"Th-th-THAT was AMAZING!!" the girls squealed in awe.
"He controlled mana separately!"
"Did you see that control, Sally?!"
"He didn't even use Ether!!"
"How the heck did he DO THAT?!"
"WA-was he sent by the ancient temple god?!?"
Squeals of awe and praise could be heard from near the entrance of the Women's communal bath. Sadly, only empty housing surrounded the noisy girls, meaning no one else saw or heard anything that happened there. The chief and the informant on his side had kept their gaze on the little dark-skinned redhead, without a blink. The chief couldn't help but think back to the extreme level of control of mana this child, with no experience in life, had shown. The smooth, unfragmented flow of mana like that, he had never seen, even in the past by bigshots from the 'higher place'.
*GRrgrr*
A roar came...
From Nero's stomach.
...
Instantly, the silence that came after dissolved into laughter. Nero felt incredibly embarrassed, though he was clueless as to why. After a bit of thinking, he realized he didn't feel comfortable with people laughing at him and blamed it on human nature.
-
'Nova, What are my electrolyte levels?'
.Minimal, estimated levels: 20%. The user is advised to eat sugar and salt-filled foods.
-
"I'm hungry..." said Nero, clutching his stomach lightly.
"Hey, Come to my house, my mom's the best at cooking, we'll treat you to some exotic seafood as well!" Cyl said gently with a light smile, her massive curves bouncing and jiggling lightly.
"Okay..."
More squeals came from the girls, looking at Nero shying away was, admittedly, adorable.
His exterior surface of shyness greatly differed from what was beneath.
'Could this go any more perfect? No way is the answer... Good food, an opportunity for squish-squish, and probably a good source for more information' Nero peeked a look at the chief, who had his head tilted from his show before, still in a daze, like nothing could snap him out of it.
Nero was dying to know more about this magical fantasy of a world, so when better to start than now?
"Mister"
A voice came from below, snapping chief out of the seemingly never-ending daze. He felt a light tug on furry Kimono. Looking down he saw Nero shivering ever so lightly, showing he didn't want to bother anyone with his condition.
"I'd like to know more, please... about the world..." said Nero, with a slight jitter.
It was like fate.
That's how Chief felt at that moment.
"Ehehehe, Well boy, yer timin' was impeccable! This old man just happen'd to be searching fer a new student... Y' mind?"
"EHH?! I-I..." taking a deep breath, to make it look like he was calming himself, Nero viciously smiled under the veil.
"Y-yes..."
Right after chief announced his request, the girls felt mild amnesia coming over.
They'd just been handed a Double Whammy.
To them, the chief was known as a figure of respect. With this new relationship between the anomaly of a child and the Respected one, one could only look up to them in awe.
.The user is advised to greet Big boy chief with the title of 'Master', to fit in more with this world's interactions.
'Really?! I'm probably like 200 years older than this guy... if anything he should show respect to me, cause I'm the eldest one here!' A tinge of regret came in the end, certainly better than the worst-case scenario, which was being killed by a Vile tribesman, brutally, and eaten raw.
"In the 180 years of my life, never have I seen such Unbridled Genius from a youth yer age... That level of skill usually needs years of o' practice." As if the heavens wanted to prove Nero wrong, the old man told his age, once again filling him with inquisition and curiosity.
'HOW the FUCK did he manage to do that?'
.The user also shows similar traits. The rate of cell decay has plummeted in the user's body, suggesting there was a compositional change in the matter in the current body.
'OH... I should've guessed, it's MAGIC, isn't it... It's FUCKING magic!' Nero was experiencing some issues, putting it bluntly. In the few hours since Nero's awakening, He had seen more physics-breaking phenomena than the number of times he'd talked to other people in his old world, which was more than a handful, mind you, making him feel annoyed for even putting his focus into physics. He felt safer knowing cosmology, at the time, than knowing about physical objects. He had no use for it, not in this world, or even in the universe, he felt like he had wasted his time.
Naturally, he didn't show any of his frustration through his body, it would've been quite an odd sight if he did.
.Alert, energy levels in the body have rapidly decreased, adrenaline has used up high amounts of energy. The user is advised to refill his glucose levels as well as enter the dream state without high blood flow to continue functioning unhindered.
Cyl's invitation was exactly what he needed, it checked many things off his prioritized to-do list. Before he left with the greenhead, Nero was told by the chief to meet him near the temple lands east-bound from where they were, to which Nero instantly agreed to. To him, it simply meant more opportunity for gaining the scarcest type of wealth, Information.
This world was dangerous, and Nero understood that. Adding to that, he was now a weak little kid, one with more than enough brain, but too little brawn to cope with. He would have higher chances of survival with more brawn than brain here... but this only applied right now.

With enough data, flipping the table took no more than a finger, if he knew enough, about this place, about mana, and especially about himself, then he did not doubt surviving through most, if not all, obstacles he could think of.

Situated a few hundred meters south from the communal bath, A large house decorated with flowers and glowing stones, illuminating the surroundings, could be seen. This house did not have a second story however, its height was unmatched by the surrounding neighborhood.
To describe the positioning of this house, one would have to know of the sectioning throughout Pinnacle.
The village had many empty houses, devoid of any scampering life forms. This fact was especially emphasized as one ventured further uphill, towards the temple region.
Cohabitation. Common human instinctual nature. In this village, it played a great role.
A few years back, this crater-based Village was chaotic, not as in destruction, but as in the flow of living, it was all over the place, crime rates were sky-high, systems put in place by those with authority had no effect, growth was extremely unstable, and the rate of conflicts only increased.
With a simple change by the Respected One, everything changed.
The chief proposed the idea of micro-communities.
With the increasing level of demand for various goods, jobs were abundant. The chief made small neighborhoods with people who had similar jobs. He also distributed the competition by dividing larger communities like that of clothing manufacturing, and other large scale businesses. Essentially, the chief split everyone up, then remerged them in small groups, based on what they did for a living.
After making some small shifts and tweaking the system... Voila, the village's stability jumped.
Right now, Nero was in a micro-community, one based on clothing manufacture, in section B-64. Section B-64 was based on the South-West of the ancient temple, about a mile or so from it.
The building Nero was in gave the feeling akin to a town Hall. Thick tall pillars seemingly made to hold up the roof and colored tinted glass gave the entrance and interior a grand feel. This hall was the residence of the head of clothing, Cyl and her mother, Cecil.
With long majestic emerald hair, one could see Cyl obtained her hair color from Cecil. Cecil had the look of a mature woman, with a very slight, yet noticeable, wrinkle on her nose, and a gaze full pf experience. Her chest size, however, was surpassed by her daughter's, which gave her a sense of shame.
The father of Cyl and lover of Cecil was a traveler, one who had achieved basic control, the first level, over mana at the age of 20, which was an excellent extremely young age, compared to the fighters in the village who took usually 40 years or more.
Known to the people of Pinnacle, there are 3 achievable states of mana control.
These states follow in order and one could only achieve the next with decades of practice. This wouldn't be the case if one had 'Ether', a mineral-like rock that gave off a faint blue glow when given heat. Essentially, ether blocks increased the pressure of mana in the surroundings and decreased the mental strain placed on the mind, increasing the speed of mana rejuvenation as well as prolonging the time one could freely control mana without strain on the mind and body.
The first state of Mana Control is known as the basic control, or the 'Hunter' level.
When reached, one could freely control mana with their mind. This controlled mana, at the start, gives off a light red hue, and, with the structure, cut through any medium as dense as wood. The strain put on the mind is quite low, one could easily manipulate this type of mana for a few minutes, reaching up to 30 minutes if needed.
There is also a strain on the body, for reasons unknown to the villagers, when higher amounts of mana are controlled. The reason is that the skin pores which enable mana in the body to escape, over time, physically strain the body as well as leave it dehydrated, thus, there was a limit to how long one could rejuvenate mana.
The next state of mana control is known as proficient control, also known as the 'Slayer' level.
When reached, a slayer can control red mana, also known as 'Basic mana', with incredible ease. They can also condense red mana, making the hue of mana deeper and deeper until it reaches an orange shade. This mana is known as 'Adept mana'. With even minimal control, this mana can split any medium less dense than thin metallic minerals with weaker than average bonds, with high precision.
What massively differentiates this state from the previous is the ground-breaking gained. A slayer could, in small effect, use mana right after it was breathed and absorbed into the bloodstream, being released back into the lungs and being exhaled through the orifices. This meant that players could control a higher content of mana with a lower strain on the body.
The last known state one can reach in mana control is control master, also known as the 'Demon' level.
When adept mana is controllable with ease and one can finally condense mana into a fiery yellow shade, known as 'True mana', a Demon is born.
In between each state, there are 5 steps to show one's growth in mastery over time.
'Beginner' 'Amateur' 'Novice' 'Skilled' 'Peak'
One can determine what step they are at simply by comparing the strongest shade they can condense to a chart with different shades for each step.
With his AI and experience, Nero already possessed beginner basic control, without the use of Ether.
A state that took warriors an astounding amount of years to reach.
"Th-th-THAT was AMAZING!!" the girls squealed in awe.
"He controlled mana separately!"
