He simply saved Steve and for the plot and ignored Erik for the plot once again...

Scientist Sebastian Shaw, who has observed this through a window, calls Lehnsherr up to see him. While making a friendly chat, he places a metal coin on a desk, he orders Lehnsherr to use his magnetism power to move it.

During these years Howard was also talking with many mutants and was actually building a school for them as a way to make them blend easier in the world...

As he was currently with Sharon touring the streets downtown, E.D.I.T.H-chan who had formed a bond with Sharon and was sharing secrets behind his back or so they think...

She informed him of two interesting pieces of news...

Plans are approved by President John F. Kennedy to build an underground bunker below the White House during its extensive renovation undertaken by his wife Jackie.

The bunker, code-named "Cocoon", is designed to help the president's brother, Attorney-General Robert F. Kennedy, hone his mutant abilities. All funding for this project will be attributed to private living quarters.

"Your mom and dad are trying to end wars while many are trying to cause wars..." Seion said as she lowered Sharon's hands...

"If i were to say how much time we have left in this semi peace world will be close to a year..." Seion added as Sharon frowned...

Sharon then went ahead and hugged him as if she was afraid she will lose him making him chuckle...

"You always chuckle at this, when are you gonna stop treating me like a kid!! I'm already a teenager and can make my own decisions..."

"And no I'm not 18 but 15 so technically I can't take my decisions but I can fool others as I look like 20 that counts as a win right??" Sharon pouted as Seion wanted to cut her off and tell her about the age...

This made him laugh but this time a bit louder as they walked around...

In Switzerland in Lehnsherr forces a banker by ripping out one of the metal fillings in his mouth to trace a bar of Nazi gold to Shaw's address in Argentina.

In a tavern there patronized by former German soldiers, Lehnsherr kills three men as he learns that Shaw has a yacht in Florida.

"That god damn bastard is incredibly hard to find!!!" Erik scowled as he makes preparation to go there...

Meanwhile, in England, Oxford University graduate Xavier is publishing his thesis on mutation while his foster sister Raven, a waitress, lives with him.

Simultaneously in Las Vegas, Nevada, CIA agent Moira MacTaggart follows U.S. Army Colonel Hendry into the Hellfire Club, where she sees Shaw, Emma Frost, Riptide and Azazel.

After Shaw threatens Hendry, Azazel disappears with the officer, moments later he is in the War Room, advocating that U.S. install nuclear missiles in Turkey.

Shaw meets with Colonel Hendry on his yacht and refuses to give Hendry his money, at which point Hendry pulls out a grenade and threatens to pull the pin.

But Shaw takes the grenade and pulls the pin himself, and absorbs the blast, then taps Hendry, expelling the grenade's energy into the Colonel, blowing him up.

Later on during her spying, she found out that they coerce the Soviet military to put missiles in Cuba in an attempt to start a nuclear war between humans so that mutants can become the dominant species on Earth.

Keeping her shit together on not exposing herself she quietly left from there and went through all her contacts and finally found one that was posting thesis on the mutants which was Xavier himself...

Together both of them called many people when they realised the problems they would face and as they were called and agreed to it, the new team that formed the group was named "X-Men"...
