October passed in peace, and it entered November.

The morning and evening cold is getting tougher, but less so than in the village of Rasmore.

I take Professor Raspade's classes at the pace of two days on the fifth, and on other days I go into the woods or study myself in the library.

Initially, he began to enter the woods, hunting relatively weak demons about two or three km from the city, generally below grade eight, but with Beatrice together, he gradually began to go behind the woods.

These days, it is a wasteland about five km in, often dealing with a Grade VII equivalent cannibal ghost (ghoul).

Ghoul is an undead demon with long hook claws in his sharp fangs and eats people, as the name suggests.

He moves fast for the undead and has paralytic poison in his nails and fangs. It is even more undead and therefore resistant to pain, even if his arm is slashed off, he comes toward it with his fangs peeled off. That looks more like a “living dead” than a ghoul, seen in famous shooting games and movies.

And instead of a cumbersome enemy who needs to burn it down or drop his neck in order to defeat it, the only thing in cash is the Demonic Crystal Stone and the bounty. Ordinary adventurers are demons that are completely unpopular.

But it was a convenient demon for me and Sharon to level up.

Saying it moves fast isn't as agile as a large wolf or gray monkey Gray Ape, and the range of attacks is short because nails and fangs are weapons. It takes a while to defeat, but my swordsmanship is just fine. Even for Sharon, it is a good practice platform for fire attribute magic that cannot be used in the woods because it comes out into the wasteland.

More or less than five bodies appear at a time, and they do not make as many as dozens of herds as wolves.

Because “gushing” is good for it, there is no need to look around and there is no competition with other adventurers, so it is efficient.

If you are dissatisfied, the smell is about as bad as it smells and looks gross, but if you get used to it, you don't really care. Sharon wasn't much of a rider at first either, but he stopped caring by fighting a few times.

What you care about since you've dealt with Ghoul is improving your swordsmanship and dodging skills.

Initially, I was at Swordsman Level 20, Swordsmanship Skill Level 25, and Evasion Skill Level 29, but going here for about 10 days has raised all levels one by one.

And if he also went up to level seven and defeated a dozen more, he would have come up to level six. He's knocked down about fifty bodies with four people per day, so in two days, he should go up the ranks.

They have Beatrice and Liddy, so they need to think at a discount, but they're pretty quick to get up there to the sixth grade a month after registration. Of course, when a veteran who was ringing as a mercenary made his first adventurer registration, etc., he quickly went up to about grade five, but he said it's amazing that a rookie under fifteen would go up to grade six in a month.

Well, when I say that, it's amazing in itself that I'm an adventurer at ten.

November 4th, which was leveling up well.

I got hurt from my own "off guard”.

That day, as usual, I was hunting ghouls springing up in the wasteland from around ten o'clock.

The avant-garde is me and Beatrice. Sharon was magic in the rear guard, and Liddy was the usual form of support with a bow.

Beatrice doesn't get her hands on it unless I'm surrounded, and Liddy doesn't get her hands on it much because besides covering me and Sharon, she's on perimeter alert.

As I look at the two ghouls approaching me, I decide to defeat the ghoul on the left first and tell Sharon about it with the hand sign I was using in Rasmore Village.

There is hardly anything in Ghoul that can be described as intelligence, so there is no need for a hand sign, but I try to give instructions with a hand sign whenever possible so that I can use it whenever I need it. Of course, he had taught Beatrice that he could communicate his will without exchanging words.

I measure the distance between two ghouls approaching from left to right and three ghouls approaching from behind. And as I set my aim on the left ghoul and stepped to the left, I slashed both of my arms stretching out to grab me.

Dropped his arm, Ghoul loses his balance and falls on the spot. But on the right, the hell jumped in at me.

This is a common move, so I don't have to panic.

For half a step, shift your body to the right and slash and tear the belly of a different ghoul.

Ghoul loses his balance with the slashed momentum and falls from his back to the ground half a turn. Ghoul was slashed and torn in the stomach, striking his back hard and raising his bitter voice, but it had no effect on his movements, and he stood up immediately.

Predict when to get up, put your arms on it, add a slash where your neck came forward, and slash your neck off. This finally made the whole thing powerless.

Of the three ghouls, two were blown out of their heads with Sharon's flaming thick arrow (Flamebolt), and only one remains.

The first ghoul to slash off his arm didn't completely lose his fighting power either, but now he decides the threat is an intact ghoul and decides to go knock it down himself.

At this time, I was never alarmed.

As usual, he was alert, checked his surroundings and feet, and then went to defeat the target enemy.

I didn't use demon fighting at this time.

Because Gool opponents didn't need it and they “tied” themselves up to improve their skills in swordsmanship and dodging. From the results, it is likely that if I had used demon fighting, I would have been cut through without injury.

I put my sword in front of Ghoul and waited for him to come near me. The rest of the enemy only has no arms to crawl around the ground and there is no need to rush to defeat them.

Against Ghoul as he shook up his arms, I sank my body and tried to slit out my left nostril in an attempt to slash and tear my neck from the side of the enemy.

The moment I tried to get out, Ghoul got his right leg stoned.

Ghoul is losing his balance and leaning toward me. And he fell in the shape of a hug to me as it was.

I slammed my sword into Ghoul's chest. But this was bad.

Ghoul is pain resistant and stabbed in the chest does not result in fatal injury. For Ghoul, the fact that the enemy's sword is piercing his chest is the same thing that sealed the enemy's means of attack.

But then, I could still afford it.

I thought if I let go of my sword and twisted my body, I could avoid it enough.

But that didn't come true.

Unfortunately, he twisted his body to the right and the ghoul was taken off his leg.

Now on your own feet, not on stone.

If I watched it from the side, it would be like a cont move, but it just seemed like a nightmare to me. The moment I try to kill him, he can change his direction in an unexpected way, and he knocks his body down so that he can chase me further the moment he avoids it.

I let go of my sword, twisted my body and was trying to escape, so I couldn't use my body surgery to escape or shoot magic, and I had no hitter at all.

Beatrice panicked and said, "Zach! I shout," but I can't afford to answer, and I'll be dressed like a ghoul to hold me down.

Ghoul is about a hundred and eighty cm tall and will weigh more than 50% heavier than me. He covered me with the momentum that the ghoul ran into.

I couldn't even get passive and hit him in the back of the head on the ground over the helmet.

For a moment, I felt bright white in front of me and a twinge in the back of my nose, but I didn't have time to feel that, and I was forced to deal with my enemies.

Ghoul felt no shock of a fall or anything, and this fortunately bit me in the neck.

While his consciousness is about to fly, he stretches his arms desperately, holding Ghoul's head down, but is forced into an enemy that beats his strength.

That's when I met the ghoul in front of me. It looked like he was laughing at me.

Ghoul opens his mouth wide, showing his gizzard teeth, pressing him to stick his fangs up my neck.

I twisted my body desperately and managed to prevent a deadly blow to my neck. But a ghoul bit on his twisted left shoulder, and he was left to make a big decision.

There was a severe pain running on my shoulder and it seemed like I was screaming before I knew it, but I never noticed it. Fearing for a ghoul aimed at my neck again, I held a Kunai-shaped throwing sword with my right hand.

I tried to stick Kunai in Ghul's head with my right hand, but I already knew I wouldn't make it.

Ghoul's dirty, sharp fangs are approaching my face.

I was ready to die at this time.

I must have a special ability to exert death, but I still have enough health (HP) left, so it won't activate.

If you get your carotid artery mutilated in this situation as well, you're likely to die. Even if there was Liddy, who was good at healing magic, there's a good chance he won't make it.

Even if the healing magic luckily stops the blood, there may be a lack of blood flow to the brain, which can cause significant brain damage.

Will you die in this place? There's still one thing I want to do. I want to look around this world. I also want to travel with Liddy, Mel and Sharon.

I've been thinking about that for a long stretched time.

When I almost gave up, the sight in front of me suddenly opened. The head of the impending ghoul shifts to the left and flies to be blown away.

And in front of me was the pattern of Beatrice's love spear.

It looks like Beatrice had one hair in between, poked it in Ghoul's head, and blew every body out.

I tried to wake myself up to thank you, but there was a severe pain running down my left shoulder and an unspoken groan.

I was not wearing protective gear, I was only wearing a leather jacket. When I looked at the left shoulder portion of the leather jacket, I could see that it had been chopped to bits and that some of the meat on the left shoulder had also been chopped.

Beatrice's "Zack!" I can hear you screaming, and I can hear Liddy and Sharon running.

Beatrice is rushing Liddy for "quick healing magic," but I was confused because of the pain. He was trying to say with such a messy head, "You don't have to hurry, I'm not going to die”.

At this time, consciousness suddenly flew away as Gool's paralysis venom began to turn to his body. I must have some special poison resistance skills, but I can't prevent them 100 percent. Probably with a low chance the poison turned.

As consciousness flies,

(It's a rough day. Ghoul gets his legs taken twice, he even turns to poison... he's been doing well lately, so maybe his bad luck has come together... could Liddy have recovered from the paralysis...)

That's when my consciousness was cut off.

When he returned to consciousness, he was put to sleep in his own bedroom.

I took my hand to the wound to find out how I was doing, and I touched it terribly. However, there was little pain and the left shoulder just felt a little cramped. I was relieved that this was often done because I was looking at the scratches that had been taken from every piece of meat.

Looking around slowly, there was Liddy sitting in her chair asleep.

I guess it hasn't been that long since I got back because I haven't even changed my clothes and I haven't removed my leather armor.

I hesitated for a moment to wake her asleep, but I thought she would be worried, and I rang.

"Liddy, wake up. Liddy."

After roaring "Yeah" into my voice, I open my eyes patsy. You're relieved that I called out, and the tears of a large grain fall from those eyes.

And he hugged me without saying anything, and he cried and said, "Because I was worried" over and over again.

I said, "I'm sorry. Sorry to worry," he strokes her hair with his right hand.

After a frequent cry, Liddy went to get Sharon and Beatrice waiting downstairs.

Beatrice opened her mouth best, "I'm sorry. If only I'd watched it a little more closely..." I've apologized. I held her hand.

"Thanks for the help. If Beatrice hadn't made it, he could have died. And it's not Beatrice's fault. It's my bad luck and my bad luck not being able to handle any situation."

Sharon was peeking into me behind Liddy and Beatrice. You were crying, her eyes were bright red and she said, "Doesn't it hurt? Are you okay," he asks with his nose.

I also told Sharon, "You're worried. It's okay, I feel a little cramped, but it doesn't hurt," he said, trying to reassure me.

But did she lose the thread of tension there, or she was about to collapse from her knee and cling to Beatrice's leg? The way the little kid seemed to cling to his mother, smiling unexpectedly even though he thought it was out of place.

"In the meantime, I need you to tell me what happened after that."

A relatively calm Beatrice knelt beside my bed and made me listen to that later story.

I was injured before noon, and on that spot Liddy cured the magic and healed the wound. But since I never woke up, he decided that the paralysis venom had turned, and he also hung the magic of purification. If the paralysis poison disappears with the magic of purification, you should wake up soon, but you won't wake up after waiting about an hour. I decided it was dangerous to be in the wasteland where Ghoul gushed, and Beatrice came back carrying me.

I got home after 3pm but never woke up.

A worried Beatrice has called a well-armed healer I know, but that healer did not recover from using healing magic. The healer said I was hitting him in the head, so I guess that won't bring him back to consciousness, and told him to go home until tomorrow to see how things were going.

Then three hours, now after the 6 p.m. bell rang, he said, but he said he didn't like it when Liddy left me, and he watched me all the way close.

"I was really worried. I'll hang my own healing magic because I hit you in the head. Maybe this should be okay."

When I say that, I hang the healing magic. Probably a concussion, but I can't fool around with brain damage. Because he may be bleeding in his brain, he repairs the blood vessels in his brain with the magic of the tree attribute, and cleans the blood vessels in his brain so that blood clots and the like cannot be done with the water attribute magic. Finally, light attribute magic purifies around the brain and prevents brain disorders with images that activate brain cells.

(I'm not a doctor, so I can only think of this extent, but the rest would be enough if I had a cup of rest tomorrow. If you feel sick or dazzled, hang healing magic on your brain again......)

Seeing my unusual healing magic, Beatrice was surprised, but Liddy and Sharon seemed horny and only loosened their expression a little.

"Maybe this should be okay. I'm just off college tomorrow, and I'm taking my time sleeping. You're hungrier than that. Sharon, are you ready for dinner?

Sharon said, "Yes! I'm going to reheat it," he said, going down to the ground floor to fly.

As I tried to get up, Liddy stopped pushing and Beatrice held me up. I'm ashamed of my impotence with the so-called princess hug. I told them to let me down because I could walk on my own, but the two of them didn't have ears to listen to and went straight down the stairs.

With the princess in her arms, she is taken to the dining room, but only one good thing happened.

Liddy hadn't taken off his leather armor, but Beatrice had already taken his gear off and had a rough outfit called Vest on his shirt. There were two big cushions on my right.

I was enjoying the feel of the elastic cushions but soon arrived in the dining room and was slowly seated in the chair.

Sharon already warmed up the stewed dish like a stew and served it before me.

When I tried to eat, Sharon said, "Master Zach has not washed his hands. I'll help you," he says, sitting on the side, taking the spoon from my hand, feeding me stew. Beatrice and Liddy looked at it smiling.

I worried about the three of them, so I decided to endure this shameful play.

"Help me, will you tear the bread and soak it?"

Sharon followed my instructions and took good care of me.

In the meantime, Liddy went to get dressed, and the remaining Beatrice was about to leave.

"It really helped me today. Thanks."

Beatrice said, "Never mind. Today's is my mistake, too," he says, raising one hand.

The look on my face looked lonely and I accidentally spoke up.

"I can't take a bath today, but why don't you stay?

Beatrice was about to say something, so she said, "Hey, Sharon. You can have Beatrice," he called out to Sharon.

"Yes. It would be more helpful if Mr. Beatrice were here. It's hard for me and Lydia to carry Master Zach."

Liddy also showed up there and said, "That's right. Let's have a drink while we watch Zach sleep," he laughs.

When I said, "It won't be there," I said, "It's a worried punishment," and I kissed my cheek.

The next morning I woke up refreshed with no headaches or nausea.

Even when I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night, Beatrice shut up to hold me, but was able to welcome me in the morning without anything.

The weather looks nice, but I'm going to make it a rest day, so I don't even train in the morning and relax and hit the gobble and turn around in the futon.

Next door slept Liddy and Beatrice, who brought in a folding sleeping area for guests.

I thought you were kidding, I was really drinking last night watching people sleep. I just didn't say anything and was just drinking quietly, so I fell asleep right away though.

I was bewildered by the fact that three women loved me, including Sharon, as I looked at the two sleeping faces. Because some Mel is in the village of Rasmore to be exact, she will be loved by four women.

Mel and Sharon are just kids, so maybe it's just admiration. But the two people sleeping here are grown women. And two beautiful, independent women love me.

Beatrice hasn't said anything, but I'm not going to be blunt enough not to look at it from yesterday's attitude. No, it may be dull enough, but I still know from yesterday's attitude that you're looking at me as a man.

I couldn't have been in the original world, and I'm failing to marry. Liddy, I'm happy enough for one person to give me my thoughts. So I'm confused by this situation.

(Not yet. It's something you have to seriously think about one day. But this is the guy with the rear... I can't blow it up, but I don't know if I'm going to be in this situation...)

As I thought about it, watching the two of them sleep, I could hear Sharon's footsteps down the stairs.

I know you went to get ready for breakfast, but in those footsteps, you two wake up.

"Morning, Liddy. Good morning, Beatrice."

Two people reacted to my voice, and Liddy yawned, and Beatrice returned the greeting, bewildered by this situation.

When I said, "I'm going to get dressed now, so get out of here," they said they'd help. Exactly. The shame play ended yesterday, so I kicked the two of them out of the room, changed and then went down the stairs.

Over breakfast, we had a reflection on yesterday's Ghoul Battle.

Beatrice nods, saying that I was not meant to be alarmed but that I was alarmed that I was unable to cope with the change in circumstances.

"You sure do. You are calm under any circumstances, and you can use your magic and sword quite well. You're already top notch when it comes to avoiding it. You must have been alarmed for that."

Her opinion was in line with mine.

"You're absolutely right. I didn't think I'd get caught like a ghoul myself."

"Your best warning is that you're not wearing protective gear. It is easier to move without protective equipment. Maybe it shouldn't be in your style, but if you're gonna stand avant-garde, things like yesterday are gonna happen again sooner or later. If we had protective equipment at that time, we'd be in a completely different situation. You know that, don't you?

What Beatrice was saying was something I had in mind myself. The biggest factor in yesterday's failure would have been that he didn't have “insurance”. This means that the way we fought until yesterday, no matter what the circumstances, was premised on not failing.

Whether you get ambushed or an incident, you can always avoid it. I guess that was the idea in me. If you were wearing leather armor, shoulder damage would have been considerably reduced. If the shoulder wounds were shallow, I could have fought back against a ghoul biting on my shoulder.

"Beatrice's right. Whatever Sharon doesn't answer the avant-garde, you should be wearing protective gear. Besides, it's no use putting protective gear on now. Hey, Beatrice."

Beatrice nods at Liddy's words.

"You've never worn protective equipment, have you? The range of motion of the body is different when wearing protective equipment than when not wearing it. Anyway, if you're not going to wear protective equipment for the rest of your life, if you're going to wear protective equipment, you should get used to it now. That's what I mean."

I said, "Okay. I'd like to go see some protective gear at noon, but can you show me around," I said to Beatrice.

"It's your day off, isn't it? You'll have to get some rest."

Both Liddy and Sharon snorted at it, so my shopping was rejected by an opposite majority.
