Danger Zone

Chapter 225 - Two Months Out

Days since the scenting, cuddling and other shenanigans that happened between Nigel and Primo. Days since the Omega had seen the Alpha and his handsome face. Days since the paper works that indicate Primo was now a free man. Days that he had been missing him, a lot.

Nigel wakes up with a heavy load near his arm and as he opened his eyes, he screamed. He screamed as he thought that there was a dead person beside him. He screamed as he jump out of the bed and walked away from the body.

He grabbed his phone from the nightstand and shakily called Primo as he breathed in and out to calm himself down. As he calm down, he looked around his apartment and realized that the cadaver on his bed was not the only thing disgusting in his room.

Primo answered but the only thing he heard was crying and asking whoever. At this point, the Alpha did not care anymore and rushed out of his apartment and went to where Nigel was.

The Alpha leapt onto his bike and roared off, not even bothering with helmets. He jumped curbs, zoomed through lots and cut in line as the raced the 14 blocks to the place he was needed.

He bounded up to the door and didn't even bother knocking, he entered together and followed the sound of his Omega's cries.

"Nigel! What happened?"

The Alpha ground his teeth as he looked at his Omega's room filled with trashed bags, disgustingly smell of garbage from somewhere and a cadaver right beside his bed.

The walls were painted with red paints with letters like "SLUT!" "WHORE" "THOT!" and so much more. He gritted his teeth as he calm the Omega down, who couldn't breath from crying.

"I am here, Omega. Your Alpha is here."

Nigel climbed up the Alpha like a tree, wrapping his legs around his waist and burying his face in the Alpha's neck. He could feel the blond's hot, moist sobs dewing on his skin and it made him wild with anger and protectiveness.

How dare someone upset him like this? If he ever got his hands on the ones who had done this, they were so dead. But the gut feeling that he knew the person was making him angrier.

"I will contact the police for this. This is inhumane. Whoever did this will be punished by death if it is the last thing I do."

Nigel gripped Primo's arm and shook his head. He didn't want the Alpha to get in trouble.

"Let the police handle it, love. I don't want you to go away from me. Please."

The Alpha looked at him with a soft smile. He nodded his head and carried the Omega to his living room as he grimaced at the sight of the whole apartment. He scanned the room for potential clues but he found none.

Nigel tremblingly grabbed the telephone to report what had happened while his Alpha scanned his whole apartment. The police arrived momentarily later with black masks and some back-ups.

The detective looked at the Alpha and scoffed. He hated Primo a lot but there was nothing he could do but do his duty. Pretending to be a good Alpha was not a good look for Primo.

He would break those controls real soon. Primo felt the heavy gaze to him and looked up to see the Beta officer looking straight at him. He did not growl or snort, but he glares to him, served as a warning.

The detective backed up and gulp as the older detectives entered the scene with a frown on his.

"What are you doing, rookie? Move it!"

He bowed to his superior and started his investigation with the others. The older superior went to both Primo and Nigel and suggest the Alpha to take his Omega to his apartment while investigating the whole ordeal.

The Alpha thanked him and carried his Omega and Nigel's bags to the exit as they made their way to Primo's small apartment.

"Wow. This apartment looks rather convenient than mine, Alpha. Who picked it?"

Primo smiled at the Omega and hugged him from the back. Scenting him tremendously as the Omega accepted everything. The calmness of the scents of sandalwood and coffee was making the Omega fall to his knees and just be surrounded by these scents.

"Calm now?"

The Omega sighed as he thanked the heavens for bringing him such an observant Alpha. Even if he hid his feelings of comfortless to the people inside of his apartment, the Alpha had seen through him and helped him to relieve that stress.

Whoever did the shitty thing to his apartment will pay. He just hoped that it was not someone he used to know or he will be devastated.

Nigel pushed himself away from Primo as he gathered up every blanket and pillow that they brought from the apartment and piled them in the living room of the Alpha's apartment.

The Alpha used rubber bands and sheets and safety pins to fashion a makeshift canopy out of sheets and hung it from one of the exposed steel beams above to make a little tent in the middle of the space.

He organized all the pillows and things inside and gathered what snacks and things he had in the kitchen, setting it all up as comfortably as possible.

Primo even managed to find a string of old Christmas lights somewhere in a box brought by his friend and he draped and pinned them over the tent to create a facsimile of an Omega's nest.

By the time he was done, the Omega had tears on his eyes and hugged the Alpha tightly. Thanking whoever watching them right now for giving Primo to Nigel and Nigel to Primo.

The blond Omega dragged Primo to the entrance of the fort and cuddled with him, forgetting what happened to his apartment and contented that he was in his Alpha's territory, where he will be safe and sound.

Making Nigel feel as if this was where he belonged and not to that lonely, white-walled and dreadful apartment that Alfred bought to him before.

"I love you, Alpha."

With a contented sigh, the Alpha smiled and kissed him on his head.

"I love you too, my darling Omega."
