Tria Calendar July 2, 2012.

A refreshing early summer breeze was blowing through the hills.

I'm leaving my hometown of Rasmore today.

The destination is Doctus, an academic city with a school of magic.

Doctus is about three hundred and seventy kilometers from here.

Traveling with me are three childhood friendly Sharon Jakes, Sharon and my magic teacher Lydiane Dupree, and Sharon's father, Guy Jakes.

Sharon is here with me to join the Tilia School of Sorcery in Doctus, but Lydiane is here just to stay with me.

After breakfast, I'll get ready to leave.

Wear leather jackets and long trousers, gloves and boots. Pretty steamy in the hot summer months, but for me not having armor, this is also a replacement for armor.

On his hips, he wears a belt for throwing swords, given to him by his squire Hector Marron, and carries a bastard sword that he had struck by a blacksmith's belt ram on his back.

The belt is fitted with five throwing swords about fifteen cm long and a small pouch. This throwing sword was also built by Beltram.

It's the type of one with a double blade and a thick meat blade with a circular head, and the model is a "kunai” that comes out of a ninja comic strip I read about a long time ago. Excellent for multi-purpose use, from drilling holes to scaffolding on walls, but has never been used in action before.

Because it didn't become a situation to use Kunai and because magic is still more certain to be used for an attack, but I think this kind of thing is about form. Yes, you can say it's been a thought since my childhood.

And when you have a leather helmet and a hooded cape in your hand, you're ready to go. By the way, I didn't make armor because in my growing years, in a year or two, I'd run out of armor adjustment bills. Every time I grow up, I don't bother to rebuild it.

When I'm ready, I'll say goodbye to my family and my squire.

Looking back at the seven years since the memory returned, giving farewell greetings to the squire and his family.

(It's been seven years since I got my memory back at the age of three. That's a lot going on. Sword training, magic studies, village reform, fighting in the woods...... it was an incredibly full day when I was in Japan. It was really a grey life when I was in Japan...)

He followed with Walt Vassel, the squire head, his wife Molly, and Hector, the archer, and stood in front of Nicholas Garland, Home Affairs, who was deeply involved with me.

I suddenly bowed my head to him, "Ask him about the village, Father".

Nicholas rushes, "Keep your head up," and takes my hand.

I took that hand,

"Perhaps it should be tougher from now on. More people, richer villages. In that case, the hearts and minds of the villagers will also change. That's not necessarily a bad thing. But the change may change the way the village is. In that case, the Lockhart family will have to change..."

Nicholas looks anxious, "Dear Zacharias..."

"But Nicholas would be fine. With Nicholas, I can safely go to Doctus. So make your village better with confidence."

I think the village of Rasmore is changing. More people, richer, and more knowledge through education. Young people will want to get out of the city, and adults will want entertainment.

Still, we should be able to have a fixed store in the village that doesn't have a store but probably isn't a street vendor within a few years. The tavern is still only the Black Pond (Black Ruff) Pavilion now, but it will be able to have a new tavern not too far away.

Now I still only sell “Scotch” in small quantities, but still earn tens of thousands of C (krona) per year = tens of millions of yen. Although the distillery is run directly by the Lockhart family, the villagers also began to have more cash than before because they have bought the raw materials, wheat and grapes, in addition to taxes.

It's good that the villagers get rich. Because that's why we made the reforms.

But if that change is too sudden, there should be distortions somewhere.

I fear the distortion.

And for the safety of this village.

Kids who are going to grow up don't know the dangerous old situation. If generations change, more young people will be reluctant to train and the strength of the vigilante will be diminished. Then the bandits might start targeting this rich village.

The same can be said about the Lockhart family.

Walt, the grandfather and squire head, was over fifty years old. Nicholas and Hector are also past their mid-forties. Still, it doesn't seem so different from when it was in full season, but still the power is down.

The younger generation that buries it has my father and his generation Enos Vassel, Will Keegan, a little younger than my father, but compared to my grandfathers generation, I really have less and inferior experience in action.

I don't even know what to do to protect this village.

Now they say vigilante, but in a form close to conscription. Going forward, it may be necessary to create specialized defense teams by volunteers and mercenaries.

That would radically change the relationship between the Lockhart family and their squire today. It could take the form of an employment relationship, not a family-like connection.

I like my current relationship, but whether I like it or not, if the Lockhart family grows up, it has to change.

Nicholas smiled and told me that I was thinking about it.

"I can't say I'm relieved, but as far as my power extends, I will protect and show you this beloved village of Lord Zacharias"

I didn't say anything, I held his hand hard.

I found Melissa Marron and Dan Jakes with a crying face among the squire.

I take Dan's arm and gently slap him on the shoulder "ask for Mel".

Dan said, "Yes, sir. Leave it to me," he nodded forcefully.

And I stood in front of Mel.

She makes a bright look with a grin, but her eyes were red and congested and her nose a little red. Probably cried till morning. But my doorstep is forcing me to make a smile.

I love Mel like that and I accidentally hugged her.

Mel said, "Gotta! I'm surprised with a small scream," but soon I just whine with my nose, "I'm fine, Dear Zach..." and, as it were, I start to rinse my nose.

"Oh, and Mel's fine."

When I say that, Mel starts whimpering.

And I whine, "Dear Zach..." to say something.

I said, "You don't have to. I know," I hugged her body hard again.

I hugged Mel and whispered, "I'll be right back here," and slowly let go of her body.

She gave a crying look,

"Be sure to come back. Waiting........."

Makes me smile as I almost cry too. He should have had the same crying smile look as Mel from the edge.

Then he strokes the head of his younger brother Theophilus, his sister Serafina, who is in tears, and then stands in front of his grandfather, father and mother, forcing him to smile, "Then I will go".

My grandfather nodded with a tough face like he did during training, and my father put his hand on my shoulder and said, "Don't push it. I'll take care of the village," he smiled.

My mother hugged me and said, "You'll be fine, but if anything happens, come back anytime. Because this is your house," he cried.

I'm getting tears too.

When I opened my mouth, I answered only "yes" and left my mother because I was about to have zero tears.

And then again, "I'm going," he shouted out loud, crossing the horse.

With tears, I smiled at my family again, leaving our house behind.

Behind me were the voices of the squire and his family saying, "You're not going well," and the cries of Theo and Serra.

Liddy and Guy, Sharon's parents and children were waiting at the Mansion Gate to leave together.

I didn't want the three of them to see me cry, so I took the lead and proceeded with the horse.

I've never traveled like this before.

There was also a breakup when I was in Japan. I remember being sent to my mother when I got a job, but this is the first time I've been wholeheartedly dropped off by so many people.

It was the gods of this world who made me meet these people.

I was grateful to God for giving me this happiness.

And I was vowing to my heart to do everything I could to fulfill the mission God had given me.

We go down Kanga Hill and continue inside the village where the aftermath of yesterday's Summer Solstice Festival lingers.

The villagers who prepare themselves for farming will notice us and wave at us. I crossed the bridge over the Finn River, burning the beautiful village landscape in my eyes.

So once, I stopped the horse and looked back.

There was a beautiful landscape with five hills in a row, backed by the harsh peaks of the Aquila Mountains.

(This is my hometown. I'm going to Doctus to protect this place. Keep this landscape burning in your eyes so you don't lose sight of its purpose...)

I burn the landscape to my eyes with my eyes blurred with tears, and I proceed with my horse again.

There's Liddy in the back, but she didn't say anything and was letting me do what I wanted.

After that, I never looked back.

The village of Rasmore to Doctus is about three hundred and seventy km away. Because of me and Sharon, who are unfamiliar with the journey, I've been thinking about an itinerary of about 25 to 30 km a day.

There is only one Guy to escort against me, beautiful Liddy and adorable Sharon, who is only a 10-year-old. We were afraid the bandits were going after us, and we were going to act with the merchants.

In fact, Liddy is also a quaternary adventurer, a leading warrior who can use both bows and magic, but he only looks like a young and beautiful woman by his side.

For this reason, my father tried to put Hector or Nicholas on the escort as well, but I refused to take two good squire into custody for nearly two months back and forth.

Today we plan to reach the city of Kilnarek, 25 km away.

Kilnarek is a regional city with a population of about 3,000, but it is an accomodation town on Ars Street that connects the Kingdom of Kaum with Periclitle and flourishes for the countryside.

I finally settled down by the time I got out of the village onto the streets five km away.

Talk to Liddy in a cheerful voice to shake off the damp atmosphere.

"Speaking of which, you've never been out on the street before. Is the street path pretty wide?

Liddy said, "Yeah," and then he snapped a little bit.

"It's bigger than this road, but it's the width of whether the carriage is different or not. There are probably more places in the woods..."

The road out of the village of Rasmore onto Als Street is a narrow road through which carriages can manage to pass, only about two meters wide.

This was still a crude road to the extent that hairs grew on the beast road, although the road was considerably wider due to the higher number of carriages passing compared to a few years ago.

(You need to build a path to develop your village. With a slightly wider and more well-maintained path, it should be easier for carriages to come too...)

Walk down the road, rocked by horses, through the woods to the west where the leaking day plunges in. After about an hour, he went out on Ars Street, the main street.

Ars streets around here are built in the woods.

The branch of the road to Rasmore Village is so hidden in trees that at first glance you don't know where you're going to get in from. If you look closely, there's a small sign, but the grass is growing and the first person won't notice.

The road on Als Street is wider than the road to the village of Rasmore, roughly three to five meters. Of course it's not paved or anything, it's pretty bumpy. By the way, the roots of the trees stick out, and a carriage without suspension should be pretty uncomfortable to ride.

Horses are also careful not to be taken off their feet, and it seems pretty hard to carry a crack.

(I knew I had to carry the liquor in barrels. I wish the waterway on the Fatas River had developed, but you're talking about a lot of rapids and not being able to use it)

Als Street is built along a great river called the Fatas River. The Fatas River is a river that flows through mountains (or so-so), falling so close to the difficulties and waterfalls where rocks protrude along the way that it is not used for water transport. There are also demons of aquatic habitat, and it is said that danger is not a ratio of streets.

And this Als street, but when it rains heavily, the water flows towards the Fatas River, so the road quickly gets soaked up, he said.

There are also thirty-five km, especially between Kilnarek and Bogwood in the south, after it rains, the speed of the carriage drops extremely. Winter and others are often lost to their destination in the light, and are said to be one of the difficulties.

That's why they don't have a merchant squad stopping in the village of Rasmore, which is five kilometers away, and they often camp around here. This is because this is a fairly safe land around here and it is recognised that it is not a problem to camp.

In fact, there was space for camping near the Black River flowing from the village of Rasmore, which was also left behind after the burning.

I was wondering if I could make a lodging town here.

Originally, I hear that the city was not created because this neighborhood was the border between the Kingdom of Kaum and the Caerm Empire. It's now Lockhart territory, and if our family doesn't get their hands on development, the town won't be built forever.

I was rocked by a horse, thinking about it.

Take a break along the way, heading north on Ars Avenue.

As Mount Shekharion begins to appear on your right hand side from among the forest trees, the density of the forest becomes slightly smaller. The sun shines brightly as it comes out of the leaking sun.

Looking around, Potsung Potsung and several farmhouses emerged solidified settlements, sheep and cattle grazing the meadows.

In a settlement on the way, I ate the lunch made for me by Maid Chief Molly and proceeded again with the horse.

After 2 p.m., over the relatively large river, the Seelin River, we saw a city surrounded by walls.

Guy points his finger at "That's the city of Kilnarek," and me and Sharon are about to embark on their first city unexpectedly.

I didn't think, "I'd like to see the city soon... it's the first time I've seen a city in this world," he muttered.

Liddy seemed to hear that whining, laughing at Couscous, talking to Guy.

"Guy. Zach says he wants to sparkle his eyes and see the city. Show him around later...... huhuhuhuhu"

I just looked a little peeled and said, "Okay. Because I'll have Guy show me around with Sharon. Liddy's leaving a message at the inn," Liddy swells more seriously.

"Don't you talk mean anymore. I'm coming with you."

"I'm kidding. Let's all go together. I hope Guy doesn't have some errands."

Guy seemed to hear us, too.

"It's okay. Each guild will have a face, but it won't take that long..."

Guy and Liddy think I'm sinking and they're acting brighter than usual.

I knew that very well.

(They're both attentive. If it's true, I guess I miss Sharon too, but it's probably because my depression was terrible. But I have to move on. So I don't look back anymore. Until you come back strong......)

Thus, I traveled from my hometown of Rasmore.
