Chapter 9: The Lost! Disoriented Dragon Knight

It was already a blessing for the bloodthirsty Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon not to find trouble with others. How could it be possible for it to save others in such a dangerous situation? It’s rebellious, wild, huge eyes shone savagely. It wanted to throw Molin off its back and tear him apart, even if it meant being punished by the Dragon clan for breaking the contract.

Molin lifted the strangely-shaped seven-inch dragon flute and said coldly, “Say no again, and I’ll imprison you in the dragon flute and throw it into the spatial fissure to be exiled for eternity.” His voice seemed to come from hell, resolute and chilly. This was by no means a verbal threat. He would rather die with this bastard Giant Dragon if it continued to be so selfish.

“You!” The Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon was so angry that the rest of its words choked in its throat, and flames almost burst from its eyes. Molin’s threat was more real than the threat from the forbidden spell. It absolutely believed that Molin could do something like perishing together with it. Being imprisoned in the dark dragon flute prison and then thrown into the spatial fissure to be lost in the turbulence would mean that it would not be released even if it were to sleep until it died. This was a fate far more desolate to a dragon with an endless lifespan than to kill it directly. It shuddered from the depths of its heart.

Every dragon flute that bore witness to the Dragon God Contracts was extremely precious. Almost no one would think of using it to imprison their partner, which was why Molin used this trump card to deal with his rebellious Giant Dragon. As long as the dragon flute was used to imprison the dragon, it meant that the dragon flute would no longer be usable. It was an undesirable outcome since the number of dragon flutes would only become fewer for the Dragon Knight Contracts between the dragons and humans.

“Molin, y-you are ruthless enough!” The Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon Gold Coin breathed heavily, its scales moving up and down, as though it could not suppress its anger and killing intent. Given Molin’s character, it knew that he could definitely carry it out. As such, it turned around with millions of unwillingness and flew toward Aca and the Fire-Attribute Giant Dragon Messiah, which were being sucked toward the spatial fissure.

The difference between being imprisoned and devoured by the spatial fissure was between dying earlier or later. Molin’s words forced the Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon to risk it. The dragon flute, the only way to control this rebellious Giant Dragon, was in Molin’s hands.

“Bump them away and shock them with your Void Magnetic Field! Use all your might!” Molin commanded the Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon without restraint. He did not care even if his relationship with Gold Coin completely broke, and he lost his Giant Dragon or even became hunted down by his Giant Dragon partner.

The Void Magnetic Field of the Metal-Attribute Giant Dragons had the same effect as the gravitational force of the spatial fissure and could offset part of the gravitational force. The Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon retracted the sharp blades on its armor as it dodged the spatial fissures that kept appearing.

Aca saw Molin charging at him with his Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon and immediately understood his intention. He screamed desperately, “No, Molin, you’re crazy! Don’t come! Don’t come! Go away!”

Roar! The Fire-Attribute Giant Dragon Messiah threw unbelievable glances at the Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon, who usually disregarded it. Huge pain permeated it as it was thrown a distance away from the range of the spatial fissure.

The wyvern and the son of the Minister of Civil Affairs did not have it much better in comparison. Both of them screamed and spurted blood foam, and Glenn used all his strength to curse Molin. This f*cking Dragon Knight is obviously taking revenge on me. He was clueless about the danger of being in the range of the spatial forbidden spell.

After they bumped the Fire-Attribute Giant Dragon away, Molin took the dragon flute in his hand. He shouted, going all out, “No, not enough! Gold Coin, blow up the Void Magnetic Field! My life is yours if we can survive this.” He clearly felt that the strength of the gravitational force exceeded his expectations, but he had braved it all to save Aca. He could not just watch Aca and Messiah get swallowed into the spatial fissure.

As for that fly Glenn, Molin could not care less. His life and death was none of his business.

“Molin! You asshole!” The grief-stricken Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon’s cry was completely out of tune. Why was he paired with a knight that did not care about his own life? Did it owe him something in its previous life and had to repay him all at once? It was a Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon that knights did not even dare to control, not a small chick that anyone could step on.

Although Gold Coin was extremely furious, it could do nothing about it. The dragon flute was in Molin’s hands, and it understood very well the consequences waiting for it if it had refused. It was already in a desperate situation, and it could not get any worse.

How could the weak Glenn be able to withstand the extreme momentum of Molin and the Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon? He screamed as though he saw the Grim Reaper raising its scythe to harvest his life. The shining mithril armor stank of urine and feces that oozed out from the gaps. It was disgusting.

The Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon shook its body, flashing its metallic shine, and the double-pointed pyramid-shaped Void Magnetic Field protective barrier released a violent magnetic field shockwave in all directions. The rippling burst was even visible, and the magnetic curve transformed with the strange light.

Molin’s light-attribute battle aura burned almost like real golden flames, and his roar exploded as well. The flames that experienced a qualitative change from quantitative form were even more domineering than the flames of the fire attribute. The Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon also felt the burning sensation on its back. Its dragon armor became a bright red, and white smoke erupted, as though it would melt at any time.

Nonetheless, the Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon suffered an injury that was not minor from Molin’s outburst. However, all that was left in its mind was to find a way to escape the gravitational field behind it. It was struggling, desperately fighting for that elusive chance of survival.

The Fire-Attribute Giant Dragon Messiah and its Dragon Knight Aca catapulted out like a cannonball flying at high speed after the shockwaves of the two consecutive energy detonations, out of range of the spatial fissure.

The unlucky Glenn and his wyvern were knocked unconscious. Their life and death did not matter to Molin from the onset.

“Molin! You bastard!” Aca did not experience any joy from having escaped alive. Instead, he howled sorrowfully at Molin and Gold Coin with his hand extended to the faraway Molin.

The spatial fissure that held on to Aca and Messiah previously seemed to be provoked and became enraged by the Void Magnetic Field of the Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon. It suddenly amplified more than ten times as it drew the gravitational force from the endless chaotic dimensions. This force was not something they could not resist, even though Molin burned away his remaining battle aura and Gold Coin used up all of its energy.

“Hehe, Aca! You have to live for me as well. Give all your love to Onessa and younger sister, Luna!” Molin gave Aca a triumphant smile and waved as though he was bidding farewell. He saw a gray shadow flash behind Fire-Attribute Giant Dragon Messiah. It was the Shadow Dragon and its partner Gardel. The Shadow Dragon’s front claw grabbed the Fire-Attribute Giant Dragon Messiah and quickly escaped the range of the forbidden spell’s gravitational field. It flew farther and farther away with the other Giant Dragon Knights. That scum Glenn and his wyvern were also dragged away from the danger zone in a stroke of luck.

Shadow Dragon Knight Gardel’s dark green pupils gazed at Molin silently, showing a hint of regret.

At this time, saving one more was one more. It had not been an easy feat to drag Messiah out, and he was powerless about Molin and his Giant Dragon. The Sland Empire did not have a Space-Attribute Silver Dragon Knight. Even if there were one, he would be unable to rescue people freely in such a berserk spatial fissure. He had barely managed to rescue the Fire-Attribute Giant Dragon and its Dragon Knight by using the blast of the magnetic field.

“Aca has his Onessa and younger sister, Luna, while I have no one. Having no such connections isn’t without its merits. At least, not too many people will be sad for me. It seems like I even profited from it!” Molin smiled in relief. He never thought he could do something so heroic and crazy in his humble life.

The Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon Gold Coin was completely panicking. It roared continuously and desperately flapped its dragon wings to escape from the clutches of this gravitational force. However, a huge darkness suddenly enveloped the Metal-Attribute Giant Dragon and Molin…

Boom!

The hedgehog-like numerous spatial fissures of the Ultimate Spatial Hell forbidden spell finally became a giant black sphere connecting the sky and earth. After exhausting their magic power, the mages of the Tersi Empire swayed in the air and turned transparent like a bubble before eventually disappearing as though they had never existed.

The dark black clouds in the sky suddenly cleared, exposing the clear blue sky once again. The radiant sunlight shone without hindrance onto the ground. Countless people raised their hands to block their squinting eyes to adjust to the sudden light.

A deep, circular pit that almost covered the entire battlefield appeared from the collision of two forbidden spells and the berserk spatial forbidden spell. Presumably, a beautiful lake would appear here many years later.

The wailing wind swept across the battlefield. The surviving soldiers from both empires had no more will to continue fighting as they stared at the ruinous result from the forbidden spell going berserk and the huge pit that seemed to turn everything into void.

A badly shaken dragon roar could still be heard in the sky above. The commanders-in-chief from both camps blanked out. However, it was certain that the ministers and emperors who received the latest battle situation would deem everything that disappeared in the Ultimate Spatial Hell forbidden spell to have nothing to do with the future.

Perhaps this was an ending? Or perhaps this was just the beginning!
