Divine Costume Holy Sword Fafnir

Continental Anomalies (8)

The town of Angus has been overnight since the demonic raid.

One bottle away from that boulevard - in a room in the Golden Blessing Pavilion, an inn facing a narrow alley - Gui Ki Man was sleeping for the first time in two weeks.

The door to his room like that gets knocked several times.

"... who?

I get out of bed reacting unconsciously to the sound I hear.

I don't feel particularly murderous.

"It's Ishberd. The mayor said he wanted to talk to Mr. Kazt."

"Lord Helibain?

"Yes."

Ishberd must have been the only person I've been with for a long time.

The question is, what can the mayor do for me...

"Okay. Just give me a minute."

"Waiting for you"

I'm going to say something a lot more polite.

Maybe I should see it as something with a lower heart.

I take my toenails out of my chest pendant and put them on, and then I put the wooden knife on my back.

"Well, let's go."

When I got out of the room, I thought Ishberd was the only one waiting, but Ishberd and the one with long ears? - So, there was.

"Mr. Kazt. I'm taking a few human beings to report the status quo to Master Baltia at the border, so..."

"Right. Be careful."

Ishberd just said he was done talking and said, "Yes. Ask this man, Alice, for guidance on the town," he said, going down the stairs of the inn.

"Oh, um..."

"- Hmm?"

"I say, Alice the Elf. The Mayor of Helibain told us about the town."

"Elves?"

Never heard of it.

I know if you're a White Dragon god or a Black Dragon god or a Demon god, but I've never heard of an elf.

Neither did my grandfather say it existed to speak of the Elves.

"The Elves have moved from the Elf Gardens of the Elal continent. Because of this, it is a species that was not originally inhabited in Altrus."

"I see...... But I heard that El Al is on the south side of Lawrence."

"Mr. Kazt is familiar with geography."

"No, I just heard it, too."

"Really..."

I guess I was expecting something.

An elf woman named Alice has shown a slightly sunken look.

Should I change the subject for now?

"Has Alice lived in this town for a long time?

She shakes her head at my inquiry.

"We like to live in places with lots of forest."

"A place with lots of woods?

"Yes, the Kaisel Empire was a fertile land until twenty years ago"

Twenty years ago?

Alice nods at my inquiry and opens her mouth.

"Now, in the elf forest, which no longer existed but existed in the south, the elves that had crossed from the continent of El Al lived"

"Were you living?

"Yes. Formerly I had interactions with the Kaisel Empire, but the forest was swallowed up in the desert. So you annexed me to the Kaisel Empire... but it still means that the race is different -"

"You said you were in persecution?

"No! The queen Yurika has invested in improving the status of our elves and good offices, so we can now live normally. And we're good at spiritual magic."

"Spirit magic? It's not like normal magic?

"Yes."

"Oh well..."

Three daughters in the Principality of Alto told me that it was after they taught me what skills were, and yet another magical definition came up that I had never heard of.

The world seems bigger than I thought.

It would mean that if the continent were different, the magic system would be different.

More than that...

"Alice. What do you mean, Yurica?

"Yes, the late queen of His Majesty Caizardo de Caizel."

"Right..."

"Did you do something?

"No, it's nothing"

From Alice's story, Kaisard's wife is my mother.

"Dear Kazt, is it time to meet the mayor of the town?

"Right... right..."

For now, just the information from Alice will skew the guiding principles of action.

I have to listen to a lot of people and look at things multilaterally.

I'll be out of the inn after Alice gets down the stairs.

And when I got out of Inn Street, I hit and changed from yesterday and the boulevard was quiet.
