Dream Star

Yume-chan and Haruka seemed to have sorted things out. That's good. Now all that's left is for him to fix things with her. While things have seemed somewhat normal all week whenever he walked her home, she would remain a distance from him. She wouldn't hold his hand either. Atsuya sighed, how complicated.

As of late, he wanted to tell Yume-chan who he is. Even more so after he found out how much of a big fan the girl was of his little sister, all right, get a grip. Just tell her straight. Who you are. Tell her that his real name isn't Kisaragi Atsuya.

But Tsueno Huan.

Yes, that's right. People know his mother as the Queen of music and his father as the flash. He exhaled deeply, well right now his family circumstances are awkward. Both his parents are not around, even if they were, they wouldn't be able to live together. It was something he had accepted a long time ago.

His gaze fell on his girlfriend. He doesn't want to leave her. But eventually, this mission will end. Even without him here, Haruka will be just alright. He spotted a Ferris wheel, "All right! To end the night with a bang, let's ride on that."

"An enclosed space, perfect," Mikado commented.

"T-that's…" Selia stammered.

"Haruka?"

"Kanna-senpai, ride with me," Haruka said.

Atsuya couldn't miss the look in his friends' eyes and clenched his fist.

"These are the people?"

Kyoko nodded, "Yes, I'd take care of this myself. But.."

"I know."

She smiled weakly. "It may take a while.."

"It's fine," Huan assured her. He scanned the list, and spotted one name highlighted in particular, "Karashima Haruka?"

"He's the main concern. The other people, for now, are normal. But eventually, his path will lead them towards the others.." Kyoko explained, "Make sure he sees the light. Otherwise, the others will get affected too. The fate of these five will revolve around him."

"Sounds simple."

"Are you listening?!!"

Atsuya's thoughts broke off.

"Uh, what?" Atsuya said.

Yumeko cheeks puffed up into a pout, "Atsuya-kun, are we actually dating? You never listen to anything I say and these days you have your head in the clouds…"

His sweat fell at that comment. He's thinking about how to explain this mission, him hiding his identity. He wants to introduce Yumeko to everyone at home, to tell her the truth. Atsuya sighed; he shouldn't space out too much in front of her. She will get angry. He extended his hand out and placed his hand on top of hers, "Right, sorry."

Yumeko's cheeks reddened, "This bribe won't work!!"

Atsuya laughed, "I know." He knows.

"If we were dogs, I'd be an adult, and you'd still be a puppy.."

Yumeko glared at him, "I'm serious."

"Right I know you are, but it doesn't bother me you know? The age difference thing. I never really noticed." Atsuya said. Sure he had a proper look at their profiles and seeing kids mixed into this mess. His desire to help them grew stronger, and yet. The moment he fell for Yumeko, he stopped thinking of her as a kid he has to help. But the woman he loves. He wants to protect her.

"But I'm insecure and worried that one day you'd fall in love with someone your age."

Gahh. Why is she so cute? So difficult, it's hard to control himself when she's like this. Seeing Yumeko's tears, he cupped her cheek and wiped the girl's tears away.

"And one more thing, don't get attached."

"Attached?" Huan said.

Kyoko nodded, "It's exactly that."

"I've done missions like this before." Huan reminded her, "There is no need to worry."

Kyoko walked over and extended her hand out to caress his cheek, "But I'll worry. On all those previous missions, you got attached. Though you were discrete about it."

He laughed, "Guess you found out."

"Brother."

"I know, I get it."

He broke his promise. He became attached. But unlike the previous missions. This attachment is more dangerous than before. He loves this girl and Haruka. Haruka, he wants to spend more time with him. Unlike the last time, Huan understood that he could not detach himself. When the time comes, will they hate him? He will have to take that risk.
