Don't Misunderstood!

Thanks to strange emotions that Calix had, he really did act like an asshole

"Go back to work" Calix said while pointing at the pizza dough that Klein 'neglected'

In anger, Klein stomped his way back to the kitchen counter. He grabs the dough in one hand and heavily slammed it, causing a loud banging sound

"Are you trying to murder my food?!"

"No, I was trying to murder you!" Klein answered before deciding to ignore the unpleasant person inside his apartment

"A-aren't you being too hard with him?" Dwayne chimed in. He saw the perfect chance to further establish his image in Klein's eyes. He wouldn't let go of this chance!

"Senior, please mind your own business" Calix said coldly before walking towards Dwayne that clenched his fist

When Calix was just in Dwayne's side,  he uttered words that only the two of them can hear

"I heard that your family company is not doing great right now. If you did your research, you know that you wouldn't want to mess with my family, right?"

Dwayne's eyes trembled at that. Before choosing Klein, he already researched the families of the various student at Stanford University

In that University, almost everyone came from a well-off and powerful family. One of the giants were the likes of Ferrer and Strousse

Since Dwayne is also ambitious, he set his eyes on one of the giants. Even though he was far from being attracted to men, he still made Klein his goal

Now that Calix was giving him a blatant threat, what can Calix do?

Right now, the last thing that he could do was to offend one of the giants

Despite having hostility for Calix, Dwayne still kept his mouth shut

"That's the right thing to do" Calix said while tapping the other man's shoulder and he went back to his seat

"Klein, do you need any help?" Dwayne asked gently. Although he cannot fight against Calix, this is still a good chance for him to make a better impression on Klein

He spent a lot of effort already yet this gay was not budging in. It already makes Dwayne anxious and he wants to obtain Klein's heart as soon as he can

"Nah, I can do this senior. A certain someone might use your help as an excuse to nitpick" Klein answered. He was already finished kneading the dough and he spreads it on the baking tray before putting the sauce he already created earlier

"Anyway, what did senior mean earlier by giving me a heads up?" Klein asked curiously while his focus was still on making the pizza

"I have the revised script with me already and the audition will happen soon. I came to give it early to you" Dwayne answered while showing the folder in his other hand

"Eh? The others haven't received the script yet, right? Why are you giving me an early access?" Klein can't help but be surprised and he unconsciously looked at Dwayne which wasn't something that Calix likes

"Eyes on the pizza!" Calix said in an irritated manner. He doesn't want Klein to look at the real 'asshole' here

Klein calmed himself by taking a deep breath. To not make himself even angrier, he just let Calix have his way and he turned his vision back to the pizza

At this time, Dwayne already want to beat Calix but he can only decide to ignore him

"Well, you know my feelings" Dwayne started and he can hear Calix snorting at him

"What feelings? He just wants to use this naive Klein!" Calix thought in his head but the other two with him has a tacit agreement of ignoring his existence

Hence, Dwayne acted as if he didn't hear Calix at all

"And also, I think the role will suit you. The setting is Historical Romance but it was also a boy's love one. Apparently, it was a mainstream genre these days and most of the group members chose it"

The group had a prior meeting to decide which scrip they would choose but for privacy's sake, the members wrote their chosen script on a piece of paper and placed it inside a box

This was also to prevent the writers from being hurt. Just how humiliating and painful it is if there is no one that chose the script they work hard in making? This process was implemented to avoid the writers' from losing confidence

"A bl huh..."

Although Klein is gay, he doesn't really make his entire lifestyle revolve around it. He just knows that he is attracted to the same sex

But now that Dwayne mentioned it, Klein is a bit interested in acting to one

"How about it? Do you want to try auditioning for one of the main characters? I'll give you the script early for you to practice" Dwayne asked with a grin

Although Klein prefers to obtain the things he wants using his own effort without cheating, he is also quite the realist

If he was a terrible actor, it doesn't matter if he got the script one or two days earlier so what the hell? He'll accept it

"Alright, I'll take it. Thank you, senior. Can I do anything for you in return?" Klein inquired so that he wouldn't feel like he was taking advantage of Dwayne's feelings for him

"Hmm, how about letting me have a taste of your homemade pizza?" Dwayne tried his luck but Calix instantly protested

"No way! That's mine!"

Ever since earlier, Calix already felt like he was being ignored. That was already the case yet Dwayne is even coveting his food? Fat chance!

"Why are you so stingy?! This pizza can fill more than one person!"

This pizza was made with Klein's effort. Why can't he even have a taste of it?

"You are fine, you can eat. But others are a no-no"

Calix's strong refusal gave Klein an urge to strangle him to death. He really doesn't know why this guy is acting this childish

Well, Calix himself also doesn't know the reason. All he know was that he don't want Dwayne to get anything from Klein!

"Hahaha, it's fine. I can just try it in another day, right?"

Before Klein can even nod in affirmation, Calix already cut him off. "No way! He's my personal chef,  he won't have time to make one for you!"

The side of Dwayne's eyes twitches. He was doing his best to not show his anger yet Calix is making that hard for him

Fortunately, before his anger gush out, he received a call

"Excuse me, I just have to talk with my father for a minute" Dwayne said before excusing himself as he walked out of Klein's apartment

"Father?" Calix thought in his mind and he felt like this was a good chance!

As soon as Dwayne went out, Calix immediately grabs Klein's wrist

"Hey! What are you doing?!"  Klein asked angrily. Can't he see how busy Klein was because of him? Just where is this bastard dragging him?

"Sshh! Silence. I need to show you something and that is Dwayne's true color. If I was wrong, consider my price invalid. You don't need to be my chef anymore!"

Although Klein believes that Dwayne is a kind person, Calix's proposal is still very tempting

If he really doesn't need to be Calix's chef/slave, he would grab into any chance!

With that, the two went to the apartment's door and Calix slightly opened it. Just big enough to see a bit of Dwayne's back and hear him

"Father, I am really doing my best right now. It's just that gay is acting like a virgin! He's being too hard to get. Tsk, he's acting like that but I know that he spreads his legs to all men out there!"

Dwayne's ridiculing voice entered the ears of the two and Klein's expression instantly darkened

"Just give me some more time. I'll surely have him on top of my palm. Since the Ferrer Family love their gay child this much, they can only blame themselves if we were to use them"

Klein can't believe it, Calix was right. This Dwayne is really a big douchebag. He was good at deceiving people

If Klein didn't hear those words from Dwayne himself, he really wouldn't believe it

"Do you want me to beat him up?" Calix asked. He's not a big ally of the LGBTQIA+ community that always fights for them. However, it still doesn't taste good in his mouth that someone was being discriminated against just because of what? Just because they like people of the same sex? That just doesn't make any sense!

Klein didn't give an answer and he just head back inside

"Huh? Are you going to turn a blind eye to this?" Calix asked in shock but Klein still didn't give him an answer

Instead, Klein took the box of cupcakes before heading to his apartment door again and wildly opened it,  shocking the person outside

Dwayne turned his head back and the first thing he saw was cupcakes flying directly into his face
