Dear Broom Knight

#18 - Lowry never looked back

Cesca had never understood why Master Lowry had no expectations of Count Montes like she did now.

No matter how sincere the Earl appeared, with Master Lowry's temper, the outcome would not change at all… Then his pretentious behavior was naturally just to soften Master Lowry, who had always been tough and never looked back, towards his first two sons.

Wishful thinking.

Over the years, the only one on the left wing that Master Lowry had a little bit of warmth for was the third young master who was 'forced' to be born because of Mrs. Yagris.

After confirming that the child's birth was just a waste of effort, he, who was about the same age as Master Lowry, lived a life unloved by his father and mother.

The second young master was already someone with little presence in the Earl's castle, but that third young master was even more impressive.

Sometimes, even at the Earl's rare family dinners, the eldest young master and his wife would forget to bring him!

It only got a little better after the Earl lost his temper a few times.

To be honest, Cesca always felt that the days of that young master named Kyle were not as good as her Taylor's.

Fortunately, his personality is not bad, and he is more pleasing than his parents… Cesca felt that Master Lowry would look at Kyle a little differently because this young master has a tenacious personality and a firm will.

He didn't get his parents' love, but he wasn't too persistent, and he didn't feel that life was bleak because of it, but he was just steadfastly pursuing his knight training.

Anyway, these resources were given by the Earl, and the eldest young master and his wife didn't care.

At any rate, he is their own flesh and blood, even if they don't value him, they won't deprive Kyle of what he deserves… It's just that they don't give him anything extra.

The clothes are also the kind of regular clothes that the Earl's castle collectively asks tailors to make every six months.

The only thing worth rejoicing about is that after the head maid of the left wing had an accident with Master Lowry, she was particularly strict in managing these daily trivial matters, and absolutely did not allow any servants to bully their master… Although this was aimed at Pat, it did indeed make the young master live a little better.

After all, his biological mother really didn't care much.

When he escaped from the dead corner of the castle, after Count Montes forced the information out, he was almost sweating profusely… He actually slipped out from the water vein.

Montes Castle does have an underground river, but the river channel is almost buried underground, and only the small lake in the back garden is on the surface.

Even so, the place where the small lake and the underground river are connected is firmly locked with sturdy black iron railings.

However, no one thought that the five-year-old Master Lowry could easily crawl into that railing, and also found a path directly to the mountains above the underground river.

Count Montes didn't know what to say at the time.

Although it seemed to be a path that only a child like Lowry could pass through, anyone with real combat literacy understood how easy it was to open up this path, and how inconspicuous it was.

But, even if Master Lowry's actions eliminated a huge hidden danger for the Earl's castle, but… was that a road that normal people could find?

Mrs. Yagris's subordinates actually unanimously believed that Count Montes had completely given up trying to win over his youngest son from that day on.

Everyone could see that there was nothing wrong with Lowry as a child, but, well, no one could easily control him.

Count Montes couldn't, and Lowry's bad but not bad, good but not good eldest brother, let alone.

This even had nothing to do with Mrs. Yagris herself.

Master Lowry usually disdained the left wing very much, except for Kyle, whom he occasionally saw in the corner.

I don't know whether it was out of sympathy or appreciation, but he would always give a little guidance, and even tell Kyle where it was more suitable for him to stay, and be able to hear others calling him.

Although no one cared, if they couldn't find him when they were looking for him, Kyle would definitely be punished.

Speaking of which, there were even mistakes in that child's knight training… After all, his eldest brother had not officially become a knight yet, and all the armed personnel on the left wing were acting around him, they would teach him seriously, but they would not discipline him seriously.

How could knight training be learned well just by relying on the things in class?

Every step, every punch, the direction of muscle exertion, all need to be carefully and meticulously studied.

No wonder Master Lowry couldn't help it, although his personality was a bit stubborn, he was always a good child.

When Cesca officially followed Master Lowry, both her family and Pat's mother repeatedly told her that she must tell Lowry the truth.

He won't directly think you're not good just because you made a mistake, and even if the mistake is only caused by insufficient strength or a bad brain, Master Lowry will laugh it off, as long as you don't make the same mistake again, he will even help you bear the consequences.

But if he finds out that you are lying to him, even if you are lying to him in the name of doing it for his own good, it will cause a very strong reaction.

Even the anger that parents cannot soothe, followers like Cesca and the others should not try to provoke at all.

They are not qualified to do so.

Cesca has been by Master Lowry's side for more than 3 years, and she has indeed always followed that bottom line, so she has always been highly valued.

How could it be that only a few of them really want to follow Master Lowry?

But even if they hide it well, they are all children after all, and it is difficult to hide it from shrewd and capable adults, let alone the very sensitive eyes of Master Lowry.

Cesca, who undertakes most of the work, actually occasionally wants a smarter helper… Comlan and Mar can gain a firm foothold because they don't think at all and never take any responsibility.

Of course, the work assigned to them will be completed 120%.

The little girl's big eyes staring at the small, pure white feather bird were shining brightly… If this pair of living feathers could be raised earlier, then she wouldn't have to worry about not being able to control so many subordinates with different thoughts!

Living feathers are creatures that will not transmit lies.

Therefore, as long as she has enough brains, even if the dialogue is sent back from the border of the Gezal Barony, she can distinguish between right and wrong.

As long as the origin of this pair of things is not stolen from a certain white dragon who is said to look at her Master Lowry differently, Cesca won't care so much!

The only thing she wants to know is: "I remember that Living Feathers want to apply feather magic to their feathers, at least level three?

And what about the advanced… what do advanced Living Feathers need?"
