Main text Chapter 416: The two books, the framework of Shinto

With a thought in his mind, Qiu Yan suppressed his divine power and thoughts of incense, gathered them together, and locked them in the hole in his soul. His flesh and blood body was purified again, and then he separated a little thought, made contact with the "sacrifice" and tried to pull it away. into the heart.

However, after being stimulated by Shinto, this insight was like a frightened bird. Even if Qiu Yan removed the power of Shinto, he still could not gather the insight and absorb it into his heart with this little thought.

It's no wonder that this insight emphasizes the role of human beings and points out that sacrificial rituals are not meant to exist in the dark, but to act on people's hearts and serve as a kind of spiritual comfort.

In this "sacrifice" enlightenment, the gods are denied. If you use a negated power to come into contact with this enlightenment, it seems to be impacting a person's three views.

Perception itself cannot be thought. It was the conclusion reached by the sages after thinking. After such a shock, it is not surprising that the three views collapsed because of this. The previous loss of control was actually derived from the instinct of perception.

Under the shock, the whole feeling even had a tendency to disintegrate. What was expressed outside was that the chessboard was about to be broken by it, and the ink marks were chaotic.

Qiu Yan understood this and did not panic. Instead, he settled his mind, threw away the distracting thoughts, and suddenly realized something in his soul——

"The learning of a gentleman comes from the ears, the chopsticks reach the heart, spreads throughout the four bodies, and is shaped by movement and stillness. To put it simply, squirming and moving can be regarded as a rule...Learn to the point of etiquette and stop."

What this sentence shows is that a gentleman learns from his ears, remembers it in his heart, and carries it through his words and deeds. A few words or actions can become an example for others to follow. This is actually a kind of etiquette. The ultimate goal of learning.

This sentence is an exhortation to learning. It has been mastered by Qiu Yan for a long time. Now it is confirmed with the theory of rites and is blooming brightly. It is consistent with the core of the "sacrificial person"'s perception. While maintaining consistency, it also vaguely points out The process of "ritual" completion, sorting out the causes and consequences.

As soon as these words came out, the irritable "sacrifice" calmed down, but it was obvious that he was still instinctively wary of Qiu Yan's thoughts and was unwilling to surrender easily.

However, Qiu Yan did not panic. He changed his mind and turned it into a sentence "Correcting Names", which read: "The heart is the master of Dao; the Dao is the manager of governance... Listening will help you combine the text, and debate will help you. All the same."

The heart is the master of Tao, and Tao is the eternal law... Adhering to this, you can follow the etiquette when listening, and you can reveal the causes and consequences when debating.

The invasion of Shinto just now meant indiscriminately absorbing and analyzing the "sacrifice's" sentiments. But now Qiu Yan starts from the root, straightens out the causes and consequences, and agrees with the root of this sentiment. In this way, how can the sentiment be restored? Will you resist?

Finally, he was pulled by Qiu Yan's thoughts and integrated into his heart, and then burned by the fire in his heart. Gao Song's understanding and his teacher's annotations were stripped out, turned into a two-page book, and flew into the four bookshelves, filling Qiu Yan's thoughts. Learn and deepen your understanding of Sun Dao.

It didn't take long for this "sacrificial ritual" insight to be condensed into a star, completely absorbed by Qiu Yan, and became an organic part of the thought he created.

The divine power and thoughts from the cave in the soul spurted out, and merged into this realization again. The latter was no longer irritable, but was controlled by Qiu Yan, combined with the divine way, complementing each other, and learning from each other.

Gradually, a little mystery was born from it. Although it was only a prototype, the atmosphere of the legal domain and the legal profession was seeping out.

"This condensed sense can be used as a seed to lead the human sense to integrate into the divine body. I believe that the human sense experienced by the flesh and blood body can be more harmoniously integrated with the divine way!"

After a brief moment of sensing, Qiu Yan found great significance in this mystery.

"This Wenxuan review is indeed not in vain. Even if we don't get much in the end, this little mystery alone is enough! However, if we can gain some more humanistic insights, cultivate them together, and finally transfer them to the divine body, we will definitely gain something. Even bigger, I originally planned to accumulate strength to attack the third level, but the foundation is inevitably not strong. Now with this mysterious point as a guide, I can even go a step further and change the structure of the divine talisman..."

Thinking in his mind, Qiu Yan's hand did not stop. He held a chess piece between his two fingers and placed it on the chessboard.

Snap!

There was another soft sound, and after the chess piece fell, the insights contained in it quickly spread across the chessboard. The trembling chessboard immediately calmed down, and the horizontal and vertical ink lines with signs of distortion also stabilized again.

Because of the restlessness of this realization, the chessboard moved abnormally. A slight inadvertence might expose Qiu Yan's magical powers, but the abnormal movement lasted very short, and no one else noticed any signs of it.

However, after the chess piece fell, Gao Song on the opposite side did not respond immediately. He had his eyes closed and his brows furrowed, as if he was thinking about something.

"Huh? What is this Takamatsu doing? Why did he stop suddenly?"

"Yes, the two of them were playing fast chess earlier. You were going back and forth with me. Why did it suddenly stop? Is there anything special about Qiu Yan's move?"

"No, there isn't much surprise in this move. Why would it make Takamatsu stop and think?"

"After this round of offensive, Takamatsu has gained the upper hand with the fierce and stormy attack, and is not far from victory."

"Yes, although Qiu Yan has regained some of the situation now, he lost his son and too much land at the beginning, and was inherently deficient. Even if he catches up later, he will get twice the result with half the effort. Now, he is unable to recover."

Seeing Takamatsu's appearance, the crowd watching the chess game finally couldn't help but start talking in low voices, but not loudly, so as not to disturb the chess players' thoughts. In fact, by now, they had also seen the situation of the game and knew The general trend was determined, and then he made his remarks.

However, although Takamatsu looked like he was thinking hard, there was an expression of joy between his brows, which was the joy that naturally arose after enlightenment in his heart.

After about five or six breaths, Gao Song opened his eyes again, glanced at Qiu Yan, then waved his hand and threw the chess piece in his hand on the chessboard.

This action of his is not unfamiliar to others. In the past, when watching people playing chess, they often encountered it.

Throw in the towel!

However, after understanding the meaning of the movements, the crowd watching the chess game seemed to be boiling, and the crowd was full of people.

"What's going on? You're so good, why did Gao Song give up?"

"Yes, he clearly has the advantage in the situation. If there is another fast attack, Qiu Yan's defense will collapse, his confidants will be exposed, and he will definitely lose."

"I'm sure I'm going to win, but I have to admit defeat. I'm afraid there's something weird."

Not only the people watching the chess game were talking about it, but the junior brothers around Gao Song all changed their colors and hurriedly stepped forward to talk in Gao Song's ear, trying to figure out the reason or to persuade him to regret the game, otherwise he would lose to Qiu. Speech will affect your reputation.

Ignoring everyone's comments, Gao Song stood up and bowed his hands to Qiu Yan, saying sincerely: "Master Qiu has a broad mind. Gao has learned a lesson. I have gained a lot from this game. If you still don't know how to restrain yourself, you will be greedy and ask for help." Name, it goes against Sun Sheng’s teachings.”

Qiu Yan stood up and returned the greeting: "Concession, this conversation between chess players is basically a discussion and verification. No one teaches anyone. If we talk about taking advantage, Qiu actually took more advantage."

What he said is true. You must know that this game of chess between the two is on the surface a confrontation of chess skills, but in fact it is a collision of ideas. They are passing on each other's understanding of the ways of the sages through the chessboard.

Relatively speaking, what Qiu Yan learned in his heart was extensive and complex, and what he taught involved a lot of content, which greatly inspired Gao Song. But on the other hand, although Gao Song's knowledge was limited, he was a diligent scholar. After studying hard for many years, he not only had Understanding, as well as the inheritance of Chongli Academy, the insights he conveyed were often sharp and touching, making Qiu Yan personally feel it, which was a rare complement to what he had learned.

On the other hand, after all, Qiu Yan has a complete spiritual inheritance of sages, and the entire ideological framework has been built. This external insight can speed up the improvement, just like when building a house, the foundation has been built long ago, waiting for the upward progress. The bricks are laid, and every insight absorbed from the outside can add to the bricks.

In contrast, although Takamatsu's achievements involve many things, they are fragmented and unsystematic, and it is difficult to form a system. Moreover, he himself has not received the complete inheritance of "The Theory of Rites", so he cannot integrate it. It is like trying to A house is to be built, but the bricks, tiles, and wooden piles have not yet been assembled, and construction has not even begun. There is no sign of the foundation or the main body of the house.

If he really wants to turn these gains into his own knowledge and literary thoughts, he still needs at least a few years of thinking and studying.

From this point of view, Qiu Yan did take advantage. Through this game of chess, he not only comprehended the spirit of the two sages in "Tian Lun" and "Rectification of Names", not to mention Gao Song's final message about "Sacrifice" The realization of "the ritual" greatly benefited his soul and consciousness, and also laid the foundation and established the roadmap for the path forward of Shinto.

However, Gao Song didn't know about these things. He just regarded Qiu Yan's words as words of humility. He couldn't help but feel good about him, feeling that the other party was trying to save face for himself.

When Gao Song was studying, he had a pure heart. He just joined the school and went through layers of screening. Now he represents the academy. His heart cannot help but be mixed with worldly thoughts, so he is always vigilant and dare not relax for a moment. When he sees an outsider asking for advice, First of all, there will be malicious speculation, but at the bottom of it, there is still a trace of yearning and desire in my heart. It was mobilized by Qiu Yan's game of chess, and my mind was purified, which led to the current change. When talking to Qiu Yan , can make people feel respectful.

This attitude made some people around him feel contemptuous.

"Brother Gao, since you admit that you are inferior, you might as well let Hu try Master Qiu's methods." Soon, a person walked out of the crowd and was recognized as a disciple of Jiuyuan Academy, and others retreated.

This man was not polite, and after Qiu Yan's "please", he sat down in front of the chessboard with a calm demeanor.

Soon, a new round began, and the atmosphere in the building became peaceful again. But not long after, a group of people came outside the house, and the leader was none other than Zhen Zhizuo of Lizong Academy. (To be continued.
