Confusion. One single word but creates a lot of insecurities and makes a person's ability weak to take the right decision. We know what is correct most of the times but still, that confusion makes us to take a step back and think about it many times repeatedly that we question ourselves about our decision.

It creates an insecurity feeling that we don't listen to our inner heart and even to our gut feelings. Often we drown in our insecurities and confusion that we won't be able to take the right decision.

I always used to think that people don't listen to their hearts and brains to make the right decision but they always become victims of their loved ones listening to their decisions and believing them. I used to think that they lack the capacity of taking their own decision. But today i got it. It's not that they lack in it but it's our confusion which makes us to lean on others for the decisions. It's just that we are scared to take a decision in fear of losing when exactly we know what to do. It's just that we have to face the fact and accept it with wholeheartedly keeping our confusion and insecurities at bay. We have to listen to our gut feeling even though there is a lot of confusion and a lot of questions running in our mind.

We need to trust our heart and brain. We need to trust ourselves and our feelings first. Our brain always looks for the possibility of negative in each and every situation because it's the nature of the brain to think like that to protect us. But our heart is innocent as pure and it always suggests the positive. We need to decide it by ourselves about what decision to make depending upon the situation.

There will be a situation where we would be facing both routes where one leads to complete darkness and one leads to light. But we don't know what route to take. Then we need to trust our instincts because somewhere or other there will be clues given to us before but we just ignore them with a blind eye. We need to look at it carefully before making the right decision.

Standing there looking at the garden in front of me, I thought how peaceful nature can be. Many things were running in my mind at present and many questions were ready to come out at the moment but i felt somewhat relaxed breathing in the fresh air. I can feel that he is standing calmly behind me but didn't utter a question. I am glad that he is giving some time for me to cool down and sure enough I relaxed a little after coming out.

He slowly came to stand beside me all the while without saying a word and even i too did not attempt to start a conversation and was looking ahead of me in distance not watching anything in particular.

The cool air was flowing which is like a soothing to my body and there is a comfortable silence between us. I thought that the silence would be awkward but no, to my surprise it's comfortable around him that i liked being here like this. So we just stayed there watching nature and enjoying the silence for some more time.

He cleared his throat cutting through the silence and I glanced at him to continue. Because clearly he wants to talk and I can see it in his eyes that he is having a lot in his mind which he wants to express. So I stayed silent ready to listen to him this time without interrupting it. I think he too got my decision because he gave me a smile in a thankful manner which I returned with my own encouraging smile.

"I am sorry that you got to know like this. I know that it's surprising and shocking at the same time but trust me it was a confidential matter and my hands were tied up. I wanted to tell you before but there was never a correct time. Even now there are many things I want to share with you but i am scared that you might run away like you have done just before" he said looking at me with a smile forming on his face which made me chuckle listening to his words. I agree that I was scared for a second and it was overwhelming.

"I am sorry about earlier. It was just that my mind was running with a million questions and I was confused about how to react. It was so sudden and my insecurities got the best of me. But i am okay now." I explained looking at him sincerely so that he can get that i really am ok now.

"I know baby. I know. That's the reason i was scared to tell you in the first place. I know that you still need time to digest everything so i did not force anything on you. I know how that brain of yours work and how many questions run around it." he said grinning which made me blush slightly knowing that he knew me too well and i averted my eyes from him to look below.

"Shut up ok. It's better to clarify than be in doubt" I murmured still looking down.

"I agree and i am sorry for keeping you in the blind all these days. I just wanted to protect you and wanted to take everything slow according to your pace so that you won't get scared once again" I tried to explain to which i nodded in understanding because the truth is i loved the way he is caring for me and looking after me.

"I know. Thank you for that" I said smiling genuinely looking into his eyes and he too smiled by taking my both hands in his and making small comforting circles at the back of my hand.

He took me to the bench and we both sat there looking ahead of us while I placed my head on his shoulder and he kept his arm around my shoulder and taking hold of my right hand in his and folded it by intertwining our fingers together.

I released a sigh feeling happy and closed my eyes enjoying the comfort in his arms and being together with him like this.

"I promise you that I will explain everything when you are ready baby. It's still new to you to even accept me like this so I want you to become more comfortable around me before I tell you everything. You don't know how much I want to share it with you at present but at the same time I don't want to scare you off." he said explaining his reason to hide it from me and i understood it very well.

"I understand and I will wait for that day. I won't force you to tell me and I promise Abhi" I said sounding serious by looking at him to which he gave me his signature smile and kissed me at the top of my head making me close my eyes in return.

"But you know what i was very jealous when you were close to Dev. It's like i want to punch anything and everything because i cannot punch him knowing that he is your best friend and how much you value your friends," he said looking at the fountain and i got up from his shoulder and was glancing at him with curious eyes.

"Don't look at me like that. It's common to be jealous when we see our girl with any other person. Especially if we know that person has feelings for our girl," he said sounding jealous all of a sudden and was averting his eyes away from me blushing slightly.

I was smiling like an idiot and wanted to dance and jump up and down knowing that he was jealous of Dev and he likes me a lot. I know I am behaving like a teenager but I can't help it. I love that fact that he was jealous and he looked so cute with that embarrassing blush on his face that i want to kiss him right away.

"Is the great Abhilash Ponnam, the CEO of the Gordan Saint jealous of his employee Dev?" I teased him knowing that he will feel even more embarrassed and the fact that I am enjoying it a lot.

"Urghh... I should have admitted it in the first place. If I knew that you will pull my leg like this then i would have not shared this with you" he said pouting like a kid and was looking at me sulking which made me laugh like an idiot. My stomach was paining due to my constant laugh and I tried to compose myself after some time.

"You admitted it and can't take back. And the fact that you are looking so cute with that pout on your lips is the reason for my teasing. I got the point to tease CEO and i won't leave it that easily mister" I said wiggling my eyebrows playfully still laughing lightly.

"Don't call me cute. And Madam, i will show you what is teasing means" he said smirking at me making my laugh die down and I looked at him with wide eyes knowing that it won't end well.

"What you will show?" I dared him gulping by getting up slowly still looking at him warily to know his next moment.

"What? Are you scared now?" he smirked getting up and was looking at me with those mischievous eyes. Oh no, I know that look so well and it won't end well for me. I slowly backed away from him to escape before he executes his plan.

"Why are you backing away darling? You soo wanted to tease me a moment ago? What happened to that evil brain of yours now?" he started making his way towards me by taking slow steps all the while looking at me with those evil eyes.

"I.. I am.. I am not scared of you. It... It's just that i rem.. remembered that i have to go inside for some work" I said looking at the doorway to calculate my escape but i think he got my plan because the next moment he started striding towards me like a prey making me exclaim in surprise and i immediately turned towards the direction of the door and started running towards it without looking back.

Suddenly I was tackled to the ground by two strong arms wrapping around me. I came face to face with him on top of me who was giving me a smirk with a look of caught you while I was breathing heavily and was struggling to get out of his arms by trying to push him off of me but it was a futile try since he was a lot more stronger than me.

He pinned both of my arms above my head smiling with an evil glint in his eyes making me look at him with wide eyes not knowing about what he is going to do. And gave me smirk with a look that i didn't understand at first but soon enough he started tickling my sides making me squeal in surprise.

"Oh noo... Abh... Abhi...." I struggled with my words because he was not giving me time to take a breath and was tickling me continuously. That idiot. How did i forget that he knows my weakness on the first day itself?

"Please... Abhii... Stop..." I managed to utter in between my laugh and breaths.

"Nope, Agree that I am handsome and not cute. Then I might leave you in one piece" he gave me a wink looking at me grinning like an idiot he is. God he and his ego booster.

"Nooo...." I tried to argue but was becoming out of breath due to my continuous laugh. "Please Abhi... I am unable to breathe" I tried for his sympathy giving my puppy dog eyes.

"Nope. Don't give me that look, babe. I am not going to fall for your tricks. Admit it. otherwise, I won't leave you" he said smirking at me and looking with a face that I want to hit him with a stone so badly. I cursed at him in my brain for his strength and his good looks.

"Ok..." I gasped feeling defeated "I agree." I said in between my breaths

"What you agree beautiful?" he asked further making me sound in irritation but it came out like a squeal.

"I agree that you are handsome Ok," I said aloud so that he can listen to it well. He immediately stopped tickling me and released my arms grinning like a cheshire cat. I breathed in relief and took deep breaths to fill my lungs with air. He was watching me with amusement in his eyes all the while still on top of me.

"You idiot, You always use my weakness against me," I said slapping his shoulder to which he caught hold of my arms again smiling widely.

"What can i do, It's the only way you listen to my words," he said winking at me.

"You..." I started to curse him but was unable to complete because he put his finger on my lips making me close my mouth and look at him in confusion.

"Shhh... babe, you talk too much" he said smiling kindly which melted my insides.

I just blinked at him looking at his beautiful and handsome face while my eyes involuntarily went to his lips and i can see that he too was looking in between lips and my eyes. Suddenly the atmosphere around us turned hot and my heartbeat rose with anticipation.

He started lowering his head while i too started rising my head to meet him when we listened to our names calling out and froze on the spot coming out of our dream-like trance.

"Abhilash, Athira..." we turned our heads to look at his brother standing near to us by folding his hands and looking at us with an amusing expression.

"I thought it would take a lot of time to convenience you by seeing your reaction last time. But not bad Athira, I guess it didn't last long this time looking at your comfortable position," he commented teasing me by looking at both of us with an eyebrow raised in question and amusement.

I blushed like a tomato while Abhi was chuckling looking at my reaction. He got up and made me stand up by wrapping his arm around my shoulder. I didn't even dare glance at big brother because i am damn sure that he might be smirking at present.

"Oh stop teasing her Adi," Abhi said to his brother making me relax in his arms a little.

"Ya ya, already siding with your girlfriend now and leaving your brother?" he fake gasped making me look at him with amusement. "You hurt me Abhi" he placed his hand on his heart rubbing it like it pained him there which made both of us to roll our eyes together looking at his acting.

"Look, you both even roll eyes at the same time now. Woah..." he exclaimed making us look at him with a bored expression.

"Ok ok. Don't overreact now. I got it that i didn't officially introduce you to her." Abhi said making me look at him with curiosity. "Athira, this is my big brother and pain in this ass Advaith. And Adi, this is Athira" he said introducing us. I chuckled listening to his comment for his brother and extended my hand for him to shake.

"Oh no, no way that i am just going to shake your hand... Nahh... We are more than that" he said dramatically and took my hand by pulling me to him in a hug which surprised me at first. But then i smiled at his childish antics and wrapped my arms around him.

"We are more than just brother's girlfriend Angel. I hope you didn't forget that" he said still hugging me which brought a smile on my face even more.

"Ya ya. How can I forget my big brother? Though i got to know his secret now" I said looking at him with a smirk by removing myself from his embrace. He looked confused at my words so I continued "Your name though. Advaith" I said grinning like I won the game.

"Oh that... yeah," he said realising the fact that he did not reveal his name to me at our first meeting.

"Yeah, that..." I said mocking him to which he ruffled my hair playfully.

"Hey, I am here itself" Abhi commented

"Ya, i know. That's the reason I said it in the first place for you to listen" his brother commented in return.

"Don't make her cry again. Otherwise, you will have to face her big brother first" Advaith said looking seriously at his younger brother.

"That's not fair. You are my brother first" Abhi whined like a small child making me chuckle at his reaction.

"Yeah. Don't whine like a kid. But she is like a sister to me. So take care of her. She is precious Abhi" he said seriously by wrapping his arm around my shoulder and bringing me near to him. Abhi smiled at his brother genuinely by nodding his head in return.

"I will Bhai (brother). She is precious to me too. And you know that very well" Abhi said side hugging me from the other side which made me melt my heart looking at both of them.

What have I done to deserve both of them?
