Danger Zone

Daime is sitting down in a lobby when he sees the man from earlier walking inside while looking at him. He can still see the suspicion in his eyes but he does not address anything about it.

The man sits down in front of him and puts his gun at the sit right beside him as he looks at Daime with a blank expression.

"I don't know who you are but if you are planning to get to our good side, you better stop pretending as Primo. You even went through surgery to look like him."

Daime is not as shock about what he said. But it did make sense to him in a different way. 

"If I did surgery, then he will be with me and not Primo."

The man looks at him when he heard the name Primo. Daime is also shocked about what he said. He can't believe he just said that. 

"Sorry."

The man continues to stare at Daime and contemplates his next move. He continues to observes Daime before coming up with a conclusion of letting this young man in front of him to the mountains and inside his aunt's home. 

In his mind, this guy is far from being Primo. Because first, Primo never apologizes. Even if Primo is already caught of his sins, he will never apologize unless you show any proof of evidence that it is really him. 

The word "sorry" is hard for Primo to produce from his lips. So when he heard the man saying sorry to him after what he just said, the man knows that this guy is not Primo.

Second, Primo has ocean blue eyes. No matter how many times he thinks of getting a laser eye surgery, this guy's eyes are far different from Primo. Silver eyes are rare and turning them ocean blue just like Primo's will be difficult.

Third, his facial features. Primo has always been a headstrong individual. And he knows that. The man can still remember that he is so scared of even looking to Primo when he was still a kid. 

Primo's facial features are strong, masculine, and dominant. But this guy in front of him right now, looks so dormant. His features are a bit soft and his expression are close to child-like. 

He can also conclude that he might be less younger than Primo. 

Fourth, Primo will never carry someone else's bags even if he sees that they are having a hard time carrying them. Earlier, he saw that Daime is the one carrying his aunt's belongings. 

He even questions about it. And the latter's answer is making him think whether this person really forgot who he is or he is trying to pretend at Primo but also failing in doing so. 

Lastly, Primo is not as observant as this one. If Primo is in an interrogation, he will only care about the interrogation. He will not care if someone is being hurt or someone is talking outside. 

But he observes from this guy, he always looks outside to check if his aunt is doing alright. This guy might be physically fit as Primo but he will never be Primo. 

So, the question still remains. Who the heck is he?

The man clears his throat to get the young man's attention. Daime finally looks at the officer in front of him smiles lightly.

The man is about to open his mouth to speak but Daime beats him to it. He has been observing the officer's behavior since earlier even if he is looking at the old lady outside. 

"I am pretty sure now that you know that I am not Primo and will never be him. I don't know where I am or what happened to me before the plane crash. 

I could still remember that I need to go to Moscow but I am no longer sure why. I don't care if you believe me or not but I can assure you that I mean no harm."

Daime's voice is firm that he is not going to hurt anybody in this area. He is inside a military base. Attacking it on his own or even hurting one of the officer here will be the end of his life. 

"I will be stupid if I hurt you in front of anybody else. Plus, your aunt will be sad if I do that."

Considerate.

Primo will never be a considerate type of person. He will just ask if the interrogation is done and will be on his way home. The only family that Primo cares is mom, dad, his big brother and his Grandmama; Zinnia Novinchi.

Hearing Daime's statement, the officer sighs and lets him go. With a promise of they will not going to bother them up in the mountains and Daime should report his aunt's condition from time to time.

Daime bows at the officer and thanks him. 

"If only Primo has the same attitude as you, maybe his family is still alive by this time."

The statement made Daime looks back at the officer but the man already closes the door from his office. Daime made a mental note to ask the old lady about Primo's family and why did the officer said that. 

The old lady is happy that Daime comes out of the officer in one piece. He even has a smile on his face which made the other people think if they are dreaming or seeing a once in a blue moon miracle.

In their eyes, this man walking out of the office with a smile plastered on his face is still Primo. Even if he has silver eyes and not his normal ocean blue eyes. 

Daime waves to them his goodbye and helps the old lady to carry her bags. Moments of bidding farewells later, Daime and the old lady are on their way to the top of the mountains, where her house is.

"Are you ready? Our home will be at the top of the mountain."

Daime nods at the old lady as if he is going to have a choice of saying no. He needs to make sure that she is okay and will prolongs her life even if she is living in a place with the harshest living condition.

"Of course. Please, lead the way."

The old lady smiles and immediately walks up to the path leading to her home and into the deepest part of the mountains. 

It is snowing since it is near winter season. But the paths is already covered in ice and the wind will freeze Daime to death. 

He just wishes now that he won't die while climbing up the mountain. I hope so.
