Danger Zone

Chapter 195 - The Big Day

Another chapter of their life had opened as Mischka opened his eyes in the early morning of Saturday, September 12th. His body was aching and his lower back was screaming in pain.

He groaned as he stood up from the bed and realized what date was today. He looked to his right to see Daime slacking and slapped his chest.

In pain, the Alpha arose from the bed and yelped at how hurt his chest was and looked at Mischka with worry plastered on his face.

"You dumbshit! How am I going to walk down the aisle with my back hurt?! You overdid it last night!"

Daime looked at the Omega with a scrunched up face and realized what Mischka had said. He fully turned to him and asked him a question, making Mischka think that something is really wrong with his Alpha.

"Aisle? What aisle? You are going to marry me? Now?"

Mischka was dumbfounded. He don't know what was going on inside the Alpha's mind. All he know was that he want to shake his head up and make him realize what he was talking about.

Out of frustration, Mischka bit slapped Daime straight to his face, making the Alpha groaned and looked away. In an instant, just like magic, Daime remembered what date was today and looked at Mischka with his eyes wide open.

"Holy shit! Today is the day! We need to get ready!"

Daime scrambled to his feet and get out of the bed while looking around and think of things he should do first. Mischka looked at him with a dead panned expression until the Alpha stared at him back and asked.

"What are you doing there? We need to go!"

The Omega heaved a heavy sigh before throwing a pillow at the Alpha in frustration. Daime caught the pillow and looked at the Omega who was trying to stand up while his legs kept on fidgeting at the amount of pain he felt from his lower back.

"Are you okay? What is wrong? Why are you fidgeting?"

Mischka glared at the Alpha and walked towards him but ended up falling to the ground. Daime saw this and immediately caught the Omega before his knees hit the cold carpeted floor.

"Mischka! Are you okay? What happened-"

"You fucked me last night and overdid it, now you are asking me if I am okay? Of course, I am, Alpha!"

Mischka cut Daime's question that he had been asking since earlier and looked at the Alpha with dead eyes.

"I was fidgeting because my legs can feel all the pressure from my lower back."

Daime looked at the Omega with a heartfelt sorry plastered on his eyes as he helped Mischka to stand up but ended up carrying the Omega on his arms.

"Since I am the one who did this to you, let me be the one to carry you to the venue."

Mischka looked at the Alpha and sighed happily. Even if the Alpha was kind of dumb at some point, the Omega had felt the love that he was showing and the care that the Alpha was throwing at him.

Sometimes it was too much, sometimes it was too less, but most of the time, it was enough. Being around the Alpha could give him a sense of pride, joy and safety. Daime was an imperfect Alpha but Mischka knew that and still accept him for being that person.

All his life, Mischka had never felt something like this before. He has been hurt so many times that the love that Daime is giving him was overwhelming. The overflowing joy that he has been feeling whenever he was with Daime is magnificent to feel.

He loves Daime. And he will do everything for the Alpha even if it meant killing someone for his happiness. Mischka smiled at the Alpha and loop his arms around his shoulder before leaning towards him for a kiss.

A sweet kiss that he will share with him as another chapter of their lives opened up a new opportunity of faith. Mischka once lost this faith and Daime was the only person who brought it back and kept it there for the long run.

"I love you, my Alpha."

"I love you too, my precious Omega."

Busy streets and passing cars, the flowers bloom and the crickets cry. The sun arose and the clouds formed a giant display in the sky. Today is the day and the tavern is ready to cry.

Everyone is running around in circles like headless chickens as they checked if everything is ready and everything is prepared. Mr. Miguel, the tavern's current manager, is checking everything from the details of the cake to the flower arrangements.

Some of the workers are properly placing the tables and chairs covered in white clothe and multiple colored bands around them. Variations of flowers splattered around the venue and the lights that sparkled the night sky are their witness for this wonderful event.

Daime asked for something simple but it is yet made since Drax had crashed the party and helped with the arrangements. The younger Alpha does not know about this since Mr. Miguel had hide since the day they arrived from the hospital.

The older Alpha found out about the wedding from a common friend that went to the tavern in the morning of yesterday and planned to do all the arrangements for his younger cousin, who had helped him through the years as well.

The couple chose a night time scenery for their wedding and Drax tasked everyone to do give them that. Aiden is with him and he is having fun decorating the flowers with Marlene and Francis, who talks a lot about Mischka before finishing the whole decorum.

"Mischka is a really nice person. I bet you will be friends with Aiden!"

The Omega nods enthusiastically at the Beta woman and places the flowers at one of the pillars at the entrance of the wedding venue. He looks at his Alpha who seems to be having trouble with one of the decorations before throwing his hands on the air and redid the decorum.

"What's the matter, Alpha?"

Drax looks at Aiden and smiles. He doesn't want the Omega to worry but he shows him what is the last thing they need to do.

"It looks simple but with a limited amount of materials, it wouldn't be made."

Aiden nods in understanding before comforting his Alpha. The Omega does not know that the Alpha even knew how to decorate a wedding or even build a display for the bride and groom such as this.

"I didn't know that you can build a display such as this. How do you know such decorations?"

The Alpha looks at his Omega and chuckles as a simple response. Remembering the person who told him about these decorations back when he was in his twenties.

"Daime was the one who told me about this. He was so enthusiastic when he was talking about this dream wedding of his back when he was still a tiny tot. And I do remember him saying that he wanted something like this one.

A fort where he can bite his Omega is secret and marks him as his territory. A small sweet gesture for him and his mate in the future, he said.

That brat, he had been this romanticist out of all of us."

Aiden chuckles alongside him and gives the Alpha a sweet kiss before walking away. Drax smiles at the gesture and continues to plan for this giant display when a familiar voice called him.

"Drax? What the heck are you doing here? The guests should arrive later in the afternoon! You are too—oh no—no, no, no, no. Nooooo!"

The older Alpha stares at Daime as he chuckles when the younger male realizes why he was here.

Mischka looks at the reaction of his Alpha and frowns. He looks like he was contemplating on something that he regrets of telling him the other Alpha.

"What? You asked for it. Now, I am here to fulfill it!"

Daime furiously shakes his head and looks away from the older Alpha. He whines with his low voice and looks at his Omega who is about to laugh at his expression.

"Look, I was a kid back then, okay! My wants at that time are too extravagant and I was not thinking straight and it was just a dream, okay! I was still immature at that time and you don't have to do it now!

I regret of telling you that, I swear! So I beg you-"

Drax nods along with Daime rantings before Mischka shuts him up and asks to cut to the chase.

"Why are you so early?! What are you planning?! Alucard!"

The older Alpha waves a piece of blueprint on his hand and calls Mr. Miguel to bring Daime and his mate inside of the tavern to relax before their big event.

"See you later, cuz."

Mischka drags his Alpha away from the older Alpha while Daime regrets of telling the dream that he had when he was still young and naïve.

"Thinking about it, what was in that dream?"

Daime looks at this fated pair and frowns. "Not, you too!"
