"Vice captain, you're back." A small freckled boy forced out a smile as he greeted him.

"Yeah." Tobi sat down and looked around him, before taking out a piece of flat bread to gnaw on.

The dry flat bread was slowly chewed on inside his mouth, the feeling was as if he was chewing on a tree bark. Despite it taste, Tobi managed to swallow the bread with ease, but in doing so, he felt extremel pain from his stomach.

Prompting him to lay his back on the metallic plank wall of the carriage, as he chug down a mouthful of water. After he was done, he heave a turbid air.

"To...Tobi, i mean vice captain. What's the situation like? Just how many more days until we are out of this damn place?"

After Tobi finished eating, the freckled boy asked him a question. His question were clearly what everyone wanted an answer to, it drew everyone attention as they all turn to look towards Tobi.

"While riding the carriage, the knights lords had explained to me we've travelled more than half the distance. So if everything goes well from here, we'll reach our destination successfully, in another half a month."

"Eh? For crying out loud, there still half a month more? These had been the most tremble days of my life, I can't even stand just one more day in this hellhole."

The freckled boy complained, as he pulled his hair in frustration, this was even more worse than when he was ostracized in his village. Even though his live was in peril in his village, it wasn't to this extent, instead in this place he could die from a stray beast or watch himself gnawed on alive.

At this moment, a rhythmic chime of a bell, could be heard as the doors to the carriage were opened one after the other, revealing Elijah and Matthew, in light ċhėst plate armours, while Matthew held a short sword few inches long. 

"Hey, everyone! Break time is here! If you need to loosen up yourself a bit, just come outside. If you don't, then please stay inside, after all, the outside is quite dangerous.."

The carriage grew restless for a moment, before a few red-faced boys looked at each other in the eye, and walked out of the carriage.

Tobi shrugged his shoulders before grabbing a pair of silver claw gauntlet by his side, "Let's go."

As the vice captain of the guards, he needed to protect his alliance members. Even though all he could do was to at least maintain his vigilance, and call out for the black steel Knight to come help them if any trouble arose.

"I...I won't go down this time!" The freckled boy, spoke out from the side as he stuttered.

"Okay" Tobi gestured to the rest to follow him out of the carriage.

Landing softly on the soft patch of golden sand, Tobi couldn't help but stretch outward reflexing his muscles, as he wore his silver claw gauntlet on. A beautiful scenery veiled far beyond what his sight could see. If it weren't for the amount of danger in here, Tobi would have loved to go on alone walk.

"How beautiful!" Mattew said, as he watched the setting sun.

"With danger everywhere, sickness, famine, war, and the world is still filled with numerous varieties like these. We might start getting used to this area a threat to our lives, but to the black steel knight, this is might not be hard on them" Tobi commented.

"Are you trying to say that as long as you have strength, then you can obtain both freedom and safety?"

"Exactly! Take a look at everyone, all hint of survival had already been forsaken. On this life threatening event, who wouldn't be afraid even with the black steel knight around, everyone's life is still at stake. Even if we were to safely arrive at our unknown destination, our outcome are unlikely to be any better that this place. After all, we weren't taken out of our own free will, they were the ones who made our lives a living hell!"

Tobi, swipe his hands around as he got the hang of the silver claw gauntlet, "It's time to start our patrol"

Looking at Tobi's figure walk away, Elijah couldn't help his thoughts, as it sunk more to what Tobi said, "Strength!"

With a close shut eyes, Tobi spread his mind world mental energy, as he survey the areas.

Following the order of his thoughts, a three-D scenery began to visualize on the wall within Tobi's head, showing off the vicinity of the nearby surrounding. This was one of the major improvement and discovery, Tobi had grasped from his mind world even though the energy spent was nothing substantial, he could easily be replenish it within a few minutes or more.

Within the cerulean light geographical image, a cluster of white little phantom mannequin slowly formed. These little phantom mannequin symbolized the twilight children, not a single one seemed to be in a live threatening situation.

As for the black steel knights, surprisingly it was a lump of black gold. Within the mind world analysis, the cerulean sea below drained faster the moment it tried visualizing their existence.

A moment later, every single nearby location appeared within the mind world cerulean wall.

'Even if it's a beast, they won't be able to escape my mental world! As of right now, this area seem safe.'

This was a guarantee and his trump card that Tobi had, it was base on his mind world.

Although he was the vice captain member of the guard, he would never do anything to put himself in harm's way.

With his mental world, he had a firm grasp of everything happening in three metres (9..84foot) radius, and this would be the biggest guarantee to their safety.
