Douluo Dalu Within A Martial World

Bing Xian spent the rest of the afternoon killing any stragglers that tried to escape from the Zhu Clan encampment around Green Valley Town, and did so leisurely from the back of the [Tempest Mastodon].

He found this massive, seven meter tall and ten meter long mammoth of a creature a few days after he left the Demon Grotto and started journeying back towards Green Valley Town. It was surrounded by a pack of wolves that was possessed a strength equal to a Pulse Condensation cultivator, and he saved the beast with the intent of using it as a mount.

After saving the [Tempest Mastodon], although the beast was wary of Bing Xian initially, after coaxing it with a small shard of dark attributed essence stone, it quickly grew close to Bing Xian, and he finally obtained a Pulse Condensation mount.

"I think I'll name you, little Xiang".

The massive [Tempest Mastodon] roared happily, as it grabbed Bing Xian by the waist with its trunk, and placed the six year old on its back, walking back to Green Valley Town.

Bing Xian sent a glance back to the blackened earth littered with burnt tents and bloodied corpses and turned his gaze back towards the village.

'Green Valley Town will be fine without my protection from now on. News of this will eventually reach Green Mulberry City and the Zhu Clan's power will waver as a result. If anybody tries to bother the villagers, they'll think twice after what happened here today....'.

In the coming days, Bing Xian would leave Green Valley Town and continue his journey towards Sky Fortune City! He would bring Wang Xue along with him and help her develop her cultivation so she would be useful to him in the future.

'I've already got a plan in mind. Wang Xue will have to change her image a little bit and I'll have to get the villagers to help build a carriage but....'.

"I wonder what this country's capital is like... I wonder if I'll find anything good there!".

He imagined attending auctions and ambushing those who bought rare and powerful medicines and artifacts. Enrolling into a Sect and becoming the top student there after beating up all the arrogant young masters who depended on their family background.

Courting young ladies from noble families and winning their hearts in tournaments and competitions. Being sent on missions and getting sidetracked and finding rare and powerful treasures which would help him defeat cultivators with a cultivation higher than his own!

Bing Xian smiled.

The [Tempest Mastodon] stopped its advances, and the sounds of loud cheering voices echoed throughout the area.

"Lord Bing defeated all the Zhu Clan martial artists!".

"Wasn't there over a dozen Pulse Condensation cultivators!?".

"Yeah! I heard from my sister-in-law who heard it from her niece who heard it from her cousin that Lord Bing personally killed the Zhu Clan Head!".

"Wow really!".

While it was true that he killed Zhu Yang, the current head of the Zhu Clan, there was only around half a dozen Pulse Condensation Martial Artists. Where someone had gotten over a dozen, he had no way of knowing.

"Sir Bing!".

A beautiful young girl came running over to the [Tempest Mastodon]. Her expression was one of reverence and esteem.

"Little Snow", said Bing Xian, "The Zhu Clan has been dealt with and Zhu Yan is dead. Green Valley Town will no longer have to fear the-.... you reached the Flesh Training Stage of the Body Transformation Realm?".

Their was a small shift in the way she carried herself in Bing Xian's eyes. Her arms looked much leaner and her supple teenage body appeared more confident, and her eyes gleamed with a self confidence that wasn't their a few days ago.

She smiled and nodded.

"This Xue had just broken through yesterday. I spent last night consolidating my cultivation and I reached the 2nd Stage of Body Transformation. Although this pales into comparison with your own strength, Wang Xue is finally ready to help Sir Bing in anything he needs!".

Bing Xian looked down at the beautiful fifteen year old girl and smirked inwardly.

'Using the [Divine Blackening Art], Wang Xue could reach the 3rd or even 4th Stage of Body Transformation in the next few months. By then my plan would work even better.....'.

Bing Xian whispered into her ear.

"We will be leaving Green Valley Town in a ten days. Start packing your things and saying goodbye. We leave for Sky Fortune City after that".

Wang Xue's eyes widened after hearing Bing Xian's words, and she nodded and returned to the Village Chief's house. If she turned back to look at Bing Xian, she would notice that his gaze was firmly planted on the mountaintop on which he built his small cabin.

Jumping on the back of the [Tempest Mastodon] he left he village and returned to the flattened mountaintop, the massive elephant like beast, running around in the forest below.

'I need to cultivate too. I need to condense a [True Shadow Seed] and then start my Strength Training Stage of the Body Transformation Realm'.

He sat down in his small log wood cabin, cross legged with a massive shard of dark attributed essence stone in front of him. Bing Xian started practicing the [Holy Shadow Blackening Art] and his breathing rate rapidly changed every few moments.

His consciousness fully focused on cultivating.

Bing Xian gave Wang Xue ten days for several reasons.

The main reason was to give him time to condense a [True Shadow Seed] and reach the 1st Stage of Body Transformation, so he could enter a Sect in Sky Fortune City, with the identity of a top tier genius.

He couldn't rely on information on several thousand years ago from Xiao An, and the silly crane was too self-absorbed to think about the world around him. So Bing Xian needed to find a place where he could cultivate in peace, while gaining information about the world.

Secondly, was to let Wang Xue sever some of her mortal connections, so that she could fully embrace the way of martial arts. With her current talent, she could be considered someone with value in the Sky Fortune Kingdom, and Bing Xian needed her to make full use of it.

It wouldn't help him if she was constantly worried about her father and brother that it distracted herself from cultivating.

Thirdly, to see if any hidden Pulse Condensation Martial Artist somehow evaded his notice, and wanted to attack Green Valley Town after he had left. On the mountaintop, he was hidden, but had a good vantage point to spy from and could see any incoming figures and deal with them as he saw fit.

And lastly, was just a matter of inconvenience.

He needed the villagers to make him a carriage and give him enough supplies to last ten months of travelling.

The distance from Green Mulberry City to Sky Fortune Kingdom was 10,000 kilometers. It took Bing Xian two months of walking, even with his enhanced speed to travel 3,500 kilometers to reach Green Valley Town.

With the [Tempest Mastodon] he could probably reach Sky Fortune Kingdom within six months, even if they took their time.

'I'll have plenty of time to cultivate in the coming months. Wang Xue will also be able to temper herself in the wilderness.... and then my plan with be able to bȧrė fruit....'.

Today was a good day.
