Danger Zone
Chapter 236 - Togetherness And Fun
Nigel wakes up as he stretches his legs and his arms. A few cracks can be heard being released from his body as he remembers what had happened last night.
He blushes through the memory and quietly looks beside the groaning man. He smiles while his creaking body tries to face Primo, making sure not to make any sound or the Alpha will be disturbed in his slumber.
The blond Omega traces his brows that are frowning from something in his dreams. They are the perfect eye brows according to the Omega; not too hairy yet thick in comparison to his.
He also traces down to his nose that the Omega tries to be jealous at how perfect it looks. He lowers his finger even more until it landed to Primo's firm lips. They are not too big and not too thin. They are just as perfect as his whole face.
As if everything about Primo is beautiful and perfect. Something that the Omega get anxious of. He actually considers that maybe the Alpha is pretending to be his mate after knowing that he is hoping for one.
And after what happened last night, the suspicions grow even more. He hates this kind of feeling but there is nothing he can do. Primo is too perfect and Nigel is nothing.
A not-so-good Omega that tries to live his life at his old age. He is already forty years old and Primo is only thirty. A lot of events can be far ahead of the young Alpha and one of them can be building a family of his own.
At this age, Nigel knows that carrying a pup is not something his body can do anymore. He is far from the status quo of carrying a pup. He will die in the process.
If Primo will consider paying a surrogate mother to carry their kids, he might consider it. But, he also wants to feel what pregnant Omega feels.
With these thoughts in mind, he leans forward and kisses the Alpha on the lips, closing his eyes in the process not knowing that his Alpha is already awake.
"Good morning, sweet cheeks."
Nigel opens his eyes and sees the Alpha smirking before leaning his forehead to his and chuckles.
"Stealing kisses, were you?"
Nigel blushes when he got caught in the act and moves away. Unfortunately, his body does not allows that since he is still sore from last night.
Primo chuckles as he wraps his arms around his waist and pulls Nigel towards him as he snuggles onto his scent gland and sighs contently.
"We should have a picnic at the forest, what do you say, babe?"
Nigel's eyes sparkle at the thought of exploring the forest and having a picnic under the redwood trees. He looks at the Alpha while smiling brightly and nodding his head.
"Yes, Alpha. That will be a wonderful idea!"

Primo takes the blond Omega's hand as he leads him through the tall grass. Fox tails and switch grass, wild violets and yellow buttercups—every time they wade through the prairie, an answering small branch crunches beneath their feet, toes tuck into the barely damp soil between each lingering sole print and the next.
In the faint dimness of the bursting night sky in the hidden cabin, Nigel feels like a beacon.
Shadows stretch across his face, but there's that little star-twinkle in his eyes that Primo loves to melt in, even despite the flurry of angry quirks in his wrinkles or the pout in his lip as he ruminates longer on the reason why the Alpha drags him out here with a little warning, wearing nothing but cargo shorts and a thick, hot sweatshirt.
They are just enjoying a sweet time together under the redwood trees but when the sunsets, the Alpha suddenly drags him into the deepest part of the forest, away from the cabin that secures them from perpetrators.
The Omega doesn't retort, but he doesn't complain either about the nocturnal Alpha, something which anyone would never see in the urban streets of Geneva. Nor does he talk about the muggy weather, and how it's affecting rivulets of sweat pooling at his hairline.
Passing through the tall grass and across a tiny creak invisible to all but a handful of folks that take care of the untrimmed land every once in a while, they hike.
Eventually, they make it to the treeline where the thick brush of leaves lift once in a while, floating with the wind as it blocks the moon for a split-second, then two, then back again.
"A—Alpha—I can't climb that."
Primo looks at him and smiles. He grabs him by the waist and asks him to climb to his back.
"Hop on. Trust me. I won't let anything happen to you."
Nigel gulps and trusts the Alpha as he climbs on his back and loops his arms around the Alpha's neck. Holding tightly yet making sure not to choke the Alpha that can result to their death.
About three-quarters up, there's a makeshift platform he puts up before for him and Aiden. But now, it will be for him and Nigel.
Imagining the endless times that they can spend in this place, rolling around the grass, chasing each other between winding trails and trees, and even stargazing from this very spot as they try to find any constellation in the dark sky.
From the Orion's belt to the zodiac's constellation, Primo had been a fond of them. Tiny dots in the sky that can create something more extraordinary than they already are.
And as Nigel stares up in hushed awe at the view through the perfectly framed hole in the leaves, where dozens of lights blink back at him.
The Alpha can't bring himself to try the same finger-pointing, map-making, star-aligning fascination he used to do alone, because he's too immersed in capturing this view.
"Come lay with me, my Omega."
Nigel nods at his Alpha and lays his back beside him, facing the twinkling stars that brightens up the dark skies that surrounds the whole forest.
"It is so pretty."
Primo hums in responds, turning his head to the side to see his Omega having fun at what he sees. At the sight of the stars that brightens up the sky, Primo sees the twinkling lights on the Omega's eyes.
As beautiful as the stars above, Primo can feel that he is slowly falling deeply, madly in love with Nigel. Something that he never felt before.
"You are way beautiful, my Omega."
He blushes through the memory and quietly looks beside the groaning man. He smiles while his creaking body tries to face Primo, making sure not to make any sound or the Alpha will be disturbed in his slumber.
