Klein would rather like the ugliest person in the world instead of this bastard that has too much air in his body!

"And if there is something you lack, it would be honesty" Calix replied and the two stared at each other with daggers in their eyes

Both of them even made faces just like how kids tried to make their enemy annoyed by showing an irritating expression on their faces

"For someone that eats my food, you sure are arrogant"

No matter what, as long as Calix were to continue eating Klein's food, the latter would always win

Without a choice, Calix can only swallow his anger while returning his focus to eating the food

"Ahh, I was looking forward to them fighting longer so I can eat more" Cain said out of pity

The more the two fought, the lesser amount of food they could eat. In return, the others would be able to eat more

Therefore, Cain can't help but feel that the verbal battle ended too soon, and just like most of the time, Klein is the winner

"Stop whispering or you'll be the one I will have a fight with" Klein said to Cain before taking the piece of dumpling that the latter was about to poke using his fork

"Hahaha, nice joke, you know that I will never fight against you. Even if you were to bully me, I would accept that wholeheartedly" Cain joked. He was one of the group's jokers/clown and Klein find him more pleasing to the eyes especially if compared to a certain someone here

"Argh, I want to puke" Klein joked back and Cain immediately places his hand into his chest to act as if he was severely hurt

"Aww, how mean"

August 31 The Year 2022

"Kleeeeiinnnn, I'm nervous! W-what if you all pass and I'm the only one that doesn't?" Liam said out of panic

He was currently pacing back and forth with nervousness written all over his face and body

"And now you are panicking. What did I say before? I told you to treat our practice seriously but you didn't! It's either you are always lazy or hungry! You reap what you sow!" Klein replied angrily

Well, how could he not get angry? He told Liam to practice diligently countless times if he really want to be accepted

However, what did this little bastard does? His expression cracks multiple times because of his own laziness or hunger!

"It's okay Liam, we would still be friends even if you are the only one that doesn't get accepted" Shane said playfully, clearly finding it fun how nervous Liam was

"Pfft babe, don't bully him too much, or else his father will be angry" Cain joked and the father that he pertained was none other than Tristan

Out of the six of them, perhaps, the only person that isn't nervous was Tristan. As for the reason? He was already accepted into the club

Despite Tristan helping his friends in practice, he actually didn't plan on auditioning as an actor

Instead, Tristan uses his digital skills, particularly photography and editing to get accepted

Those are the skills he already has. Although he can audition for better groups instead of the inexperienced group, he decided not to since it wouldn't be fun without his friends

Although the others want to convince him to try acting, they also somehow cannot vision Tristan acting while showing extreme emotions

After all, he was silent and expressionless most of the time. His friends can't imagine seeing him show all sorts of expressions and feeling that acting requires

"If his father doesn't like me teasing his son then we could talk privately hehehe" Shane replied and she even giggled flirtatiously

Tristan was also handsome. In fact, no one in their group is ugly. Calix has that cool, guy next door type of vibes while Cain is the playful guy and Tristan also has his own charm point which was the mysterious air around him

Since Shane has a crush on every handsome guy that she knows, she naturally also has a crush on Tristan. That's to be expected already

"As his father, why didn't you talk to him for him to treat the practice seriously?" Klein played along and he also treated Tristan as Liam's father earning some laughter from his friends

"I did" Tristan answered with a shrug. It turns out, all fault really lies in Liam that tried to shrink and minimize his presence as much as possible

"Anyways, where is that bast— guy?" Klein asked pertaining to Calix

Since the university gives the students a lot of freedom, they let the inexperienced actors form groups to perform

Of course, they would still be evaluated individually. However, since they are inexperienced, it wouldn't be bad to have them already practice a performance beforehand

A lot of people especially when they are just starting don't have the courage to act alone even though they actually have the talent

To make sure that the club wouldn't miss out on a potential star, they have that kind of policy

Hence, the reason why Klein was asking for Calix's whereabouts. Klein was asking for Calix not because he wants to see that guy but only because he was part of the performance

"Ayieee, are you missing him already?" Shane asked in a teasing manner and Klein immediately gave her a deadly stare

"Shut your mouth before I sew them" Klein threatened but Shane only sticks her tongue out to continue her teasing

"What do you see in him that I don't have?" Cain naturally wouldn't miss out on the fun and he stared at Klein with a pitiful expression on his face

It was like he was some sort of a second male lead that didn't get chosen by the main character and he doesn't know why

"You don't lack anything, it's just that Calix is the person inside Klein's heart" Liam also joined in the fun and he became the next receiver of Klein's burning eyes

"Seems like you are not nervous anymore"

Liam can feel the danger from that statement and he shrinks back again

"Stop with the crap. Where is he? The audition will start soon"

"Calix had an emergency in the condo and he went to fix it first but he's already on the way here" Cain finally gave the answer that Klein needed

What a stroke of bad luck to have an emergency right on the day of the audition. But... emergency... is there really an emergency?

"Are you sure that really happens? As I recall, he owed you one before and that's the reason why he will audition. What if he took back his words?"

As Klein has a prejudice against Calix, he was thinking that maybe that guy backs out

Calix doesn't want to be in the same club as Klein especially if it was the Drama and Film Club that would make his life even 'harder' than it already was

The only reason why he is even trying to audition was because he did something to Cain in the past and he owed him one

Cain uses that favor to force Calix but who knows? That guy might have backed out already

If there is something that Klein doesn't like, it would be a wasted effort. It's fine if he doesn't get accepted

However, if the reason would be because Calix didn't attend then Klein would really be furious

If that guy didn't show up on time, Klein will really skin him alive!

"Relax, Calix always takes his words seriously. Since he already promises to do his best with the audition, he wouldn't purposely not attend" Cain reassured him although Klein was still not a hundred percent convinced

"Hehehe, don't mind him, Klein just miss Calix too much"

"Yeah, I miss him so much. I want to be in the same club as him and that's why I am asking for Mr. Calix Blythe Strousse's whereabouts. Are you happy now that I am finally honest with my feelings?" Klein replied sarcastically

His friends always tease him with Calix. To be honest, it already was tiring and it gets into his nerves

He was speaking sarcastically but in the next second, he had a bad feeling as he saw his friends laughing at him

Klein can feel his heart beating faster than it was normally and he gulps a mouthful of saliva

"Don't tell me...?"

This couldn't be the legendary scene of the heroine saying something 'sweet' towards the male lead without them knowing that the male lead is actually behind them, right?

No, that couldn't be it. I mean, just how low is the chance for that to happen?

Klein knows that this real life. That would be almost impossible to happen in real life

"Ehem"

All of Klein's hopes got crushed as soon as he heard that coughing sound. It was a voice he was familiar with and he don't want to hear it at all especially at this time!
