Dominating Evolution of the Cosmos

147 One Against Three Bonus for 600ps

Stuart's actions were seen by both the recruits and the veterans. Even the officers and the instructors in the surveillance room witnessed what had happened.

"Are all of the recruits in this batch so crazy?" Lieutenant Terry asked, surprised. His comment was then followed by a chorus of other commentary among the group...

"Why did he do that? How does it benefit them? He'll drag himself down in the end!"

"To be merciful to the enemy is to be cruel to our side. He's going to end up upsetting the veterans."

"What did this fellow do to Jonathan in the black mist, as he was actually able to defeat Jonathan?!"

"This is one ruthless character!"

"He deliberately tempted Jonathan to kill him just now. Could he be hiding his strength?"

The instructors were also surprised by Stuart's seeming madness. On the other hand, the veterans were outraged! Now, the recruits would have to endure tremendous pressure in the next challenge or group battle.

Chief Instructor Wendy said calmly, "Wow. His using despicable methods to reach his goal shows that he's pretty cunning."

As one of the top commanding officers, Wendy looked at the matter from a different angle from the others, while the others only focused on Stuart's dishonorable behavior. What Wendy saw was that Stuart had done his job well, and despite his despicable tricks, he had achieved much better results than Andrew had.

Stuart's goal in the fight was to defeat his opponent, and no matter what methods he had used, he had accomplished his goal. Moreover, he had only had to pay the minimum price for it, unlike Andrew, who had been beaten badly and only barely won with luck in the end.

In addition to his personal strength, Stuart had relied on his own wisdom for the victory. However, he seemed to have other intentions as he fought in this round, which made his victory a little less pure somehow.

"Haha, that's interesting! The previous fighter Andrew seemed reckless at first, but he was actually detail-oriented and smart!" Commander-in-Chief Nickerson laughed and said. "Stuart did everything he could to achieve his goal. He was vicious and ruthless. I don't know how many potential characters are like him among the recruits."

There was no doubt that, in order to accomplish the mission, people like Stuart would not hesitate to sacrifice even their teammates. However, this was not necessarily wrong, as the success of any mission on the battlefield would inevitably have a great impact on the fighters on that field.

Sometimes, such an insidious, tough, and ruthless character, who would do anything to achieve a purpose, was needed. Regardless, many officers were surprised to see the Commander-in-Chief be so interested in the recruits.

Nickerson and Wendy were mainly in charge of the military base, one of them being the Commander-in-Chief in charge of the battlefield, while the other was the main leader of force in the wars. Thus, one used their brain and the other used force.

Moreover, one was the smartest person in the military base, and the other was the sharpest knife in the military base! As such, the two had shared a cordial working relationship for many years.

"Stuart has successfully angered the veterans, so the next fighter will have to bear the greatest pressure, even becoming the object of the veterans' anger! The only thing we don't know is who they would send out as cannon fodder to bear that burden!" A playful smile appeared on Chief Instructor Wendy's face.

The next person to go up would be in the most danger, as the veterans were now angry and they just wanted to get back at the recruits for Jonathan's incident.

"I'll go next!" Sofia gritted her teeth and volunteered.

"No! I should have gone during the last round, so I'll go this time!" Lucy walked out stubbornly, too.

"All of you stand down and leave the next round to me." Steve's face was calm. "They are in a rage now, so they will not have any reservations. It's better to leave such a dangerous job to the strongest men."

"No! I have grown stronger!" Lucy said, refusing to give in.

"I won't hide behind a woman." Steve smiled at Lucy and Sofia, then said, "Again, as your man, I should protect you at times like this."

Lucy still wanted to fight, but Sofia held her back and said, "This is too dangerous. Let Steve go."

"Be careful." A tenderness appeared in Sofia's gaze.

"You can rest assured that I will not lose." Steve smiled with confidence.

He jumped into the ring, looked at the veteran across from him, then announced, "Don't waste your time! The three of you who remain should come on up, altogether!"

As the veterans thought that they had heard him wrong, they began laughing.

"Hah...What did this guy say? He wants to fight against all three of us?"

"Hahaha, they're only recruits, yet they dare to be so arrogant. They've only won two rounds. They really think we are that easy to push around!"

"One against three? He's crazy!"

"Now, the recruits are getting madder and madder, so we must teach them a tough lesson."

Although they had lost two rounds, they did not really think they were inferior to the recruits. It could only be said that the recruits had been lucky. Starting from the third round onwards, the veterans planned to fight seriously, so that the recruits would learn a lesson!

But, no one had expected that Steve, who was now in the ring, would be so arrogant that to want to fight the remaining three veterans alone! Even the recruits were shocked by Steve's request.

They knew that Steve was strong, but even an ordinary veteran could easily beat their top three, and it was pure luck that had allowed them to win the first two rounds. As such, they thought that Steve had really gotten a big head!

"Alright then, see for yourself if I am qualified to challenge three people at once!" Steve's eyes became fierce.

Then, suddenly, a powerful force erupted from him, as if a bomb had exploded. The invisible force caused a wave to sweep toward the veteran camp. The strong force was as strong as a tsunami, growing stronger by the second!

"An original being!"

"Oh! He's actually an original being! "

"Becoming an original being, even before entering the military base! How many years has it been since such a genius has appeared?"

"No wonder he's so arrogant! He has the right to be!"

The veterans were all shocked, as this powerful force was much stronger than an original being with a basic cell value of 300 points! Because the veterans were all original beings, they were able to understand how difficult it was to break through the 1% bottleneck!

If not for the resources and tasks and challenges of the military base, they would not have been able to break through and become original beings in just one year. Some soldiers even took nearly a year to break through the 1% bottleneck!
