Dominating Evolution of the Cosmos

A familiar scene happened once again. Steve could see a 3D figure in his mind's eye. This figure looked exactly like him as if it were a mini version of him.

Then, the mini 3D figure started to train according to the "Fundamental Practices of Energy Absorption." It still comprised of 12 sets of moves, however, the 3D figure's moves differed quite a lot from the "Fundamental Practices of Energy Absorption" in detail. Its breathing technique also differed in terms of length and speed.

"The "Fundamental Practices of Energy Absorption' have been improved, and it looks as though the speed of energy absorption has increased. The movements are now smoother."

Steve started to train by mimicking the mini 3D figure. These moves were similar to Earth's yoga moves. Some moves were extremely complicated, requiring joints to twist this way and that, but coupled with the breathing techniques, they allowed one to absorb a huge amount of cosmic force.

Such a fast speed—it's 10 times faster than the previous training method! Steve could not contain his excitement. He was not proficient in performing the moves and the breathing techniques for the improved version of the "Fundamental Practices of Energy Absorption." However, if he could reach ten times the speed on his first try, then as he gradually got used to the moves and the breathing techniques, the speed of absorption was sure to increase even more.

"According to the training plan of the 3D figure, if he were to perfect the moves, then the speed of the energy absorption could reach up to 20 times faster, double the speed of the original 'Fundamental Practices of Energy Absorption'. " Steve was pleasantly surprised. The original "Fundamental Practices of Energy Absorption' could only increase absorption by ten times at its fastest, and that was if you were naturally gifted. Steve frowned, he was indeed fast and could catch up to the top ten members. But if he were to compete against Stuart and Sofia, there was still a small gap between them. Both of their levels of cell activation had already gotten to 50% or above, and now that they had the "Fundamental Practices of Energy Absorption," their speed would surely increase.

"Starting data analysis…collecting information about Stuart and Sofia…" The Heart of the Universe started spinning again. Images of the two flashed across his eyes and were all recorded by the Heart. Not long after, Steve saw a 3D figure of them in his mind's eye.

A bunch of data appeared before him analyzing their levels of cell activation and other information.

"The Heart of the Universe can do that? What other functions does it have?" Steve was surprised—the Heart of the Universe brought too many surprises. However, now was not the time to worry about the functions of the Heart of the Universe.

"18 and 17 days, their speed was almost the same. How long will it take me to reach 100%?" Steve asked.

As compared to what it took for Stuart and Sofia, the time it took to analyze Steve was a lot shorter.

Upon seeing that the level of cell activation could only reach 100% after 25 days had passed, Steve frowned. Seven to eight full days of difference. He was afraid that by that time Stuart and Sofia would have already succeeded in killing the demon Collic and completed the mission.

"Are there any ways for me to catch up to them and not have any repercussions?" Steve asked.
