Dungeon Master Makeup Money

Lesson 8 Results of Training

Spent a day and a half training.

Day four after it snowed.

I was walking slowly through the meadows just like the second day.

"Snow, or..."

Looking up at the sky, it was starting to snow even though it was clear in the morning.

Temperatures are lower, most animals hide themselves in places where the warmth lingers, and there are no ordinary (...) birds in the sky.

Instead, four demonic eagles were flying.

Here he comes.

He was searching for the demon figure by sharing his sight with the user demon who was releasing it in the sky.

My brain was strained because I was flying each of the four wings in a different direction in order to make me look extensively. Still not unbearable.

I shared my vision with the eagle, the demon of use, and I had three bright white bird demons approaching me from a kilometer away.

"Are there adventurers nearby?

"He's here, but he doesn't seem interested."

Snowhawk is flying pretty high.

Some adventurers had the means to attack ranges by bow and arrow and magic, but still not enough to cope with the altitude where the snowhawk is.

"Is it going to arrive?

"I can't do this."

"I'd be fine if I just delivered it, but it might not be powerful enough to be that far away."

It doesn't make sense if you can't scratch it even if you manage to hit it.

Sylvia and Ira can't strike a snowhawk in the sky.

"Then it's my turn."

Melissa, holding a cane in her left hand and pointing her right index finger and middle finger towards the sky, waits for Snowhawk to come nearby.

Snowhawk approaches.

Along the way, arrows are fired at the sky several times but fall to the ground without reaching a swarm of snowhawks.

"That level of altitude will get you enough."

- Zudon!

A bullet of wind fired with an explosion from Melissa's fingertips shoots through both wings of the snowhawk.

Snowhawk falls to the ground after being shot through the wings and can no longer be flying. The other two snowhawks, who belonged to the same herd, ignore their fellow men who fell to the ground and fly away somewhere.

"Yes, you should have this."

"Thank you"

Collect the snowhawk that fell to the ground and pass it to Melissa.

I see the snowhawk that disappeared into the storage ring and say again what I thought about Melissa's use of power.

"By the way, where's the hunt now?"

I only dated Melissa's training at first, but it was supposed to be aimed at attacking her quietly without making a sound.

But no matter what the force used now, there is no secrecy.

"I thought. Given my magical qualities, I'm more certain to attack my opponent in an instant, emphasizing speed than hiding and hunting."

Indeed, it hasn't taken two seconds for the wind bullet released from Melissa's fingertips to penetrate both wings of the Snowhawk. There's no point in hearing a fired explosion without time to escape.

It does make sense.

"But what about that condition?

"It's okay. Wings are the only thing that's no longer useful, so the meat is safe."

The wings pierced by Melissa's magic had disappeared.

What could have been recovered was the carcass part where the meat could be expected.

If the feathers are also in good condition, they can be bought away, so if you say you are not physically, you are not physically physically.

"I hope so."

I don't have a problem with money.

"We found our next prey, so we're moving."

I found the Snow Rabbit, which is what I was looking for, thanks to letting the demon use it to search the ground even while I was retrieving the Snow Hawk.

"Who's gonna do it next?

"I'll do it."

Ira sets up a hidden holy bow from a position far from Snow Rabbit.

Its eyes are serious in themselves.

I'm also hesitant to speak up.

"Kew!

Soon an arrow was released from Ira's bow.

I missed the moment I shot the arrow.

He was a snowrabbit who had not noticed the arrow approaching him, but he lived because of the cold or because it was not a steep point of something piercing Snowrabbit's belly, and he runs in the opposite direction from us.

but shortly after he changes direction, the dagger pierces his neck.

"If you want to do it right, do it right."

"... thanks"

"Well, you should think it's practice"

It's a snow rabbit that has been easily escaped before, but now it's easy to hunt if you think on a party-by-party basis.

"That and this, because we can attack from this far away position."

We were attacking from a hundred meters away from Snow Rabbit.

I can still see other adventurers approaching and trying to finish while hiding their signs by attacking them from a few dozen meters away because they still share their sight with the demon.

The results of the training include…

"Didn't you guys train to hunt?!?

Melissa had increased her magic speed and Sylvia and Ira were working out how fast the attack would reach their opponents.

Clearly, my covert abilities are not being trained.

"No, I've been trying a lot over the course of a day and a half, and this one was easier."

"It has indeed borne fruit...!

I succeeded in defeating the demon.

But is it okay to solve the status-legal problem?

"Oh, my prey is leaving me here"

Approaching the snow rabbit where the adventurer is falling to the ground in an attempt to get Sylvia's tailored snow rabbit while there is such a contention.

- Gussa!

- Saku!

"Hey!

A dagger and arrow pierce the arm of the adventurer.

"It is our laid prey"

"I won't tolerate it."

Run closer to the adventurer Sylvia and Ira tried to retrieve Snow Rabbit.

We can't help but get close when we see the benefits and face each other.

"Oh my God, you guys! What did I do?

"Because you're trying to steal our prey."

"Ha!?

I also know what a man wants to say.

He watched us run and approach from about a hundred meters away. Normally, they don't imitate things that end up so far away, albeit hunting.

Even if they didn't think we did it.

"Are you hunting alone?

"No, I have company nearby..."

"Then you'll have your buddies take care of the wounds."

Store snow rabbits.

"Normally you can't just leave your prey untouched."

There are fewer beasts and demons because of the cold weather in winter.

You should carry in some impotence even if you have more than planned in such a situation.

Shit, I'm sorry.

Ask Melissa to heal only the minimum wound because I have trouble even with rebellion.

Return to the direction you came as you pressed your arms with a fluttering foothold.

"Are you all right!?

Three people picked me up after a short walk.

When he sees his wounded companion, he rushes over.

He looked familiar to his buddies, especially with a hammer running the lead.

"Your husband?

"That guy in the lead is Greg."

"Oh, he..."

Greg is the one I knocked down after having an arm wrestle at the tavern.

I don't remember what happened afterwards, but when I heard the story, they made me bumpy. He had a weapon with no crushed hands or how he got bumped.

"What happened!?

"No, that's..."

A man was trying to tell me.

"Did they do something to you?

"No, that's..."

You'd be misunderstood if you did that.

"I owe him one. Just fine."

Unlike when we met at the tavern, Greg with a weapon approaches us.

Besides, even two of my buddies were pulling their swords out of their sheaths.

"What a nasty party."

All men and avant-garde.

That's why he was only a muscular man.

"I'll pay for the fire powder that comes down."
