July 27th, 2035 (London)

He trusts her, he does. But, regardless. Haruka trailed after her. Like Lila said she was going with Jae-hee and the other two, so he knows she isn't lying. However, it felt like there was something much more than a simple hospital trip.

"Why are you with me?" Haruka said.

Itsuki chuckled, "What's wrong? I want to play spy too."

"I'm not spying."

"Right, you're stalking your girlfriend." Itsuki rephrased.

Well, maybe he is.

The hospital visit hardly took long. It surprised Haruka. Since she isn't from here, the waiting time should be longer. She probably used that man's connections. It irked Haruka that Soichiro came to England too. Soichiro has shrunk from his responsibilities and pushed everything on to Lila. Haruka is cautious. The boss told him to be careful, 'That man is planning something.' Even if the boss said that if Soichiro does have something planned, Lila will be involved directly this time.

The two of them are enemies. From the moment he followed the boss, Haruka knew that one day he would have to go against Lila. After all, Lila is the second heiress of the Terashima family. She's the one where the blood of a pure breed hanyou princess runs the strongest. It's only natural that an underground organization like the boss would target her. He has a reason for becoming a member of the boss organization despite the consequences.

His thoughts broke off when Itsuki suddenly put something on his head, Haruka frowned. "What are you planning now?"

"Ssh, if you speak so loudly. They will over hear.."

Haruka sighed and took the items from Itsuki's hands.

"Ari-chan, this shop is good too. Shall we split up and look for a while?" Kotori said.

Lila nodded.

Lila looked at the various items lined up on the shelves. The purpose of this outing was to get Haruka a gift. While she wanted to pay a visit to the hospital too. Lila didn't have to bring everyone else with her. Her cheeks reddened as she recalled Haruka's expression regarding the hospital matter. He even had the nerve to ask her if she needed them. Stuff like that, she still isn't sure off. She's still a child after all, with her present state raising a child of her own is something uncalled for. It will surely happen one day in the future. In the present though, she hasn't thought about it.

She wonders if Haruka wants a child. It's something that's still far off in the future. But, he wore such an expression — a child.

Come to think of it, a conversation they had when they first started dating.

Her gaze landed on Haruka who was laying down on the sofa. She cautiously walked over only to be dragged down.

"Wah."

"You smell so good." Haruka murmured.

He looks tired.

....

"Family?" Lila repeated.

"Yeah, you don't know the full story of why I ended up abandoned right?"

Lila nodded.

"At some point in my life, I started to crave the warmth of another person…"

This must be why he started sleeping around with other people.

"Even though I understood full well that a person like myself doesn't deserve it. I wanted warmth even if it's only fake…"

Lila gently caressed his cheeks, "Is this fake? What you have with me?" Lila asked.

He chuckled softly, "I wonder myself sometimes.."

Lila frowned, but Haruka shook his head, "No need to worry, I have to get used to it... This warmth you gave me. I won't take it for granted."

"Haruka…"

"If you were to become a member of my family, would I have an excuse to keep you beside me?"

"Oh, that's an interesting shop they've entered. Does Ari-chan have that sort of fetish?" Itsuki said.

Haruka looked over and saw the words S&M and glared at Jae-hee, what is she doing? His girlfriend's cheeks reddened, and she shook her head before walking off.

Jae-hee laughed, "You're too innocent!"

Kotori shook her head, "No, uhhhh it's only natural! What are you thinking?"

Maika nodded, "Right, keep your fetishes to yourself. Kotori-san, let's help look for normal shops.."

....

A while later

Jae-hee's actions didn't stop there though. Haruka almost rushed over and stopped her until Itsuki pulled him back, "Now, now. How can we spy successfully if you act like this.." Itsuki said?

"Why are you stalking with me, anyway?"

Itsuki chuckled, "I say spy, and yet you say stalk. So you admit your being creepy and following your girlfriend."

"I'm just worried. Do you know how many weird guys she ends up attracting?" Haruka said. It can't be her hair color. Sure in Japan that hair color stands out. But over here in England, there're loads of people who have dyed their hair.

"Right now though you're attracting the most attention.."

Indeed, as Itsuki said this, many people were looking over at him. "This is because of your stupid disguise!!"

"Stupid? But we haven't gotten caught because of it.."

Haruka didn't counter him and sighed. He turned back to focusing on his girlfriend.

A few hours later.

What is she doing? No matter how much he trailed her. Haruka couldn't understand what she was doing at all. For the last few hours, he watched his girlfriend go in and out of several shops. But she bought nothing. Haruka concluded that maybe she was going sightseeing. But there was something wrong with that conclusion.

Itsuki chuckled, "Let's take a break."
