So, the members of the night guard should not only consist of guardians. There should be elite townsmen as the members of the night guard. So Mars decided that all elite townsmen except Noah, should join the night guard.

However, with Mars's and Aria's explanations, they could put their hearts at ease. As they knew that Mars wouldn't make them cannon fodder. They could come and leave as they pleased with the teleportation scrolls.

However, Ace knew that the cannon fodder would be him, his family, and the other guardians. They would be the ones that would scout the battlefield, send the coordinates for the teleportation by guild channel. For a note, the guild channel was similar to the party channel. 

However from what Ace knew, while the party channel only had a short range, the guild channel could be used to communicate at a much wider range. As for how wide the range of the guild channel, he didn't know.

Ace then accepted the appointment of Mars. With the mature plan of Mars and the promise of preferential treatment for his future guild, he couldn't refuse it, right?
