Danger Zone

Chapter 80 - The Warnings

"Sis?"

A heavy sigh replies back to him as he questions the person on the other line. Primo is outside waiting for his Grandmother to come from the airport.

They already prepare them food and some drinks for their arrival. Primo told Aiden to dress up so he can formally meets Grandmama and officially shows her that Primo is not the person she used to know.

Aiden nods at him and immediately went inside the room. As he is bathing, he remembers the first time he and his sister step foot in this country.

It is a hot sunny day and the sun is shining brightly in the heavenly sky. Aiden is pulling his luggage while his sister is carrying the bags.

They both went to the arrival area and wait for the car to come around. That car belongs to their uncle who is living in this country with his family.

He comes around, driving a black SUV with their male and female cousins, who are waving their hands towards them with a smile on their faces.

They are happy to see them again after so many years of living in a different part of the world. He misses his parents but maybe this new country will give them a new beginning.

He hears his sister sighs once again. She whispers something in a language that their family teaches its members to speak.

Aiden did not learn that language since he always skips his class as if studying is the most hateful part of his life.

He furrows his brows and waits for his sister to speak about this certain topic that she can't say.

Aiden knows that something is stopping her. That thing could have something to do with their parents, who are known to be good business personnel.

Jasmine curses under her breath before heaving a heavy sigh and tells Aiden something that would make his life up, side, and down.

"I heard from Drax that Grandmama will be there this morning. I need to warn you about something that could make or break your relationship with Primo.

This is all supposed to be a secret if you did not meet Primo but since Primo partially knows you and me being siblings, I think this is the right time to tell you this.

The reason why I left the country to train with that assassin lady."

Aiden sits down on a chair and waits for his sister to personally tell him everything about it but she needs to come home immediately.

Hence, they are talking on the phone. He inhales a heavy sigh as he waits for his sister who is still contemplating whether to tell Aiden or not.

"Father was attacked by the Santoros and thrashed the house as if it is something that they owned. Killed many of our watchdogs and now Father is hiding by the secret office that even I, doesn't know where."

Aiden chokes in his own saliva upon hearing this hidden fact about the attack. It all makes sense now.

"Now for Cassie, she had been tasked to protect you and watched you from afar but by doing that, she broke one of the rules that would put her life in danger.

She did not care about the punishment. But that changes when our parents see how much you smiled whenever you are with her.

Now, Cassie is already on her way back.

Do everything you can to intimidate the old Hag of Santoros so she will let you go with them back to their home country.

A little bit of warning though, you need to make sure that none of the Santoros would know about your real identity except for Daime, Drax and Primo.

You need to hide your surname as much as you can. Don't let them know, please.

For the sake of our parents' sanity and Santoros downfall."

Aiden gulps when he heard about the Santoros. It made him think what is happening between his parents and the Santoros.

Before going out of the room, Aiden lists down the possibilities of what is happening in Switzerland before.

From the reigning of the Santoros to the very first wealthy family that Switzerland have, he searches through the internet as fast as he can before Grandmama reaches this house.

He writes them all down, plots them, and when he is finished, he realizes one thing.

His family and the Santoros are not rivals. They are friends.

But because Grandmama's competitiveness in the business industry, his parents withdrew the friendship and stays low profile, away from the insane world of politics and green papers.

He even manages to list down the possibilities that Primo might've been involved in this petty drama but his family is clean in records since his father was a watchdog before.

He sighs and plans this out before going out of the room and face Grandmama once and for all.

After planning, he fixes his clothes and ruffles his hair, not bothering to fix his unruly hair. He straightens his posture and opens Primo's bedroom door.

He strides towards where Primo is and loops his arm on his biceps. He waves his hand on Daime, making him seat beside him before introducing himself to Grandmama.

Masking his voice with poison and sweetness.

"My name is Aiden. Nice to meet you."

He makes sure that he smiles widely as possible while roaming his eyes around the room. When Daime says that Primo has a lot of other look alikes, he is not kidding.

From his eyes to his chin, from his left angle to his right, these boys in front of him definitely look alike Primo.

He smiles at them as well, making them fidget in response. Primo puts his hand on Aiden's knee and massages it, trying to comfort the latter.

Aiden barely needs it since he had seen a lot of people like this throughout his lifetime. These kinds of scenarios are nothing new to Aiden.

It's like a repetition of the past when he is still watching how is his parents would interact with their business partners.

He observes them like a hawk and listens to the tone of their voices like a bat. He is enjoying this little petty game that Grandmama is trying to play.

When he notices that his presence is making her uncomfortable, he reaches for Daime's hand and leans on his chest, almost sniffing the scent that Daime is emitting subconsciously.

Aiden is happy with his results towards Grandmama. He knows that he won when Grandmama claps her hand after Megan tries to seduce Primo using her chest and her non-existing beauty.

"Silence! I have a deal for you. Since I can't convince you by bringing this woman with us all the way from Hong Kong, this deal should do its job."

Aiden smiles sweetly at Drax, who is sweating profusely with no apparent reason. Well, he has but he won't say anything unless he is being asked.

"Go back in Switzerland with us. You can bring Aiden if you want."

Primo smiles and nods at her. In the back of Aiden's mind, he is jumping up and down at how easy it is to intimidate the person who is known to be competitive amongst her peers.

"I will make you regret that decision, Madame."

It's a whisper but enough to let Grandmama hear it. She looks at him with her eyes widen in surprise, her mind wonders if Aiden is losing his mind or what.

As for Daime and Primo, they are happy that Aiden is confident about this challenge. The real one will begin shortly after they arrived in Switzerland.

They both hope that Aiden would survive.
