Don't Misunderstood!

"I'm envious!" Liam replied. He actually also has an interest in music. Hence, the reason why his new home also has a music room with various instruments

Roy can only ask Liam's friends to take care of his son for him

Since Liam is interested in musical instruments, Tristan wouldn't mind teaching him if he is free

"Really?" Liam asked happily before his mood drops in the next second. "I actually have a piano tutor before but I quit. I don't think I'm good enough"

Compared to Klein and Shane that are always filled with confidence, Liam is different. He has a bit of a low self-esteem

In fact, one of the reasons why Liam is lazy to do anything was because he is afraid that even after working hard, he would still fail to learn something

Therefore, instead of working hard just to be disappointed in the end, Liam just chose to quit

Tristan is not good at words and he just walks to where the piano is located

"Watch me" Tristan said as he sat on the piano stool. His finger touched some keys to feel the piano first

He closes his eyes as one key after another was gently pressed by his long fingers, trying to get used to it

Although Tristan was still not actually performing, the melody he created was already pleasant to the ears and Liam hummed with it

After some time, Tristan is finally ready to perform and his rhythm changes. The intro keys for one of Liam's favorite songs played causing the man's eyes to twinkle

"I can show you the world

Shining, shimmering, splendid" Tristan started and Liam's lips parted in shock

After hearing Tristan played a sad song, Liam thought that his forte was sad songs with intense emotions

Liam didn't expect that Tristan is also good with showing a gentle and calm emotion while singing

"Tell me, Princess

Now when did you last let your heart decide?" Tristan continued and Liam laid on his side to watch the performance in a better angle

If not for Liam's upset stomach, he would definitely go as close as he can with Tristan

"I can open your eyes

Take you wonder by wonder

Over, sideways, and under

On a magic carpet ride"

Tristan turned to look at Liam with a smile on his face. The look of enjoyment from his face can be felt by everyone that would see him and even Liam can't help but smile too

A new fantastic point of view

Tristan's tone starts to rise as he is starting to get swallowed by the song again

After Tristan finished Aladdin's part, he motioned at Liam using his head and the little guy unconsciously opened his mouth to start singing

A dazzling place I never knew

But when I'm way up here

It's crystal clear

That now, I'm in a whole new world with you"

It was already too late when Liam realizes that he sang Jasmine's part in the song, making him feel embarrassed

However, the normally emotionless Tristan gave him an urging and approval look that gives Liam some confidence

"Now I'm in a whole new world with you" Tristan sang the next part and he gave Liam a smile that tells him "it was okay and he was doing well"

While feeling nervous, Liam ignored his upset stomach to sit and he continued singing

"A whole new world"

"Don't you dare close your eyes"

"A hundred thousand things to see"

"Hold your breath, it gets better"

The two stared at each other making the moment feel magical and the more they sing, the more Liam's mood was lifted. It was like their singing cured his stomach as he almost can't feel the pain anymore

The two continued their song until it ended, leaving Liam breathless. In fact, his fingers itch as he too wanted to play the piano while singing

He already forgot the last time he enjoyed something like this

Clap clap clap

As soon as the performance ended, Tristan immediately clapped his hands in applause

Liam gave him a surprise today. In the music room, it was not only Tristan that has a good voice, Liam also has one!

If Tristan's voice was powerful at times and also versatile, Liam on the other hand has the voice of an angel

His voice was clear and soothing to the ears. He has that gentle voice that can help people have a good night sleep

The clapping sounds returned Liam back into reality and his cheeks instantly blushed a crimson red

"Waahh! I got carried away!" Liam cried out and the pain in his stomach returned, forcing him to lie his back on the soft again

But while doing that, Liam looks at Tristan with almost a pleading look

"D-don't tell this to anyone, please? Especially to Klein and Shane!"

"Why? You're good"

In truth, Liam's friends also don't know that he can sing like that. It was because of his low self-confidence

Liam never sang in front of other people except when he was still a child. Thus, even his friends also didn't know that he can sing

In Liam's eyes though, his singing voice is terrible and he doesn't want anyone to know that he actually tried to sing a song

He was just carried away because of the looks Tristan is giving to him. It was such an encouraging look!

Tristan normally doesn't show much emotion but when he was singing, it was different. It overwhelms Liam and his mind went blank

It feels as if his body moved on its own to sing

"I'm not good" Liam replied with a pout and he stared at Tristan with a puppy look on his face

"Don't tell it to anyone, okay? Please? Please? Please?" Liam repeatedly pleaded

That expression on his face caused Tristan to be unable to refuse for the nth time and he can only nod his head

"Secret" Tristan said and Liam creased his forehead

"Huh?"

"It's our secret" Tristan elaborated and Liam let out a sigh of relief

"Okie! It'll be our secret" Liam agreed happily before his face fell in the next second

"In one condition" Tristan continued and Liam's pouted again. He thought that his shame would be hidden from his friends easily. But sure enough, everything in this world has something in return

"What is it?"

"Play and sing with me" The tall guy answered

Liam thought that the condition would be an extremely hard one but it's actually like this?

The small guy scratches his nose in confusion. "Why would you even want that? I suck at singing and playing instruments"

Tristan had an urge to open Liam's skull to check why his brain even has that kind of thoughts

Tristan still has not heard Liam playing any instrument. However, Liam has a good voice even though he was saying he sucks at it

What if Liam is actually also quite good at playing instruments and he was just thinking too lowly of himself?

Tristan can't help but want to find that out. It also wouldn't be bad if he has a playing partner as cute as Liam

His other friends - Cain and Calix are 'no fun'. Tristan just played with them sometimes but he doesn't enjoy it that much

With Liam on the other hand... Tristan doesn't know why he wants to see more of Liam's performance and he was greatly looking forward to it

Fortunately, it was easy to trick... persuade Liam

"Agree or not?" Tristan ask when in truth, he would still not tell other people what happened today since Liam doesn't want to

Tristan was just trying to use Liam's desire to keep this a secret for the little guy to agree with his request

But Liam thinks that if he doesn't agree, Tristan might really snitch him to Klein and Shane and he doesn't want that to ever happen

"Fine, fine but you can't judge me too much, okay? Don't complain if my playing sucks and my voice irritates your ears!" Liam agreed although he also kind of like it as it was a good chance for him to be able to watch more of Tristan's performance
