Half a day later, Steve and the others had finally neared the King Ice Tiger's nest. There were large Ice Tigers that roamed throughout this entire area.

These Ice Tigers were similar in appearance to regular tigers, but they were more than a dozen times larger and each had an ice-blue horn on its forehead. These creatures also possessed very powerful skills.

Every Ice Tiger here was an original being, and they were very social magical beasts. The Ice Tiger group was also very prone to attacking without much provocation.

The Ice Tigers were known to wander around the area's abandoned houses, mountain tops, and frosted lakes not far away. Their bodies were strong and covered with black and white stripes.

They were like guards patrolling their territory. Evidence of this could be seen all around the Ice Tiger's territory, where the white bony remains of magical beasts that they had clearly devoured were scattered about here and there.

At the moment that Steve arrived, Three Ice Tiger magical beasts were standing guard at the entrance. If Steve and the others wanted to enter, they would have to take care of them first.

"Steve, you haven't done anything since the moment we set off. We're not your free fighters, after all, so isn't it your turn to do something now?" Brandon looked at Steve with a sneer.

He was commenting on the fact that, so far, this half-day journey had not required Steve's help at all. Instead, all of the magical beasts that they'd met along the way were settled by Theodore's team.

Of course, part of the reason for this was that the magical beasts were so weak, Steve did not have to do anything at all. But, since Brandon had just said such clearly snide commentary, Steve was embarrassed for not having done more.

"Well then, since that is the way you see it, let me handle these three magical beasts..." Steve said calmly.

"Mr. Steve, these are three Ice Tiger magical beasts, which are all at the level of an original being. Can you handle them? Shall we help you?" Dennis asked, clearly worried for Steve's safety.

"No, I can handle them," Steve said with a wave of his hand.

These three Ice Tiger magical beasts' strength were all above 300 basic cell value, but they definitely did not have more than 350 points each. So, with Steve's current strength, he could easily deal with them.

"Be careful, sir," Jacob warned Steve. He also wanted to see how strong Steve was.

Brandon's expression was full of mockery, as he did not believe that Steve could handle these three Ice Tiger magical beasts. In his opinion, Steve was clearly just flaunting his perceived superiority.

Jacob and the others were lurking in the background and were ready to support Steve. If Steve was to find himself in danger suddenly, they would rush in to help him immediately.

Not wasting any more time, Steve charged straight forward, sending Three Ice Wing Flying Knives flying towards the three Ice Tigers magical beasts. Their blue, gorgeous blades were like miniature flashes of lightning!

The three Ice Tiger magical beasts felt the incredible danger approaching and responded with an unanimous roar...

Roar!

As they roared, their open mouths spewed out white frost. The frost was so cold, all of the plants and trees were completely frozen.

However, the Ice Wing Flying Knives penetrated through the frost directly. Before the three Ice Tiger magical beasts had the time to react, the flying knives had even penetrated their heads! The three Ice Tiger magical beasts were killed by Steve before they could even send out a distress signal!

Brandon, Jacob, and the others were all shocked beyond words. After all, the three Ice Tiger magical beasts, which were all-powerful magical beasts with a basic cell value of 350 points each, had just killed by Steve in the blink of an eye!

Needless to say, Steve's strength had far exceeded their expectations! In particular, Brandon's face was quite gloomy. He hated Steve even more now.

He especially despised Steve because he could now see that Steve had clearly possessed such a strength all along, but did not make a move. Instead, Steve had been freeloading and coasting by on his experience all this time!

At that moment, Steve cut off the horns of the three Ice Tiger magical beasts deftly. Apart from these horns being the mission's desired items, the most important thing about them was that they were needed to refine the Spiritual Serum.

The horn of the Ice Tiger itself was actually useless, as it couldn't be made into weapons or added to other serums. It was because of this that no one hunted the Ice Tiger magical beasts, and even if someone needed materials like their paws or skins, they would not cut off their horns as well.

As everyone thought that the horns were useless, Steve had no choice but to hunt the Ice Tiger magical beast himself to procure them, as of course, no one sold them in the markets or even online. Still, Steve had found another use for the Ice Tiger Horn, which was that it could stimulate the brain and might even speed up the development of the brain!

"Hey guys! Come here!" Steve waved to Jacob and the others, who immediately ran to him.

As there were at least a few hundred Ice Tiger magical beasts in this area, Steve's group had entered their territory and began to hunt them carefully. Fortunately, the territory of the Ice Tiger magical beasts was vast, and they would only encounter one or two Ice Tiger magical beasts at a time.

They advanced towards the King Ice Tiger's nest throughout the entire journey. The group of people had killed 30 or 40 Ice Tiger magical beasts along the way, with Steve harvesting quite a lot of Ice Tiger Horns in the process.

"Mr. Steve, Ice Tiger Horns are useless. Why do you collect them?" Alia could not help but ask curiously as she saw him collecting them.

"As I'm a pharmacist, and I study the use of Ice Tiger Horns." Steve made a casual excuse.

"Someone like you is a noble pharmacist?" Brandon sneered. "If you are really a noble pharmacist, why do you have to collect your materials yourself? Shouldn't there be a group of people who are willing to do that for you? If not, it seems that you're not a good pharmacist either..."

Normally, pharmacists seldom did things for themselves. This was because the really powerful pharmacists were supported by large groups, so if they needed materials, there were a lot of risk-taking teams that were sent out to collect such items for them.

But, unlike other pharmacists, Steve's identity as the clown pharmacist could not be exposed. After all, the fewer people who knew about the Spiritual Serums that he made, the better. The others in this group, of course, did not know this.

Hence, when the others saw that Steve had to collect materials on his own, they simply assumed that Steve was merely a lowly regular pharmacist apprentice. But, of course, Steve didn't explain.

"Mr. Steve, we've given you all of the Ice Tiger Horns that we've collected along the way. And, as I've spent quite a lot of money hiring Theodore's team, it seems that you've gotten so many Ice Tiger Horns without spending any money at all!" Brandon said coldly. "Isn't this the same as us basically working for you and getting nothing in return?"

Steve's eyebrows furrowed as he said, "Since you feel that's the case, I'll buy every Ice Tiger Horn from you for 100 in original gold."

"No, it's alright. Mr. Steve hunted most of the Ice Tigers along the way anyway. Besides, nobody would want the Ice Tiger's Horns, even if we were to try and sell them. Hence, it'd be useless for us to keep them," Jacob waved his hand and said casually.

Apart from Steve's having a demand for it, they deemed that the Ice Tiger Horn was really not worth anything. Most importantly, it was Steve's strength on the road that had convinced them to simply be grateful that he was with them. After all, that knew that it would get more dangerous as they advanced forward, and they might need Steve's help later on.

Now, they were just helping Steve a little with his studies and collection. But later, with Steve's strength, he might just be able to save their lives at a critical moment!

However, Brandon didn't think this way. All he saw was that he had paid to hire Theodore's team, but Steve was enjoying the benefits of that expenditure! He refused to allow Steve to get a free lunch on his watch!

"If you don't want the money, I want it. After all, they're the team I hired, so their spoils should belong to me. Since Mr. Steve is so generous, offering to buy each Ice Tiger horn for 100 in original gold, I'll ask Mr. Steve to kindly pay the bill..." Brandon said coldly.
