Dungeon Farming: Reborn as a Dungeon Lord, cultivating life inside a cave.

The two features I had yet to test were Expansion and Status.

By what the tutorial said, expansion was about expanding the radius of influence of the Dungeon Core, which would be completely useless to my current situation...right?

While I couldn't be sure, I placed my bet in the Status feature first as I had a feeling it would also allow me to learn about the Mana Sight skill the Building Tutorial talked about.

As I looked through the status window, I clicked on the Avatar word.

Hmm....so if I rise it to D, will I be able to use magic?

"All right, enough of this boring stuff! I can look on the other details later! For now let's train Mana Sight so I can start digging some gem stones or maybe an exit for this place!"

This time the training was quite easier, keeping in mind the feeling of directing mana to my hands, I started directing it to my eyes. At the beginning nothing happened, but after 5 or so minutes the colors around me started to slowly change, making the walls color get darker and darker and the luminous crystals became whiter and whiter.

After a few more minutes the change was complete, and my world was completely black and white. I looked at myself and discover I was also painted in grey. Then I concentrated mana in my hands and saw their colors change to shinny white.

"Cool! But I see no Blue, Yellow or Red walls. Do I need to activate it again?"

As soon as the feature started activating, I saw countless runes flying out of the Dungeon Core and circulating it in the air. As the last rune got out and they formed a perfect circle, they suddenly sparked together sending out a light pulse that expanded to outside like a sonar passed through all the walls. Soon after the light pulse passed, the walls started changing colors. On the side of the collapsed entrance, all walls were black as if some force field was blocking the scan from going through, as for the other sides, the walls were light blue just like the color of sky without any clouds at noon.

[Building mode activated]

The end of the activation process was announced, the runes circle kept on circling around the core and every few seconds a new sonar was released, reinforcing the colors in the walls. I approached the blue wall opposite to the entrance.

"Should I watch the tutorial again? ...Nah, as they say, practice is the best teacher!"

I accumulated magic in my hands like a glove, my heart started beating faster, maybe due to the excitement of doing something new, but I didn't allow the eagerness to take control of me. I took a deep breath to calm down and not commit any stupid mistake and...

"Time to do some digging!"

My life as a Dungeon Lord truly began.
