Dominant And Submissive

1 -I'sVE SEEN HIM SOMEWHERE-

Sarah's POV

"You what? " my best friend  Elizabeth  yelled at the mentioning of Alexander's name.

"You..  You..  You spoke,  no, no, not spoke,  she corrected herself,  you mean you had the chance to chit chat with an "ALICANTÉ "?, not just an ALICANTÉ,  but Alexander Alicanté?

She questioned with wide eyes,  did  you even know who Alexander Alicanté  is?

I raised a confused brow at my best friend  with my face not trying to know what's  going on right now,  but who the hell are the Alicanté?  Are they popular?  Working for the president?  I questioned Izzy with my hand finding  it's  way to my crunches snack.

The ALICANTÉ,  the ALICANTÉ!  She kept on repeating it over and over again.

"C'mon Izzy" what the fuck is going on?, now things are getting out of hand, my best friend is acting all stupid,  I just don't get it, what is it with the Alicanté?

I watch as Izzy pressed her iPod with great strength and reproach.

"Here! " she handover the iPod to me,  I looked at it to see,  Alexander and a familiar  Guy which I know looks familiar to me,  but can't recall, where and when".

My jaw dropped,  when  I saw Alexander, not just Alexander,  but the ALICANTÉ  was the  Second richest Mexican Household,

Alex is the second son to Valentino ALICANTÉ, of ALICANTÉ Enterprise.

My eyes could poop out any minutes from now,  I just can't believe  it,  because when Alex was with me,  I know his Accent where a replica  of a rich person,  but he dressed in a simple guyly way,but I must confess  that he had a body of  a model,. "Holy  fuck! "

Izzy snatched  the iPod  from my hand,  I was dumbfounded,  as she starts to give emphasise of the ALICANTÉ'S.

This is Valentino Alicanté,  their dad.

This is Regina Alicanté,  their mom.

This is Xemena  Alicanté  their Sister,  but she's  married now to Inigo Montoya the owner of shipyards  transportation.

This is Alexander Alicanté.

And lastly this is Jace Alicanté,  the eldest and the hottest and the heartless of the ALICANTÉ  gene,  he's  the heir to the ALICANTÉ  Airways,

I watch as she point at the iPod showing me  one  person  at a time and explaining each status about them.

I tried to recall were I've  meant this JAce Alicanté,  I know I've  seen someone  like him somewhere  but don't know where,  and when.

Oh shit!

"You spoke to an ALICANTÉ! " I'm  so so proud of you Sarah,  ain't you full of surprises.

She hugged me so tightly,  I tried to breath, then she let me go when she  notice that I'm  about to die.

"so,  " she smiled  like a pig looming at me,  with a tease eyes.

"So,  what? " I raised  a confused brow at her,

"So,  you've  got his number? " you know,  Alex , Number,  you've  got it right? " she smiled at me nochanlantly   .

"Well? " common Sarah,  talk to  me,  she smiled crazily waiting for my reply.

But I know,  my reply to her will get me parking to hell, I gently got up and carried my bag, before she knew it I ran out screaming "No. "

I'm  dead,  I know,  I didn't  bother to turn back to loom at her killing expression.

. .

My heart is pounding. The elevator arrives on the first floor, and I scramble out as soon as the doors slide open, stumbling once, but fortunately not sprawling on to the immaculate sandstone floor. I race for the wide glass doors, and I'm free in the bracing, cleansing, damp air .

Raising my face, I welcome the cool refreshing rain. I close my eyes and take a deep, purifying breath, trying to recover what's left of my equilibrium.

No man has ever affected me the way Alexander Alicanté has, but looking at JAce Alicantés photos,  I know I've  seen him somewhere  before,  and it makes  my heart pounds, and I cannot fathom why. Is it his looks? His civility? Wealth? Power? I don't understand my irrational reaction, or is it the way Izzy praised and described  him? .

I breathe an enormous sigh of relief. What in heaven's name was that all about? Leaning against one of the steel pillars of the building, I valiantly attempt to calm down and gather my thoughts. I shake my head. Holy crap – what was that? My heart steadies to its regular rhythm, and I can breathe normally again. I head for the car.

As I leave the city limits behind, I begin to feel foolish and embarrassed as I replay all  that Izzy  said about JAce Alicanté  in my mind. Surely, I'm over-reacting to something that's imaginary.

Okay, so he's very attractive, confident, commanding, at ease with himself, at least that's what Izzy said bout him– but on the flip side, he's arrogant, I can see it in his looks,  and Izzy said it too,  that by interviews and all,  that's Jace is controlling, that Alex is easily , and for all his impeccable manners, he's autocratic and cold.

Well, on the surface. An involuntary shiver runs down my spine. He may be arrogant, but then he has a right to be – he's accomplished so much at such a young age. He doesn't suffer fools gladly, but why should he? Again, I'm irritated that Izzy didn't give me a brief biography.

While cruising along the Himey, my mind continues to wander. I'm truly perplexed as to what makes someone so driven to succeed and the age of JAce Alicanté . And for  Alex Some of his answers were so cryptic – as if he had a hidden agenda.

And Izzy question about having Alex's  number – ugh! The silly reply! I shudder. I can't believe. Ground, swallow me up now! Every time I think of that question in the future, did you have his number? , I cringe with embarrassment. Damn.

I scold myself. I decide that all in all, it's been a very interesting experience, but I shouldn't dwell on it. Put it behind you. I never have to see him again. I'm immediately cheered,

"Sarah! You're back." my mom sits in Izzy's study table .

"I was beginning to worry. I expected you back sooner."

"Oh, I thought I made good time considering the stress in the coffee shop ." I hand over the can of coffee to her,  since she texted me when I was coming.

My mom came to visit,  and she'll be leaving tonight or tomorrow,  I'm glad she came, but Izzy was at her parent house for weekdays visit.

"Sarah, thank you so much for doing this. I owe you, I know. How was work today? I hope it wasn't stressful and I hope no cute guys gave you hard time making coffee  for them. ?"

Oh no – here we go Izzy inn,  Inquisition, I was not yet home from running away from her questions about having Alexander  ALICANTÉ's phone number,  she has already phone my mom and tell her

I struggle to answer her question. What can I say?

"I'm glad I meant him, and I don't have to see him again. He was rather intimidating, you know." I shrug. "He's very focused, intense even – and young. Really young."

My Mom gazes innocently at me. I frown at her.

"Don't you look so innocent. Why didn't you give me a biography of them since you know a lot about the rich people in the world? He made me feel like such an idiot for skimping on basic research." my mom clamps a hand to her mouth.

"What are you talking Bout? " I watched my mom confused look,  then I knew that Izzy didn't  call her,  or told her anything.

Fuck!  I'm  screwed,

"Jeez, Sarah,"

" I'm sorry mom – I didn't think."

I huff.

"About who? " she gave me the spill  now graze,

"Common tell me" she suggested,  I huff and sighed.

Here's goes nothing .

"Mostly he was courteous, formal, slightly stuffy – like he's old before his time. He doesn't talk like a man of twenty-something. How old is he anyway?"

"Who? " my mom questioned , as if I'm  going crazy,  oh  mom,  I'm  talking about Alexander  and Jace Alicanté.  I huff on my breath.

"Twenty-Six for Jace,  24 For Alex. Jeez, Sarah,

My mom looked at me with wide eyes,  "Why asking about the Alicanté?

"You look better. Did you eat your soup?" I ask,  to change the subject.

"Yes, and it was delicious as usual. I'm feeling much better." She smiles at me in gratitude. I check my watch.

"I have to run. I can still make my shift at the coffee shop,  since I've  two shift today, "

"Sarah, you'll be exhausted."

"I'll be fine. I'll see you later."

I've worked at Lindsey Coffee shop since I started at Webster university . It's the largest coffee shop in Himey area, and over the four years I've worked here, I've come to know a little bit about most everything we sell – although making cakes is included, I'm crap at any Tea making. I leave all that to Ozzay and Rita.

I'm much more of a curl-up-with-a-book-in-a-comfy-chair-by-the-fire kind of girl. I'm glad I can make my shift as it gives me something to focus on that isn't thinking about where I've  seen Jace Alicanté or remember about my chitchat with the second richest Mexican guy in the world, We're busy – it's the start of the summer and I want my remaining  shift to be good without any Jace  or Alex handsomeness  in my mind.

But I swear  Izzy  is so going to kill me and feed me to the vulnerable Zombies  of the movies.

God help me.
