They enjoy their dinner and decide to go back home before Grandmama rules Aiden as a missing person. Daime drops him off near the back door and told him to enter the house immediately before someone catches them.
Aiden follows Daime's instruction and enters the house quietly. Tiptoeing until he reaches Primo's room and changes his clothes into his pajamas.
He sneaks inside the covers and snuggles into Primo's chest. Primo groans at the sudden warmth near him and pulls Aiden closer before speaking.
"Where have you been the whole day, babe?"
Aiden did not answer but he kisses Primo on the lips. He moans through the kiss as Primo's lips travel down to his neck and smiles.
"Are you trying to get me naughty so you can get away from my question?"
Aiden shakes his head as exhaustion engulfs his tiny frame. Primo only chuckle at the reaction and goes back to sleep.
Meanwhile, Daime is already outside of the mansion. Looking back the place that shows him the hardship of being part of the biggest and one of the wealthiest family in this country.
Sadly, he needs to get away from them and never return. He sighs as he starts the motorbike that he and Aiden rode earlier.
Aiden is one of the reasons why Daime stayed in the family. Without him, the latter probably died somewhere in a ditch or already left the family.
Whatever the reason is, Daime shakes his head as he drives away from the mansion and into the city's bright lights and pumping music. He drives passed the bars and the screaming teenagers on the streets.
With a smile on his face, he says his last wish before going straight to the airport and flies away from the country with a new identity given by his sister.
"Let's meet again in the next life, Aiden. Farewell, my love."
