Destiny or Coincidence?

It's been a week since we both got together and the news was spreading like wildfire in the office however much I tried to hide it from all. And it's all thanks to one particular chocolate brown eyes who couldn't keep his hands to himself and very much interested in showing off PDA like i am some treasure he won so suddenly. 

It's like he just wants to showcase to everyone that I am his trophy and only his that no can even glance at my way. I knew that this idiot was possessive much with the way he used to behave before our relationship started but it is showing a whole new level now as we became official. Even if anyone tried to glance at my way, the ghost inside him will come in an instant replacing the cool Abhi with this horror Abhi's personality making everyone near us to scramble away in fear of him. 

I can understand their fear though. He is the CEO of the company and everyone likes their jobs and wants to stick to it. So, no one would dare a glance at my way and keep their jobs at stake. It's annoying to see this side of him that sometimes I am getting irritated but sometimes it's cute to see him suffer from jealousy. 

The first day, when Monday came after our sleepover at Abhi's house, he directly came to our apartment to pick me up for the office. I tried to deny it but being stubborn as he is, simply lifted me in his arms and threw me in his car by practically kidnapping me and taking me to the office while all of my friends laughed at his stunt and waved goodbye to me. All the way to the office i just sulked in angry and avoided him like the plague by ignoring his every try to converse with me. 

But him being him, when we reached the office, he simply captured me in a hot searing kiss that I immediately melted into his arms making him smirk at my reaction.

After that, he simply took my hand in his while walking into the office by making every head turn in our direction to see at our adjoined hands in curiosity and utter disbelief. He ignored everything even if he saw their reactions and dragged me with him to the elevator to our floor as usual. Even in the elevator, he couldn't stop himself from kissing me and leaving me breathless. And I am being true to myself then I am gonna get addicted to his kisses if he keeps doing like this every time. 

When we reached our floor, everyone looked at us with surprise in their eyes that i wanted to run into my cabin and hide from all but then, he again kissed the side of my cheek by whispering 'good luck with trying to give all explanation to your dear friends' and went to his cabin with a smug face of his. 

I wanted to strangle him then and there itself but controlled myself from doing it and quickly ran to my cabin avoiding their questioning stares. But it didn't last long because immediately all my friends entered my cabin with a murderous look and warned me to split everything out that i got no choice but to explain everything to them. 

Once I finished it, they all exclaimed in happiness and congratulated me. I was happy to know that they are excited about our relationship and reacted positively. Some of them said that they guessed it with the way he looks at me every time which i was unaware of it since I was busy avoiding him all that time ago. 

But, from then on, whenever he gets the chance, he never failed to show his feelings in front of everyone that most of them got to know about our relationship status and it was no secret now. Even Omisha comes every day to my cabin to chit chat with me and to inform me about new gossip in the office on our grooming relationship. Looks like, some bitches are jealous about our relationship that they are accusing me of sleeping with him. But then, Omisha encouraged me by saying positive things and said to ignore them. 

At first, it was difficult to ignore that hate comments, but my friends and most of them were happy that I started ignoring them and now looking at the bright side of it. Dating the hottest bachelor CEO has its perks and hatred from the other girls. I need to be ready to face them all. So I made up my mind to ignore all the negative comments about our relationship and concentrate on my friends, job and my Abhi who is very persistent about my attention towards him. 

Even at lunchtime, our gang increased with Omisha, Advaith and Abhi joining our group and making it even more lively than before. At first, many used to look at our table with surprise eyes but now they got habituated to it. 

What I like the most is, Abhi always catches my hand in his and never leaves it even when we are eating. He always looks for a way to touch me which makes me laugh at his childishness and fall for him even more than now.

Rishi and Riya left the other morning for their office after the sleepover and promised to visit again soon. I kind of felt emotional when she left but then was all set to meet her again next week. 

Brother was trying to get the attention of Omisha while me and Abhi were creating the situations were they both stuck with each other often so that they can spend time together to get to know each other. I know it takes time for Omisha to consider about his feelings but hope that everything will turn out perfectly later.

On the other hand, Dev was getting tensed all over to propose Charitha about how he feels towards her and asked Abhi and brother to come home today since it's Friday to discuss about some plan to propose to her. I am looking forward to this plan since I am excited to see both of my friends get together that I even made a bet with my dad that Dev will propose her within this month whereas dad was hell-bent that he will take his sweet time. Now we have to see what he will do about it. Of Course, Abhi was on dad's side in this case and we all argued about this. 

Well, when i first said to dad about our relationship i thought that he might get angry for not saying to him, but he surprised me by saying that he knew it would happen and he was very happy knowing that we are together now. He said that when he gets the time, he will definitely come to visit me and Abhi to officially meet him. And even Abhi spoke to dad two times o the call and it looks like they are on good terms which left me in content knowing that he approved of us. 

By the time we reached home, I was so exhausted but still was waiting for my boyfriend and brother to know what's happening because this idiot Dev is hell-bent on not saying anything until or unless they come. I so wanted to strangle him at this moment but controlled myself from doing it. In this past week, even Abhi and Dev became close forgetting about their hatred towards each other which made me happy and annoying too that they tease me sometimes by forming a team and leaving me out. 

"Dev… please tell me what is running in your mind. I swear that i won't say to anyone that you have said to me" I tried to reason with him by showing my puppy dog eyes to which he often falls. 

"No can do Choti. I know that look very well and it won't work out on me this time. So hold on to your horses until they come" he said smugly by ruffling my hair and going to the kitchen to cook something for us. 

"Urghh… Damn you Dev" I groaned like a baby who was said that she won't get her favourite candy. He chuckled listening to my groans but just whistled on his way.

"Always the curious one" he muttered with an amused tone making me huff out in annoyance.

"Of course I am and you know it very well," I said as a matter of fact and followed him to the kitchen to pester him for the information.

"You need to wait until they come or call your boyfriend to get his ass here soon then" he stated shrugging his shoulders in response and started chopping the vegetables. 

"Fuck you," I said taking my mobile and dailing to Abhi to know where they are. 

Yes, I am eager to know about his plan to propose to her. Call me hopeless like that. Because I ship them from the start that I am excited to know his plans for proposing her. 

"Hey, Cutiepie… Did you miss me already that you are calling me immediately after you reached home?" he said teasingly immediately after lifting my call. I just rolled my eyes to his comment in return.

"You wish darling," I said as teasingly in return to make him chuckle through the call which made me smile in return.

"Ouch... Damn straight baby damn straight. You could have at least faked it" he said sounding fake hurt that I giggled to his response.

"Truth hurts darling," I replied smugly making him groan in return that I laughed out loud. 

"Where are you anyway?" I asked once i sobered up.

"On the way. Will reach with in 15 min." He said from the other side.

"Come soon. This idiot here is not going to tell me anything unless you arrive here it seems" I complained looking at a certain face who is leisurely cutting vegetables with a smile on his face while listening to my conversation with my boyfriend. He just rolled his eyes at my comment and continued on his work. From the other end, Abhi was laughing like a maniac listening to my words that I want to shut his mouth this instant.

"Shut up ok," I said with tipped lips.

"Ok Ok. So that was the reason for your call? Damn. Here I thought that my girlfriend was missing me" he said faking his hurt making me roll my eyes again at his comment. 

"You are so full of yourself Mr Abhilash Ponnam. Please stop daydreaming and land on our house as soon as possible" I said with a somewhat desperate voice.  

"God babe. Control your curiousness. Will be there within 10 minutes max. But I need my daily dose for sure" he said disconnecting the call that I scowled at my mobile for a moment in return. 

"Scowling at your mobile will give you nothing except some wrinkles on your face Choti" commented Dev with a somewhat teasing voice. I can hear his laughter in his voice that I snapped my head and threw a pillow at him by making him laugh out loud in return. 

I just huffed and sat on the sofa with my hands folded and legs wrapped inside. 

"You are such a kid sometimes. Can't wait till 10 minutes?" Asked Dev with a tone of amusement still present.  

I just ignored his comment and started changing the channels on the TV for the rest of the time when the bell rang, indicating that they came. But i just sat at my place like a sulking puppy and was acting being busy by flipping through the channels. Dev just sighed looking at me and answered the door while I averted my eyes from him. 

But what they don't know won't hurt right? And some acting can't make anyone hurt. So it's fine i think. I can hear multiple footsteps coming towards my way when suddenly someone crashed on me from behind making me squeal in surprise. Fuck, i didn't expect this reaction from that idiot. 

"God Abhi. Leave me you pig" I shouted trying to break free from his grip and squirming under his weight while he just started laughing like an idiot.

"No can do darling. I know that mood very well and I am not going to leave you unless you feel better" he said as a matter of fact and started kissing my neck from the back making me somewhat weak in his presence. 

"Abhi leave me. I am fine" I said trying to get out of his grasp and even trying to ignore his sweet assault on my neck. But it's very hard to ignore when every fibre in your body is betraying to that feeling that you want nothing but to surrender to his assaults. I groaned internally for having this effect on me. 

"No babe. I am sorry for pulling your leg. I was just teasing you." he said turning me towards his side in his arms and looking me into eyes. "I am a sorry babe. Can we please forget that and start our conversation with Dev? I know you are still eager to know what it is about." he said pecking my lips and looking at my reaction. He is right about that eager part and however much I act that i am not curious, i know for a fact that they know how much of an idiot I am for curiosities. 

"What do you say?" he asked with a hint of teasing in his tone that i just pouted in return making him grin at my reaction and capture my lips in a tender kiss. 

God, these kisses will be the death of me. I moaned and responded with equal passion and forgot about my anger on the spot. This is what he does always but i don't mind until I get to taste his kisses. 

"These love birds started again" groaned brother and went towards the dining table to take a seat in front of Dev. We both parted when we were out of breath and he kissed my forehead with a grinning face and dragged me with him towards the table. 

"So, what is it that you want to tell us which is making my girlfriend this curious?" asked Abhi raising an eyebrow at Dev while taking a seat beside brother and making me sit beside him. I just rolled my eyes at his comment and took my place.

"Ya, even i am curious as Athira. But did not say out loud because of being man" Asked brother with the same curiosity in his eyes and voice which made me chuckle in return listening to his man word. I just nodded my head in return while trying to control my laugh.

"Heard that angel," said brother with a smiling face. 

"Yes you surely did," I said with an amused voice.

"Ok. The thing is, i need help with all this proposing stuff you know" said Dev looking a bit shameful as if talking about this with Abhi and brother left him embarrassed. 

"Wait wait wait… Did i hear it right? You are asking about the proposal?" asked brother with genuine confusion in his eyes making Abhi look at Dev with a smug look challenging to spill the beans about everything. I had an idea that he was unaware of Dev and Charitha's relation but now it's confirmed. Dev did not directly say to Abhi that it was Charitha all this time but Abhi kind of knew with his observation skills. So now that Abhi got the chance, he is trying to pull the leg of Dev's which is very entertaining if you ask because the look and uncomfort in Dev's face is clearly visible that he was squirming in his place like a baby. 

"Ya Dev, what is this proposal? Can you please enlighten us here" asked Abhi feigning innocence making me laugh out loud but controlled immediately by biting my lip because of the look Dev is giving me right now.

"Ugh... Fine. I kind of like Char, so i want to propose to her. And I need your help in doing that. Happy?" he said with gritted teeth making us enjoy his situation even more. 

"Like? I thought we propose if we love. Right, Adi?" asked Abhi with the same innocent voice and acting as if he is genuinely confused about that statement. 

"Ya, even i thought the same. And what is this i am listening… Char?" brother fake gasped as if he is surprised "now they are on a nickname basis too?" continued by pulling the leg of Dev. 

"Ha. Tell us Dev. Is it love or like and what is this Char?" asked Abhi turning to an angry bird that is Dev. Good for him. He teased me all throughout the day and now it's his turn. 

What? I am psycho like that. 

"You won't let it pass right?" asked Dev by scratching his neck with his right hand to which the boys shook their head in no. 

"Ok. Yes, I love her and want to propose to her. So, now will you please please help me out here" said Dev, at last, coming to the boys' terms and accepting his defeat which made them to grin from ear to ear and tackled Dev to the ground with their bro hugs and shouted congratulations and beat him. I laughed like an idiot looking at these boys and their weird behaviour of congratulating. Thank god that i am not a boy. 

"Ok, what help you need from us?" asked brother after composing themselves and taking their respective seats.
