Danger Zone

Drax pushes the wheelchair while Aiden talks at how lovely the garden of the hospital is. The flower beds that is filled with different types of water, forming a beautiful display, making Aiden wonder if Daime is here, will he be happy now that the Omega found his fated pair?

Aiden suddenly stops talking and looks at the flower beds. Drax sees this type of reaction and stops the wheelchair as he crouches down next to him and observes his reaction. 

Drax can see the sadness in his eyes when he realizes why. The flower beds must've remind him of his other cousins, who died. The Alpha sighs, knowing that Aiden hasn't moved on of Daime. 

He doesn't feel any type of jealousy but he feels regret of not saying anything to his pair. One of those reasons of keeping this secret is Primo. Primo asked him to not tell Aiden and just go with the flow. 

This made him feel guilty of everything. He sighs and faces Aiden towards him. The Omega looks at his Alpha in front of him. He blinks his eyes and sees Drax. 

The Omega smiles and caresses Drax's face as the Alpha closes his eyes and feels the softness of the Omega's palm. 

"What is wrong? Are you okay?"

Drax opens his eyes and smiles at the Omega. The softness in his eyes shoot comfort in Aiden's heart. The Omega's cheeks redden like a ripe beef tomato and tries to look away from the Alpha. 

The Alpha chuckles and puts his hand on his chin before slowly facing him towards his direction. He needs to say this matter before Aiden can know about it way before the time runs out. 

"I need to tell you something. And I hope that you will forgive me by not telling you sooner."

Aiden nods his head. He is excited of what Drax wants to tell him. It might be a present or a surprise by his life mate. Whatever it is, Aiden wants to know now. 

"I've known this for a while but Primo asked me not to tell you. And Daime is alive. I think he is back in Switzerland."

Silence suddenly filled the whole garden, making the Alpha irk in nervous and in regret that he told Aiden about Daime. In his mind, Aiden will leave him now and the only thing he does is accept. 

He knows that Aiden still love the other Alpha and here he is, coming inside his life without much introduction other than his name is Drax. Aiden has known him as Drax and he will be Drax the third cousin to Aiden. 

He looks away from the Omega and sighs. He tries to smile and taps the Omega by the shoulder and continues to push the wheelchair when the Omega stops the wheel by his hand and turns to Drax.

"Why do you look like that, Alpha? Why are you sad? Did I made you sad?"

Drax stops and looks at the Omega, who only blinks at him innocently. His lips turns into a loving smile as he tells the Alpha to crouch down in front of him. 

Aiden puts his two small hands on Drax's face and squeezes his cheeks before kissing him on the lips, making the Alpha widens his eyes in surprise. 

"I love you, even if we only fated after Primo forced his mark on me, I will still love you, my fated Alpha. I am happy that Daime is alive but I don't have the same feeling I have for him before. 

He might be back now and already met his other half while he was away and I am okay with that. But I hate it when you try to conclude and think that I don't love you anymore.

I love you, always remember that."

It is now Drax who feels the hotness on his cheeks. The feeling of embarrassment creeps to his cheeks, forcing himself to look away from the Omega. Aiden chuckles at Drax's reaction and hugs the Alpha in a full embrace. 

"Stop thinking stupid things, Alpha. When I recover, I will give my whole to you."

Drax kisses his Aiden neck before blowing a small amount of air in his ear as the Omega squeals away and playfully slaps the Alpha on his shoulder. 

"Stop that! It tickles!"

The Alpha laughs wholeheartedly, making Aiden warms his heart out. He has heard. Primo and Daime laugh before but nothing is much sweeter than hearing his Alpha because of him. 

"You are so cute. Let's go?"

Aiden nods at his Alpha as Drax stands up and pushes the wheelchair back to his room. It is almost times up when they got there and the nurse is already waiting in front of Aiden's room. 

"Medicine?"

The nurse looks at the Alpha and nods. Drax nods back and enters Aiden's room while Aiden talks to his nurse about the theories of the crimes that he had watch while taking recoveries inside of the hospital. 

"Is it really possible to die like that? Just combusting out of nowhere?"

The nurse thought for a minute and nods at the latter. Aiden nods away as Drax carries him to his bed as if he can't stand up on his own or he is crippled. 

"You know that I can stand up on my own, right? You don't have to carry me all the time."

The Alpha did not answer and let the nurse to inject the medicine that Aiden has been taking for the past few days until he makes a full recovery. After that, Drax asks the nurse to go out now since Aiden needs to rest. 

Aiden frowns at the behavior of his Alpha and looks at him with a glare. 

"Why did you do that? She looks so scared of you."

Drax chuckles as he dangerously looms into Aiden's personal space as the scent of lavender spikes through the air of the room. 

"It is because I don't want her to see you crippled."

Aiden's eyes widen in surprise as his mind recalled that the Santoros are good in bed and at the same time, they don't which or where they are when they feel horny or in a rut.

"You are not in a rut, right? I-I-I am still not recovered. I-I-I-"
