After bursting out of the underground cave where her clan resided and reaching the surface, the Ice Empress transformed into a streak of emerald green light tinged with red, streaking across the sky!

She traveled swiftly, leaving a long trail in the air.

Soon, braving the blizzard, the Ice Empress flew to the entrance of a massive ground cave and plunged straight in.

The interior of this cave was vast, like a world of ice and snow. Most peculiar of all, it was filled with strange trees made entirely of frigid ice crystals. Upon closer inspection, the trunks had layered annual rings and interwoven conductive tissues, with snowflake-like, intricate leaves adorning the tips of the branches.

Beneath the trees grew clusters of special frost moss, interspersed with a scattering of snow-white spirit herbs, each with a large flower blooming at its core, shaped into polygons with varying numbers of sides, from triangles to hexagons.

But the most eye-catching sight was the few ice-proud, exquisitely beautiful, white-haired, and veil-draped maidens flitting between these strange flowers and trees.

Could there really be humans in a place like this?
