Bodhisattva Ling Ji was extremely surprised that Tang Sanzang was able to escape danger, and asked: "I wonder how Elder Tang escaped from the demon's hands, did you encounter some fortuitous opportunity?"

Tang Sanzang said: "Buddha bless me. I had thought that I would lose my life in the hands of that demon, but unexpectedly, a few Supreme Immortals appeared and killed the demon to save the little monk."

Hearing these words, Bodhisattva Ling Ji's face changed, and he hurriedly asked: "Can Elder Tang describe them in detail, and I will go to thank you."

Tang Sanzang said: "There are a total of five people, three men and two women, but their faces have a faint divine light, I am unable to see their true appearance."

Bodhisattva Lingji asked again, "Is there anything special about them?"

Tang Sanzang thought for a moment before replying, "Speak. If there's anything special about it, it's only a little.

After the Bodhisattva Ling Ji heard this, he could not help but ponder: "Three men and two women have a foot long Soul Treasure, it seems like they are Kun Peng's disciples, but he did not expect Kun Peng to even bestow the Treasure of Acquired Karmic Virtue 'Nine Heavens Yang Merit Ruler' to his disciples, it seems like he is determined to obtain the Western Art."

The guide continued: "Regardless of whether this matter is successful or not, the West will definitely fall out with Kun Peng, so regarding the matter of going west to retrieve the scriptures, we will need to send more people to protect him, to prevent Kun Peng from getting angry and destroying it."
